How to Make Money with Opera News Hub

How to Make Money with Opera News Hub: Do you know that you can make money from Opera News? And what you make depends on you? Now, you do!

A couple of months ago, I became addicted to reading opera news. And because I own a blog, I started to think of how I can also make my articles display on the Opera News Feed.

This made me surf the internet and believe me, I got nothing helpful.

That was how I let go until recently when a friend contacted me about Opera News Hub. He told me about the bonuses etc. one of the questions I asked was, does it go against Google AdSense policy? He said no. So I said, I am in.

Do you know I asked him that question because I don't know how Opera News Hub work? To learn how it works, check out the article, How does Opera News Hub Work? Well, I don't know how to do interlinks here so I decided to drop the links below.

However, when he was telling me about it, all I could think of were the great ideas I could post on Opera News Hub. I was poised to add my contributions to the platforms. I saw it as a way to express myself in a legitimate way.

Sometimes, all we need to change our state is the right information with the right motivation. The world is changing fast and if we don't change with it, we will be left behind.

I don't know the category of person you fall into, but I promise that you will thank me later after reading through this post.

I will try as much as possible to convey all the information you need on this post, try to answer your every possible question, and try to make this article as short as possible.

Just stick with me as I drive you through the world of possibilities with Opera News Hub.

Let's start off by answering some important questions quickly.

WHAT IS OPERA NEWS HUB?

"The Opera news hub is a news online media platform where bloggers and content writers can get exposure to their masterpiece.

This means that content creators who choose to distribute original content in Opera News Hub, will have a unique opportunity to reach a new international audience, increase their number of followers on social media channels, and run their own online publication across the various Opera mobile products."

See, if you do not understand how it has been defined above, in simple English, opera news hub is a platform where you will write anything of your choice and submit it to be published when it is approved, it will be available on opera news for other people to read and you will be paid for the number of clicks the article gets.

This is not rocket science, just the same way you update your WhatsApp status and your Facebook timeline, that's how you just have to still update your Opera News creators account.

I know some persons will say they can't write, but the truth is everyone can write!

Debunk the thinking that you can't write.

Let go of the thought that is drawing you back.

You can write.

Education / Things You Shouldn't Do Inside The Examination Hall If You Want To Pass Jamb by highfaculty(m): 11:16am On Mar 17, 2020
Things You Shouldn't Do If You Want To Pass Jamb

Things You Shouldn't Do If You Want To Pass Jamb: Do you know that one of the easiest exams you will write as a student in Nigeria is Jamb Examination?

Well, It is.

Do you know that even the senior secondary school certificate examination is harder?

Oh yes, it is.

Amidst all your reading, you want to know what you must do when writing jamb?

Just keep reading.

I have always emphasized on the importance of time management when you are inside the examination hall.

In fact, we did an elaborate article on How to effectively manage your time doing jamb examination, you should check it out.

I keep emphasizing on time management because I have seen it play out even at the university.

Imagine a student who teaches the whole class or take tutorials for the whole class will fail the exact examination because the student doesn't know how to manage time during jamb examination.

Don't be slow. Be fast and have good accuracy.

Here are a few tips you must take to heart:

1) Read the instructions carefully before you start writing your examination.

There is a parable that says if you want to hide something from a black man, hide it inside a book.

That's true! I am talking from experience.

Please read instructions carefully ooh... Make you nor go fail because of common instructions.

When I was still in university, I did a course called creative thinking. One day, the lecturer informed us that we will be writing test on a particular day and that the test is 50% of the total course mark.

He told us to prepare very well..

Well, when I saw the questions, they were very easy. We failed to read instructions carefully and the instructions says we should answer any of the questions and that we should just write our names, matriculation number, department and level. That's all

Trust me, more than 90% of us did the opposite. And when some persons realize, the lecturer said, "if you cancel, you have failed this course"

See, read instructions always. It may just save you!

2) Ensure to attempt all questions.

Never you make the mistake of not seeing all the questions before leaving that all.

