But truth be told, he bought it for a reason and since the reason wasn't achieved, he is free to collect it. Talking about frustration, showing or not showing his frustration has nothing to do with what is happening. Saying he isn't matured is even d most annoying thing to talk sef.... It depends really on the purpose. 4 Likes |

The problem a lot of JUPEB students face is not knowing how to prepare for Jupeb examination and what they have to do to pass JUPEB exam. Firstly, when I talk about Jupeb examination, I don’t mean the “JUPEB entrance exam” because that’s like a joke, but the JUPEB final examination that will determine if you will be given admission or not. Over the years, I have come across a lot of JUPEB students and one thing is common between them, which is fear. They fear for the unfavourable outcome of the JUPEB examination which often turns out to be very good. If you want to pass the JUPEB examination, there are certain things you need to do that are very important. To see what you have to do, please visit: https://highfaculty.com/how-to-pass-jupeb/

How To Upload Videos To Opera News There is a lot of opera news users that don't know how to upload videos on the opera news platforms. So in this article, I will be sharing the various ways you can upload videos on opera news platform. Though I once had an issue of uploading videos on opera. I notice that every time I log-in to opera new hub app, I see videos from other users meanwhile, I was on able to upload videos. At some point, I thought that anyone uploading videos on opera has special opera account but it wasn't true at all. In fact, any opera news app user can upload videos on opera without any stress. However, I have also done an article on how to comment and reply to a comment on Opera News Hub because I also have that challenge when I newly joined the platform. NOTE: As at the time of writing this article, I have not seen anyone who has been paid for uploading videos. In fact, it is generally believed that opera doesn't pay for uploading videos. Step By Step Process For Uploading Videos On Opera News Hub Remember the rules of Opera News and any other platform, you are not allowed to plagiarise someone else's work. If you want to upload a video on Opera News Hub, you must upload your own video. It is wrong to upload other people's work on the platform and take credit for it. That being said, now let's see how to upload videos on Opera News In platform. STEP 1: It is important you have a YouTube channel where your videos are uploaded because you are going to be sharing your videos from there. However, if you don't have a YouTube channel, you can still upload videos. But it's better to upload videos that are yours. If you want to learn how to create a YouTube channel, you can leave a comment below and I will respond to you as soon as possible. STEP 2: Let's assume you have a YouTube channel, click on the video you want to upload on opera. Then, click on share and it will pop out different locations that you will like to share it to as shown in the picture below. STEP 3: This is not really a step, but just another information that may help you. If you are on Instagram, you can also share videos from Instagram to Opera News Hub. So, instead of having the videos on your phone, have it online and share it to opera news hub from there. That's it. If you have done that, everything else is simple. I believe this article just solved one of the major problems most opera news users are facing. Kindly leave a comment if you found this article helpful. www.highfaculty.com |

https://highfaculty.com/how-to-make-money-with-opera-news-hub/ Do you know that you can make money from Opera News? And what you make depends on you? Now, you do! A couple of months ago, I became addicted to reading opera news. And because I own a blog, I started to think of how I can also make my articles display on the Opera News Feed. This made me surf the internet and believe me, I got nothing helpful. That was how I let go until recently when a friend contacted me about Opera News Hub. He told me about the bonuses etc. one of the questions I asked was, does it go against Google AdSense policy? He said no. So I said, I am in. I asked him a lot of questions and he answered the best way he could. Though I was not satisfied. But today, I can categorically tell you what I have made from it and how opera news has helped me. You can make use of the link below to learn and see what I have made off opera news hub. https://highfaculty.com/how-to-make-money-with-opera-news-hub/ |

