Travel / Re: Why I Want To Visit Nigeria - A Foreigner's (Flimsy) Reasons. by guyX(m): 6:07am On Feb 21, 2015
AlpineSnow:

Thanks. I guess you might say I'm literary inclined. My mom was a librarian/teacher and that's how my interest in literature began. Yeah, I'm definitely going to wait till you folks sort out this election thing. And I'm definitely not going to Maidaguri.
Now this is truly an African.
Not the white folks who'll ostracise the whole of Nigeria in lieu of a part.
All of Nigeria is not dangerous. Unless you visit Borno, Maiduguri, and some other northeastern states.
no offence intended.
Education / Re: 10 Words Nigerians Use That Are Not In The Dictionary by guyX(m): 10:37pm On Feb 18, 2015
Nonsense. Any word that is not misspelt is a new word.
Who cares if it's not the dictionary. Do you think it's only the English people who have the exclusive right to create new words?
I beg to differ.
Cross-carpetting is correct in so far as it's not coined from an already existing word.
Culture / Re: Warri- The Urhobos, The Itsekiris And The Ijaws : Facts And Factlets. by guyX(m): 1:10am On Feb 16, 2015
Rapmoney:
Op, nor let Area!!! Catch u o! grin
On a serious note, you very WRONG that Warri is a 'no man's land'!!! Warri, historically, belong to the Itsekiris. Where do you think names like Giwa-Amu, Giniwa, Pesu and the likes came from? The Itsekiris lost a greater part of their lands due to inter-ethnic conflicts with the Ijaws and Urhobos. When I was in secondary school, we took 'Itsekiri' as our local language!!! Today, you won't find that! And am talking of Warri-South Local Government Area which the Urhobos are claiming ownership of. This led to to many tribal wars in 1992, 1993, 1996, 1999 and 2000. Any one who witnessed the crises will definitely know what I mean.
What about the crisis in 2004 or is it 2005

Religion / Re: Does God Really Exist? What Makes You Believe? by guyX(m): 8:14pm On Feb 04, 2015
DieeDiee:
This one is for all believers no matter which God you worship. It's 2015 people, a new year let's all include one resolution in our list/s of resolutions - that if you have nothing worthwhile to add you shall refrain from displaying your minuscule, child-like mind and try to act like an intelligent and mature adult by refraining from adding stupid comments, empty posts and/or full stops or from insulting and name calling. To all them ever holy christians I know you love to show off your cursing skills but please no curses today and yes I know I'm already going to hell for my question so thank you no need to inform me. Now those who want to answer please tell me why you believe God exists, please do not quote me scriptures or what pastor so-and-so said. I'm interested in knowing if you have concrete proof e.g. you saw angel come down or something happened... Something concrete please, not blind faith else we might as well as believe in aliens and mermaids.
You get mirror for house abi?
Stand before that mirror and ask yourself this question.
Is it possible for a boy as handsome as me to happen by change?

Google about the big bang theory.
And also, Newton's first law of motion states that what ever that is in motion or in a state of rest will continue in it's present motion or in it's state of rest unless acted on by a Force.
This law is also called Inertia.
That force that made the earth to start rotation is what?
Scientists has no answer for that.

Also, your mind or voice that speaks in you, where in your body is it coming from?
Scientists can't also answer that.

That Force is God.
Religion / Re: Goliath’s Skull Found In Holy Land! by guyX(m): 7:47pm On Feb 04, 2015
If you read your bible you will realise David cut off his head and took it to the Israelites.
So the stone was never removed from his head.

Religion / Goliath’s Skull Found In Holy Land! by guyX(m): 6:55pm On Feb 04, 2015
In the post, Ben Witherington digs
up the following ‘proof’ of Goliath’s
existence, from the 25 May 1993 copy of
The Weekly World News, a publication
which claims to be “The World’s Only
Reliable Newspaper”:
Weekly World News, 25 May 1993
The Weekly World News , for those of you
who haven’t encountered it, is famous
for stories about Elvis sightings, aliens,
human-bat hybrids, and various
supernatural beings…not to mention the
odd Giant. It seems the story was later
picked up and published as though it
were a genuine archaeological discovery
in The Kingdom Times (Belfast; May
1994), a publication of the British
Israelites. BW3 was having wee joke
with us, you see.
Here is the story from inside the Weekly
World News (but how did Goliath’s skull
get back to the Valley of Elah from
Jerusalem?):
Weekly World News, 25 May 1993
I wonder about the identities of the
unnamed “top Bible scholars” who
confirmed the story. Could it be
that the Weekly World News article was,
in fact, the first joint publication
from Provan, Long and Longman?
Literature / Re: Chimamanda's 'Lights Out In Nigeria' by guyX(m): 4:24pm On Feb 02, 2015
Here in unizik awka main campus, we get up to 23 hours of light daily.
Our generators are suffering from under use.
Ask a unizik student who lives on campus when last he used kerosene to cook.
He'll laugh at you and say he doesn't even have a kerosene stove but cooks everyday.
#hotPlate on point.

So many people here are still virgins. Some because they choose to and some due to lack of opportunity.
But I tell you, you won't feel better after losing it. Ask those who did it.

right , you believe jesus was superior because jesus was part of your race or because those that enslaved your race for many years said jesus power was a super power over the god of your own race... keep deluding yourself.
All this talk about race. You sound Like a babalawo. except you use laptop for divination.
And my Lord Jesus is not described as 'was' but as the 'I am that I am'.
He is infinite and has no beginning or end.
Tell me, can you boast about your so called gods like this?