Some questions are like bonus for you. Don't miss them.

3) Don't spend too much time on a question.

My dear, please skip the questions you don't know, you will come back to them after you must have answered all the ones you know.

Don't fall victim of what happened to me when I wrote my first Jamb.

4) Be confident. Don't lose your focus.

Please never lose tour focus or confidence.

Don't be scared.

Most students get scared and lose confidence when the first five or move questions they come across, they don't know it.

Please don't lose focus. Be very courageous.

5) Face your exam.

Don't go into the CBT Centre looking around like you kept something u didn't keep.

Focus on ur exam and your my won't fail you.

6) Don't trust Expo, it will fail you.

Unless you didn't read, if you read very well and have been following my blog post on highfaculty.com, then you should have no problem.

Expo limits your brain capacity.

7) If a question looks very easy, please double read the question again, E get why!

Don't be carried away. The reason people say jamb is very hard is because the questions are sometimes tricky.

Be careful.

cool Don't make Noise. When you write, please don't make noise. Try to say everything in ur mind..

Avoid talking out loud or disturbing the peace of the CBT Centre because u may just end up attracting the presence of a supervisor who may decide to stay close to h, and if you lack confidence, you may just end up crying.

9) Answer the easy questions. Easy questions are the questions you answer and you are 100person sure without doubt that you got it.

That means you have to skip questions you don't know.

If possible, answer the questions that don't require you to calculate.

10) Pray before you start.

Never forget to pray. It is the most import thing.

Lastly, I will be very happy if you would leave a comment and help share this article.

Thanks.

Jamb Physics Hot Topics Expected 2020

Jamb Physics Hot Topics Expected 2020: This year jamb promises to be very easy if you really know what to do and how to effectively prepare for jamb examination.

Do you know that all the information you need to pass jamb this year has been laid before you?

Do you know that if you prepare well, most of the questions you will see on your examination day will be the same questions you have always practice?

A lot of students tend to exalt the Jamb examination. They fail to do what is right and also fail to do what is right at the right time.

When I first wrote Jamb examination some years ago, I may a mistake that cost me that exam because I didn't know how to effectively manage my time during Jamb Examination.

You can check out how to manage your time during jamb examination.

One painful aspect of this whole jamb preparation is that most students don't even know the importance of using jamb past questions. Please check out the importance of using jamb past questions as it is among the most important things you need for your revision.

Without wasting much time, let's come to the purpose of this article.  We have come up Jamb Physics Hot Topics Expected 2020. Though, we are not saying these are sure questions that are coming out because we do not have access to the Jamb database.

But please take these topics very seriously.

Just a quick revelation, a girl that wrote chemistry on Saturday said that she saw only two questions in organic chemistry. Well, it's very possible since the questions are coming randomly.

Mind you, yours may be different so try to read everything!

Politics / How The Ban Of Importation, Sales And Use Of Generators Can Just Be The Saving G by highfaculty(m): 9:14am On Mar 12, 2020
Honestly, I don't know how it will help Nigeria or the Nigeria people.

The Nigeria senate yesterday provided a fresh Bill To introduce a ban on the importation, sales and use of electricity generating sets.

And that anyone found guilty would upon conviction be liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than ten years.

In the Bill, Senator Bima said that the ban would exclude Essential Services.

According to him, ” The ban/prohibition of generating sets shall not include generating sets used for essential services which include: Medical purposes (hospitals and nursing homes and healthcare facilities), Airports, Railway Stations/Services, Elevators (lifts); Escalators.

Accordingly, it is proposed that the purpose of the bill is to curb environmental pollution and speed the development of the power sector in Nigeria.

On hearing about this bill, I was completely bewildered and feel bad for the old woman in my street who depends on her generator to ice her frozen foods.

Even me, I wonder how I will cope if it is finally passed into law.

Anyway, my question is, do we have to suffer before there can be any positive development in the power sector in this country?

I remember vividly when I was younger, I was told that the importers of generator sets are the reason why we don't have light in this country.

