@Emeno, as 4 d question u asked funky as to wether the 900pounds deposit to KCBC will affect ur visa app. The answer is capital NO. Even d new policy for ''highly trusted sponsor'' wont affect u cos u are applying 4 a diploma program which is at level 4 of the NQF.

Pls, did u apply and send all your documents online to KCBC or u sent them via post? Also, did u pay the 50pounds application fee or it was waived and finally, how long did it take for them to process your application? Expecting ur reply. thanks

Hello house. I complained not long ago about the passport photograph on my WAEC result that is not clear at all. Well now, i want to know if i can use my NECO result to apply for UK student visa. Does NECO have thesame value in the eyes of those ECO's as WAEC? Thanks all

@worry 246, thanks for your observation but i did my due dilligence before picking the school. It may not have the regular .ac.uk but it sure is on the list of schools registered with UK boarder agency. @ justwise, thanks for replying on my behalf before i even got the chance to. in short, thanks everybody.

@ justwise. Thank you so much for your replies. very insightful. Still on my WAEC certificate, i read in one of the posts in N-land that you can get a confirmation of WAEC result handed to you by hand (with security seal) if you use the agents that hang arround WAEC office in Lagos. What's your take on this?

@ Justwise, the school is South Chelsea College. Do you advice i ask waec to provide me with a confirmation of result or I should just let things alone as they are? Thanks

Hi justwise. I am very grateful for your advise that i should disclose my US visa denial in 2005 to the UK ECO. I just got my new E-passport yesterday, and following your advise, i made sure all personal details on old and new pasport are thesame. But i am still worried about my WAEC certificate in which my picture is not clear at all. Just as you gave me a personal experience as to how you were denied US visa in 2003 and was granted Uk visa that same year, i will like you and any other nlander who have similar issue regarding the picture on their WAEC certificate not being clear to advise as to whether it had any effect on their UK visa application status. Thank you house!

Thanks so much for your reply Justwise. Just like you advised, there is nothing much i can do about the picture on my WAEC certificate that is not clear. But regarding my question as to whether i should disclose to the ECO if i have been denied visa by the us embassy in 2005, can the house advise me more on this issue please. I will like to know with certainty if the ECO can find out if i ever applied to the us embassy as far back as 2005. Thank you all

I appreciate what fellow nlanders are doing to put folks in the right path as regards uk student visa. Please i am applying for uk visa in september but i have two unresolved issues. (1) the picture on my WAEC certificate is not clear at all. would this affect my uk study visa application? (2) i applied for visa at the us embassy in 2005 and was denied. I was advised by my agent to get a new passport since the old one has expired and claim that i have not been denied visa. he claims since my denial was in the us embassy and not uk embassy, they wont find out. please help me with answers. thanks