https://highfaculty.com/disadvantages-of-jupeb-programme/ Disadvantages of JUPEB Programme I have always wanted to write about the Disadvantages of JUPEB programme but one way or the other, at the end of the day, I always find out I did not get to write about it. Well, I am happy I have dropped procrastination outside to really write about the disadvantages of JUPEB programme. However, before I start to give these disadvantages, I want you to also have it in your mind that there are also a lot of advantages of JUPEB programme. In fact, it has very good advantages that really outweigh the disadvantages to some persons including myself. So I will advise you not to have a negative thought before and after you read this guide because it was created to give you a fuller understanding about the things you probably didn't know about the JUPEB programme. Also, before I came out with this disadvantages of JUPEB programme, I want you to know that I met with past and current JUPEB students of three major universities in Nigeria which are, UNIBEN, UNILAG and UNIPORT. They shared their experiences and challenges, to be honest, they are similar. So now, I want you to take your time, read this article and share it with your friends before you take the JUPEB programme. Just like I said before, JUPEB Programmes also have some advantages. In fact, I have also done an article on the advantages of JUPEB programme I would recommend that you go through it at your convenience. Major Disadvantages Of JUPEB Programmes and The Challenges JUPEB Students Face In this article, we are not just tackling the basic disadvantages of the programme itself, we are also involving the challenges of individual JUPEB students. What I mean is, when a student is distracted or a student doesn't read properly for an exam, that's not the programme's fault but the fault of the student. So now, let's begin with the points highlighted by the various JUPEB students I interacted with. Too Expensive Without any doubt, the JUPEB programme is very expensive. Although, not every student thinks in this direction as a lot of students do not consider the money when it comes to taking up the JUPEB programme. That is, the money isn't actually the main concern for lots of students but the main concern is gaining admission. And just like the sayings go, all fingers are not equal and also, desperate times, requires desperate measures. The money expenses aren't a problem for some persons. Now let me give you a little break down of the average expenses of JUPEB programme in UNIPORT. The average school fees for JUPEB programme in UNIPORT is #503,000 if you are paying the school fees once. But if you want to pay the school fees in two instalments, then the school fees raises to #526,000. Also, if you want to pay the school fees in three instalments, then the school fees raised to #530,000. What about accommodation? Well, the hostel accommodation is optional. But if you want accommodation, here are the fees below. For shared rooms, you pay #150,000. Also, for a self-contain or single room, you pay #200,000 and for compulsory feeding, you pay #400,000. That's for UNIPORT JUPEB. Mind you, there are other small-small payments here and there but I just want to talk about the school fees and accommodation alone. Also, for UNIBEN JUPEB, it is a bit cheaper than UNILAG and UNIPORT. The school fees of JUPEB students in UNIBEN is #200,000 for non-science students and #210,000 for science students. The school fees is paid once. UNIBEN doesn't accept school fees payment by instalments. Also, JUPEB students pay #50,000 as acceptance fee. But the programme is a non-residential so you have to get accommodation outside the school. JUPEB School Fees Without wasting much time on this particular point, UNILAG JUPEB students pay average school fees of #450,000 to #500,000. If you want to see a real break down of the school fees of JUPEB programme for other schools, check the articles below. The Fallacy or Deceit of Thinking You Are Already A Student This is actually a personal problem for JUPEB students and not the JUPEB programme itself. A lot of JUPEB students go through this challenge when they gain admission into the programme. They tend to forget that their goal and mission is to pass. Unlike students of the institution, they can get an F and still have another chance to write it again but JUPEB students do not have that privilege. Most JUPEB students tend to participate and do everything other students do. They even attend social meetings and participate in social gatherings like regular students. It is not supposed to be so. You must not forget your purpose as a JUPEB student if you want to really succeed. Learning Environment Honestly, if you have not been a JUPEB student, you may not understand this point. However, if you are a student at the university, you can have a glimpse. Majority of JUPEB students are very young and they have hardly ever experienced what they will when doing the programme. The university systems say that the main purpose of the JUPEB programme is to create an alternative admission route for students who find it hard to gain admission through JAMB. Well, that is what it seems like. But the truth is the JUPEB programme is also a medium for the schools to generate money. There is actually no limit for the number of students the school admits into the JUPEB programme so there is always these massive crowd of JUPEB students in each lecture theatre. The learning environment is not conducive at