If that is true, does it mean that if this bill succeeds, they will run out of business and Nigeria will then have constant light?

We really need to see how this we unfold and hope it is for the best.

Please oh, I am talking based on where I stay in the country, light is brought only for 5hours daily and that is if there is no main pour oooh.

Because I know Lagos people think otherwise about light issue.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? IS THIS THE SOLUTION TO THE NIGERIA LIGHT PROBLEM? ARE YOU SURE THEY WILL NOT END UP IMPRISONING ALL OF US

Leave your comments below let me know what you think.

Education / What You Must Consider Before You Choose A Course To Study by highfaculty(m): 9:12pm On Sep 13, 2019
HOW TO CHOOSE A COURSE THAT FITS YOU

You may have been thinking of how to choose a course that fits you or factors to consider when choosing a course of study, and in this article, we will try to explain how to make that choice.

However, this is a very complex question that if not properly answered could mar your career choice.

For some, choosing a university course is easy, because they have known for years what they want to be when they grow up.

Though, there are also some challenges explained in how to choose a course to study.

Below are some tips that can help you narrow down your choices, to be able to come up with a course that best suits your education level and career goals.

Factors To Consider When Choosing A Course To Study

1. Course Content

Before selecting a course of your choice, research about the content in the course modules. The modules go into details about what the course entails.

2. Graduate Employment Rate

It is vital that you take a marketable course. There is nothing as frustrating as having to study for many years only to be an unemployed graduate statistic.

3.Your Interests

Choose a course based on what interests you; it will help you do well in your course and enjoy your career in the future. Many people go back to school, or change courses after semesters of study, simply because, the course is boring to them.

4.Your Aptitude

Choosing a college major also entails an assessment of your skills and talents.  You may know what you want, but do you know what you’re good at? Ideally, you should pursue a college course or choose a college major that allows you to explore both your interests and skills.

5. Your Commitment

Choosing a university course requires you to look inwards and assess your commitment to your chosen path.  Assuming that you have the issue of money and other practical considerations settled, do you actually possess the skills and the patience to go the distance?  Moreover, do you actually want to do?

6. Time

Courses are not the same, henceforth duration also differs in some instances. If you are willing to invest time in that course, then you can go for it.

7. Feedback

It is important to ask experienced person questions about university study. Some people prefer to go for career counselling, to be able to weigh their options well.

8. Your Academic Performance

There are some courses like engineering that requires a potential student to be good in certain subjects like mathematics and sciences. So before you get excited about the course, asses yourself to see if you can be able to perform well.

9. Finance

If you are self-sponsored, consider a course that will not have a financial burden on you. You do not want to be in a position where you cannot continue because of financial constraints.

10. Your Values

Do not choose a course that will force you to sell your soul. If you have a strong will against politics or religion, steer away from courses that will make you go beyond what you stand for.

Education / Disadvantages Of Part-time Jobs For Students by highfaculty(m): 9:03pm On Sep 13, 2019
PART-TIME JOBS FOR STUDENTS

Most students are very quick to take up part-time jobs while in school without considering the disadvantages of part-time jobs for students.

Like every other venture, there are two sides to working part-time while in school.

Part-time jobs in school have its disadvantages as well as its advantages which must be weighed carefully before any student should take up part-time jobs.

It's usually very common for students to look at the direction of the funds they stand to gain without thinking of the effect of part-time jobs for students on their academics.

The very truth is if you are not very careful with part-time jobs as a student, not only will you graduate with a low grade than you should have, you may end up spilling or not graduating at all.

It is very true that you will gain a lot from working part-time but you may also lose a lot in your academics.

Nevertheless, in this article, we will be discussing some of the disadvantages of taking up part-time jobs while in college.

Education / Part Time Vs Full Time Study by highfaculty(m): 5:49am On Sep 04, 2019
Honestly, students in college opt for full-time study over part-time study for almost zero reasons.

