Wow! What a brilliant post!!

In UTME I aimed @ 75% but got 66.75%. Admission is too competitive rah here in Nigeria; hence one needs to aim higher.

@least your message has been passed across to those who have ears. Well done, brother!

Lol #thanks bro
The cut off for this year may be 200. I also don't want to believe it, I feel what u guys feel. I think they want to increase the bar because of the new courses been created eg Food engineering
Education / Re: Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta(FUNAAB) 2014/2015 Admissions by Hassan9786: 1:19am On Jul 06, 2014
mathefaro: it'll be quite resourceful if you can help the jambites with the statistics for this year's applications into various courses
I don't know about the statistics, and most times it is fake #don't believe it. Just try to do your best. Low aim is a crime, he who aims at d sky shoots higher than he who aims at d tree. Try to shoot 80%, u can do it if u believe it. You may not score 80 but if preparations are well enough, u will score 60%. Better than someone who is aiming at scoring 40%, may drop to 25%
Education / Re: Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta(FUNAAB) 2014/2015 Admissions by Hassan9786: 8:35am On Jul 05, 2014
Scoring 40% may not get u admitted into UNAAB. Only if you picked a less competitive course, but a less competitive course before may be d most competitive this year. Some factors determine how competitive a course is eg *number of ppl that applied for the course *number of candidate unaab can admit to d course. #cos of space, lab etc. For instance unaab cannot admit more than 50 people into d dept of Computer science and 4,500 apply for d course. That makes it highly competitive, if unaab have been using 52 for d cut off, unaab may decide to increase it to 65 to reduce d number of aspirant, then they'll consider other factors eg o'level, jamb score, man know man. ##If the dept of ABG (animal breeding and genetics) is a less competitive dept b4 because they get 40 aspirant yearly while they need 70, the cut off may be pegged at 42. If d number of aspirant now is 1500, #this makes it competitive, they will increase d cut off to maybe 52, to reduce the number of aspirant. Hope I've "cleared d air" as per d putme cut-off.
For those who didn't score 200 in their jamb #pray, anything fit happen
Education / Re: Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta(FUNAAB) 2014/2015 Admissions by Hassan9786: 8:15am On Jul 05, 2014
I've noticed people are debating on d post jamb score one needs to score. Well, I'll advise u guys not to score less than 50%, u never can tell what would happen. If u score 40%, chances are you won't get your course or u may not even be admitted #I bet, unless u already picked a less competitive course eg PBST, CPT, AGAD #u may doubt. If you picked a highly competitive course eg Elect engr (EEG), Vet medicine (DVM), Civil Engr (CVE), Animal production (APH), Computer science (CSC), all COLMAS courses, don't think of scoring 45 at all, chances are u may not be admitted even when d institution decides to admit u, u may be given a course u may later regret in life #seriously, unaab get yeye course. Low aim is a crime, why should u be lowering yourself to scoring 40% #wise up guys, read HARD, it is never too late to start.
This goes straight out to jambites. U are competing with predegree students, many factors determine predites admission, d school can use their predegree exam score or putme score to admit them and d school give preference to them, so even if dem fail putme, predegree score can back them#all uni does that, not only unaab, so predites can gain admission even with 15% in putme, they may be given courses u may never think exist. That is why u might have been hearing someone gain admission with 22%, ask the person his/her course #u will weep. U won't get your desired course if u score far below d required mark eg jambite aspiring for Vet scoring 42% even if COLVET (college of veterinary medicinice) dean is ur dad, he can only squeeze u in if u score a little bit close eg scoring 54 for accounting #These are not actual marks used, just using those marks. #Moral behind this is Do not limit yourself, with God on ur side, u will make it lola Ramadan.
God bless u all on ur Academic pursuit #stay blessed

What do you mean government should stop creating new unis You mean, They should upgrade a school in Yobe for an aspirant in Kogi, then d bias on "state of origin" will erupt! You need to be checked medically.
Education / Re: More Reasons Why ASUU Must Remain On Strike by Hassan9786: 11:47am On Nov 02, 2013
You need to change no 51. NDA cannot admit even 1% of its applicants... And NDA is the most bleeped school in Nigeria. Ask their aspirant, they will tell you want you need to know