all. If it is 1000LT, then you have to come very early sometimes as early as 6:30 AM for an 8:00 AM class just so you can sit in front. If you are a student that can't cope with crowds in a learning environment, then you will really have a problem. This is why most JUPEB students just end up not attending classes but get the necessary materials and read In their hostels. Nonetheless, I usually don't encourage that. You have to be really disciplined to read in your hostel. Too Congested This is more like what I listed above. The crowd of students you will meet in a class can irritate you or even suffocate you. Imagine when students start making noise or if someone mouth is smelling close to you, it's just terrible. But that's the way the programme is. There are always thousands of students taking up JUPEB programmes yearly. And with the congested environment, some persons find it hard to concentrate or even cope. Excessive Distractions This disadvantage should be the loudest. ☺ Distraction is a major disadvantage for JUPEB students. Distractions ranging from emotional, physical to sociological. Imagine the kind of people you will meet in the programme and the activities that will be going on in the school as well. You need to be extremely disciplined to stay focused. Distraction is the reason many JUPEB students fail woefully. Some girls are distracted by boys from either fellow JUPEB students or from students who claim to be saints just to devour. Also, boys are distracted by girls. If you have never been to the university, you may not understand the level of distraction but it takes discipline to overcome. Lots of students actually don't get distracted because they always remind themselves of the reasons why they are in the programme. Too Much Lectures The lectures are too much for most JUPEB students. No school actually wants their students to fail so they try as much as possible to teach them JUPEB students. On the other hand, it depends on the lecturers. Some lecturers hardly teach or even come to class while some over teache. Inherent Fear That You May Not Pass This is one of the disadvantages that JUPEB students faces. There is always this fear within the students that they may not pass or do well. In some students, it makes them read more while for others, it kills their vibes. Sometimes because of the kind of words they hear from people and the pressure within. Well, you don't have to feel this way. JUPEB programmes is very easy and you can do extremely well if you don't allow yourself to be distracted. Ill Talks From Lectures That Threatens Your Confidence Sometimes, it is the lecturers that speak wrongly and puts fear on students. They say all kinds of things that can make JUPEB students dispirited. Some lecturers always try to mount pressure on JUPEB students because of the kind of words they use. Well, if you take this programme, try not to allow Ill talks from lecturers or students to distract you. Know yourself and read the best way you can. JUPEB programme is actually very easy. Not Getting Your Desired Course if You Do Not Pass Well This shouldn't be considered a disadvantage but based on the way it affects most students, it has to be considered a disadvantage of JUPEB programme. There is a cut off mark for every course you may want to study, and if you don't get up to the cut-off mark, you won't get your desired course. For instance, for you to study medicine, you have to score 15 points and nothing less, otherwise you won't be given the course. Most JUPEB students end up angry when they don't get their desired course but the truth is, they didn't get up to the desired cut off mark. Because in the midst of all the complaints, most students still end up doing extremely well and getting their desired course. A JUPEB student also confide in me that she is angry because she didn't get medicine that she filled even after she had scored 14 points. Well, I told her she ought to know that the cut off mark for medicine is 15 points but she said she wants medicine and can't stay any other course. Because of that, she told me she hated the JUPEB programme that they don't give you your desired course. All the same, I also met with several students that hot their desired course through the programme. Getting your desired course depends on your acquired points. If you want to know about how JUPEB point is calculated, you can click here. You May End Up Losing All Your Money if Don't Get Admitted This is same everywhere. If you take jamb form today if you don't pass, then you have lost your money. The JUPEB programme is not different. If you don't pass, your money has jakpa. Because of the enormous amount of money spent on the programme, most JUPEB students think it is impossible to fail. Well, there are people that will still fail the programme. Even if you have spent a million Naira, if you don't do what is right or required of you as a student, you will fail the programme. If you fail the JUPEB programme, there is no refunding of your money. ☺ Not All JUPEB Students Gain