Not choosing the right study pace that best fits you can hinder your overall academic success.

Education / The Most Asked Topics In Jamb Physics by highfaculty(m): 5:16am On Aug 01, 2019
If you are a science student and writing jamb physics, it’s highly paramount that you know the most asked topics in jamb physics.

It’s true that thousands of students take jamb form repeated year after year because they keep missing out the most important thing.

Knowing the most asked topics in jamb physics will help you prepare very well for your jamb exam. It has been proven that most people fail exams, not because they didn’t prepare, but because they didn’t prepare the right way.

Like you will know, it’s not enough to score 200 in jamb, but to score far above 200 is what really matters.

Jamb Physics Syllabus

The Jamb Physics Syllabus is available by <a href="https://highfaculty.com/jamb-physics-syllabus/">CLICKING HERE</a>. Students who have seen the Jamb syllabus often get frustrated because of the large number of topics.

The 2019 Jamb Physics syllabus has 35 different topics. Although, I will encourage you to study all 35 topics so that you blast the Jamb exam. Get this now, “Efficiency is all you need”.

It is better to study 75% of the topics in Jamb syllabus to blast Jamb with ease rather than studying all the 35 topics on the Jamb syllabus and yet you can’t still answer the questions from those topics.

WHAT JAMB SET IN PHYSICS

The format given below is not in order of precedence and should not be taken as such. All topics as list below should be taken keenly if one is to do well in the next jamb examination.

Scalars and Vectors:
Scalars and vectors are one of the topics that jamb set questions from yearly. There is hardly any year Jamb doesn’t set questions from scalars and vectors.

This is why it is very important you abreast yourself with this topic and how the questions are set or asked.

Now, let’s take a look at the format with which jamb may likely ask questions from Scalars and Vectors.

(i) You might be asked to differentiate between scalar and vector quantities.
(ii) You might be asked on the various examples of scalar and vector quantities.
(iii) Know how to solve simple relative velocity questions.
(iv)Also, know how to find the resultant of two or more vectors with a different configuration of angles(0,30,60,180 degrees).
(v) Know how to resolve vectors into their component forms.
(vi) You may be given two vectors inclined at an angle and asked to find the resultant and also the direction.
(vii) You may even be given two scalar quantities and be asked to find their relativeness.

NOTE: Know the major difference between Scalar Quantities and Vector Quantities, how to resolve vector quantities etc.

Jobs/Vacancies / Reasons Why Most People Fail Job Interview by highfaculty(m): 3:56am On Jul 11, 2019
REASONS WHY MOST PEOPLE FAIL JOB INTERVIEW

In this article, you would learn reasons why most people fail a job interview. So, you are advised to read through this article carefully to learn a few things that will definitely be of help to you.

Somehow, the whole purpose and idea behind a job interview have been misspelt by most job seekers.

One of the purposes of a job interview is to help job seekers and employers learn about one another. And in this process, some job seekers tend to be too formal or too informal as the case may be.

REASONS SOME PERSONS FAIL A JOB INTERVIEW
JOB INTERVIEW: BAD MANNERS

This may seem strange but it is it a problem that needs to be addressed. There are jobs prescription and descriptions for every job. Before you apply for a job, you should know about the job description.

Smoking: You don't go to a job interview smoking if smoking isn't part of the ethics of the job. Imagine you are been interviewed and you are blowing out smoking on the executives interviewing you... it doesn't make sense and you definitely won't get the job.

Gum chewing: It is not proper to chew and pop gum while in a job interview. You may be a perpetual gum chewer and popper but you don't have to chew gum in an interview cause it may lead to a distraction and eventually you not getting the job.

Lateness: While I do claim proficiency in this department on a social level, even I’m not late for interviews. What a way to display your awesomeness, by strolling in 15 minutes late to an interview. You will not get the job.

Your Dressing: If you don’t know the dress code in your wannabe office, then you should dress up – not down. Try to look smart and pretty by dressing well. Most preferably, put on a suit and a nice polished shoe.

JOB INTERVIEW: BELIEVING TOO MUCH IN PAPER

As funny as this may seem, it is actually the truth. It is good to graduate with good grades because it is what will actually make you show up for an interview. But you see my friend, good grades won't give you the job.

Knowing a little about the practical knowledge of your wannabe job or office is far better securing you a job than the paper you have on your hands.

It has been confirmed by many employers that whenever they try to make school grade a deciding factor for their company, it is always a bad choice because they end up not getting the best man for the job.

Know what you should know.

Education / Importance Of Education by highfaculty(m): 5:28pm On May 04, 2019
The importance of education is a very interesting topic to discuss based on the misconceptions of the very idea, “importance of education.”

It’s true that most people get educated because they were asked to or forced by their parents or guardians to be educated.

There is every reason to get educated if only you know the real importance of education. As the saying goes, “it takes the brain to belong.”

I have seen and heard a lot of persons talk about education and only attribute the purpose of getting an education to financial prosperity. The yields of education aren’t all about financial prosperity even though one needs education to be rich.

The very idea of getting educated has been faulted by many owing to the fact that some erudite folks in a particular discipline in our society aren’t rich or wealthy. Education is a fulfillment.

These drives me to the question, “What is education?” Education has been wrongly presented to lots of persons and this has made the very purpose or life of education under siege.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, “Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university.” But I will say, education is the act of learning to live a good life and learning to ensure that everyone around you and in the world at large has the right to live as much as you do.

Education is not a license to be braggadocious or an opportunity to be getting in the nerves of people. Getting an education is a privilege even though it is also one’s right in some region.

There is something so many persons have refused to come to terms with which is very true judging from any standard of assessment, “all wealthy people are educated, but not all educated people are wealthy.” This has and is causing lots of debate

The importance of education cannot be explained in light words, phrase or sentence. The importance of education can be likened to life itself. Without education, it will be hard to even live on earth.

I know so many persons who have argued this that education is not compulsory for everyone and it amazes me that someone would think like that. In fact, education may not be compulsory but it’s very important.

GET EDUCATED
In all things get educated. The right to education is recognized by the government and the United Nation. In some regions of the world, education has been made compulsory up to a certain age. This is because they have come to realize the importance of education and expect everyone to get educated.

Human beings are born with some skills, sure, but most are the normal animalistic skills are to help us find food, mate and protect ourselves.

It is our knowledgeable awareness of who we are and our education in the course of our years that sets us apart from other animals.

Education is the bedrock of healthy living. Discovering who you ar

Jamb Caps Market Place

Today we will be discussing jamb market place and why you should exploit it. Too many jamb candidates have been asking about Jamb Market Place and want to know what to access it.

Firstly, do you know that you can gain admission into a University or Polytechnic you never filled to during jamb?

This is made possible through Jamb Market Place. The Market Place feature enables different Universities or Polytechnics to source for candidates who may meet their admission criteria and didn’t initially choose them.

Some institutions may specify various selection
parameters such as UTME score, State/ Local Government, Gender, preferred programmes/course of the Candidates.

This is what Jamb caps marketplace consideration is all about. Jamb checks your score, local government and course them shares with other schools.

Some of these schools now luckily consider you for admission.

Jamb Market Place
Consider Jamb Market Place like a real market where you go to buy or sell things. What am I trying to say? In Jamb Market Place, it’s not just the institution that sources for students but students can also make themselves available to institutions to consider.

This is made very flexible because a student can indicate a new course from the one earlier chosen provided it’s O’ Level result is complete and also, the subject combination earlier chosen in UTME correlate with the new course.

Furthermore, when an agreement or understanding on Admission consideration between the Institution and candidate based on Market Place operations is reached, the candidate will have to affect such by buying Change of Institution form on the JAMB Portal to be available for download by the new Institution to follow the subsequent steps in the Admission Processing.