Admission I have discussed this disadvantage of JUPEB programme above. You are not guaranteed to pass JUPEB programme because of the amount you spent. Your effort or seriousness matters a lot. In fact, there was a guy that did UNIBEN JUPEB and was never attending classes. All he does was to come to his hostel with different girls and also go to clubs on weekends. Well, the outcome was that he failed the JUPEB programme and didn't gain admission. When he came to pack his things from his hostel because he has to go back to his parents now, he told me that the JUPEB programme is a scam. I laughed and told him he actually scammed himself. To end this topic, I will always recommend the JUPEB programmes ahead of JAMB UTME if you have the money because of the several advantages of the programme. But as a student doing JUPEB programme, you must be ready to read your books. If you find this article very insightful, kindly share on social media using the share buttons below this article. Salaries of Nigeria Professors and Lecturers 2020 Going to school is not a bad idea but after many years of going to school, if the salary is not commensurate to the years of learning, that's really not a good one. Everyone truly wants to go to school because of the importance of education. Though some persons never had the opportunity, and also some persons never really understand what is happening in school. Well, amidst going to school, something significant struck me recently which has to do with the salaries of professors in Nigeria. As a young lad, all I wanted was to get to the highest peak of degrees and also to be very rich. But I am gradually noticing that to be rich has nothing to do with degrees. In fact, wealth and degrees travel on opposite parallel lines. I want to be a professor but when I noticed the way most professors dress in Nigeria like they were the ones that invented the SUN and the MOON, I just hate the thought of being a professor. Now, putting the dressing outside, I decided to do a little research on the salaries of professors in Nigeria, what I found will really interest you. If you have ever asked any of these questions: assistant lecturer salary in Nigeria, the salary of professors in Nigeria, lecturer salary in Nigeria, professor salary in Nigeria, professors salary in Nigeria, professor salary in Nigeria university, how much is lecturer salary in Nigeria, then continue reading because your question(s) will be answered. Below is a breakdown or list of how much Nigerian lecturers is paid from lecturer II to professor level per annum after minimum wage was increased this 2020 Salaries of Nigerian Lecturers (2020) 1. Lecturer II earns N1,649,509 to N1,979,640 yearly. 2. Lecturer I is paid N2,079,996 to N2,684,010 per annum. 3. Senior Lecturer earns N3,091,505 to 4,455,506 per annum. 4. Reader earns N3,768,221 to N5,004,750 Naira yearly. 5. A Professor in Nigeria earns N4,580,349- N6,020,163 yearly. As seen from the salaries of lecturers in Nigeria above, a Nigerian professor is paid far more than the rest. In Nigeria, only a few civil servants salary could match that. Its no surprise that graduates are vying for lecturing jobs in Nigeria. Although, private universities pay higher than both state and federal universities. For private university lecturers, they are normally paid from N130,000 to N140,000 on average. For example, Covenant University, a private academic institution pays its lecturers about N135,000 to N149k depending on the level. For university of Lagos (UNILAG), its from N116,000 to N125,000 on average before minimum wage was increased this 2020. From the salary a professors earn annually, we can deduce that the average monthly salary of a Nigeria professor is 500,000. I don't know about you, but I think it's too small compared to Senator's salaries in Nigeria. Thank you. Nickshrapnel: Imagine 19-20years old persons who just tried writing jamb one and twice opting for PT... I don't think that's right. PT should be a result of a carefully made decision by a person not because of not being able to pass jamb for many teenagers. There are even programmes like jupeb, IJMB etc that don't require Jamb 1 Like |

Source Article: https://highfaculty.com/disadvantages-of-part-time-study I really had my own fair share of challenges when I took up part time programme at a University in Nigeria. How I wish anyone had told me what I was up against, it would have been better. It really wasn't easy for me. Please, before you take up a part-time study, you really have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages. Quietly read this article and when you are done, please share on social media. Thank you! And according to a study by the National Center for Education Statistics that examined part-time undergraduates who began school in 1995, 73 per cent had left school without earning a degree or certificate. Among full-time students, only 28 per cent had dropped out without a degree or certificate. Part-time students are less likely to graduate or drop out compared to full-time students. The disadvantages of studying part-time if properly checked could be a major reason some persons would prefer to attend full time studying than studying part-time. In fact, not everyone is advised to take up part-time or full-time study as the case may be because of the disadvantages. Often students choose to go to school part-time to be able to maintain a job or perform other activities while still receiving an education. Being a part-time student carries with it some unavoidable disadvantages you cannot sweep under the carpet. DISADVANTAGES OF STUDYING PART-TIME Here are a few lists of disadvantages you should consider before taking up a part-time study. 1. DISTRACTIONS If you are taking up full-time study, you should have a more focussed and balanced mind to academic activities. You have time to meet up with deadlines set up by lecturers. However, if you are a part-time student, you will have lots of unavoidable distractions. One reason most people take up part-time study is that they have other things doing which are equally very important. Such things divert the attention of part-time students. Studying with a stressed mind or divided attention doesn't help study. If you are a worker, you may find your boss is not very understanding about your course and doesn’t give you the support that you need. You may even be self-employed but the distractions aren't different at all. This is a major disadvantage of part-time study 2. LONGER TIME TO COMPLETE It will always take longer for a part-time student to graduate than for a full-time student to complete the same course load. If a full-time student takes four classes a semester and graduates in four years, it will take a part-time student taking half as many classes eight years. But in reality, part-time courses only add a single year which means the scheme is not all the same with the full-time study plan. This in its self is a disadvantage of part-time study. Also, this can result in a delay in the career advancement that a degree confers on its recipient. Furthermore, most part-time students, lose interest and have a long break in the middle of their program, or fail exams because they don't have time to fully concentrate on revision and therefore have to re-take failed courses. 3. VERY EXPENSIVE It's normally more expensive than full-time study. This range from the tuition fee to other expenses incurred during the program. To take up part-time study, you should be ready to spend more money and even more precious time. Part-time students usually have classes during weekends. This is really expensive as weekends aren't really free time for anyone. 4. SOCIAL ISOLATION One of the chief drawbacks of being a part-time student is missing out on social contact with peers. This can include personal benefits, such as making new friends, as well as professional ones, such as making new contacts among other students and teachers in your field. You can also be missing out on school activities. Also, you can't even stay in the school hostel as accommodation is not provided for part-time students. Studying part-time will almost certainly mean that you don’t feel like you are part of the class in the same way that you would if you are studying full-time. If your course is online, you may not get to know your course mates at all. And if your main aim is to get a qualification and move on, that may not be an issue, but in general, a sense of belonging will encourage you to work harder. Support from coursemates could also help spur you on in your studies, but of course, if you barely know them, this is unlikely to happen. 5. LIMITED COURSES FOR STUDY It's not all courses that accept part-time students. This becomes a disadvantage to studying part-time if the course you would have loved to study isn't available in your desired school. This is particularly true among elite institutions, which often demand that students attend full time. Therefore, part-time students have a smaller pool of programs to attend, limiting their options for the type of education they can receive. Even more, not all universities are accredited to even run a part-time degree programme. You can check out the list of universities accredited to run the part-time program in Nigeria. In Uniben, not all courses are accredited for part-time study. You can also check the list of part-time courses offered in Uniben. 6. LESS ATTENTION FROM LECTURERS This is a major disadvantage of part-time study. Part-time students are not normally giving the needed academic attention. In some cases, lecturers don't even show up to take part-time students. Most likely, part-time students may even gather for a class during weekends and lecturers won't show up. Some times, lecturers may just give excuses like attending social activities during the weekend and not show up. This is a disadvantage of part-time study. We do hope you find this article encompassing enough. Please take a little time to hit the share button to share these articles with friends. 2 Likes 1 Share