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION IN JAMB MARKET PLACE CONSIDERATION.
When you visit caps marketplace, you will see something like, the following institutions are considering you for admission, click on accept/reject button, to either accept or reject the offer.

Please be informed that accepting the offer does not mean you have been admitted, it simply implies that you have accepted to be considered for admission by the institution.

If you don’t like the school, don’t accept. Accepting means you have agreed to be a candidate of the institution that has considered you for admission.

A candidate may Accept / Reject Jamb Market Place consideration, subject to a maximum of three (3) Market Place considerations at a time.

HOW TO ACCEPT JAMB CAPS MARKET PLACE

1. Login to your Jamb profile by clicking here.

2. Ensure to enter the correct email and password you used to register your Jamb profile.

3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dash) at the top of the page. Then click CAPS under the admission TAB.

4. If the page only shows ‘welcome’, do not be discouraged. Just click on options on your mobile’s browser and change the view of the page to ‘desktop view’. This is why it’s preferable to use a PC.

5. You’ll see some options listed at the left-hand side. Click on ‘MARKETPLACE’.

6. That’s all… You will know if you have been considered for admission in any other institution apart from your school of choice.

Feel free to share this with friends and don’t fail to let us know how you feel through the comment box.

What Is Jamb Market Place Operations

If you have ever asked the question or you are still asking the question, “What is Jamb Market Place?” Well, in this article we will explain to you the meaning of the jamb market place with practical examples.

Jamb Market Place is just a market like your everyday market but it’s only different in that it’s an admission market.

A market is a region where buying and selling take place but Jamb Market Place is a place where schools source for candidates who meet their criteria but are available in the market place due to the fact that they were not taken or given admission by their preferred institution, to be considered for admission.

Also, students who didn’t initially filled an institution or course can also source indicate interest in a school of choice.

Now, let’s answer some few questions frequently asked by candidates:

CAN A SCHOOL I DIDN’T SHOW INTEREST IN CONSIDER ME FOR ADMISSION?

Of course, yes. Like we earlier said, the Market Place feature in CAPS provides flexibility for the Institutions to source for candidates who may not have earlier chosen the institution for Admission consideration.

And these institutions may specify various selection parameters such as UTME score, State/Local Government, Gender, preferred programmes/course of the Candidates.

You don’t need to make interest before you are considered for admission by the institution, in as far as you meet the criteria of admission by the school, you will be considered. But there is reserve right to either accept or reject the consideration.

WHO WILL CONTACT ME, THE SCHOOL OR JAMB?

Jamb is supposed to contact you. Jamb serves as a middle man in the admission process to regulate the admission processes of various institutions all over Nigeria.

When the school has successfully shopped for the students considered for admission from Jamb Market Place, the list is compiled by the school and sent to Jamb who in turn makes contact with the candidates by letting them know of the Jamb Market Place Consideration by the Institutions.

CAN I REJECT THE ADMISSION CONSIDERATION OFFER?

Yes, you can. When a school considers you for admission, you are at liberty to either reject or accept the school’s request.

Meanwhile, there is a limit to the number of times you can reject offers by schools from the market place. The limit is three at a time.

If you keep rejecting the offer of institutions from the jamb market place, you will be removed from the jamb market place and not be considered further for admission.

CAN I GENUINELY APPROACH THE JAMB MARKET PLACE AND ANNOUNCE AVAILABILITY FOR ADMISSION CONSIDERATION FROM ANY INSTITUTION?

Yes, you can.

Candidates could also approach the Market Place to announce availability for Admission consideration from any institution or for any programme different from those earlier indicated during the UTME Registration, provided s/he has requisite O’ Level Results and wrote the required subject combination in the UTME.

This is to say you can’t write maths, eng, physics and chem combination in UTME and decides to approach the market place to now study law, it won’t work.

The jamb market place is not an opportunity to just choose any course but a place where you can choose a course based on your previous preferred course of study or a course that’s in line with your O’level requisite.

Nevertheless, you can still stick to your preferred course of choice.

IS IT ALL THE CANDIDATES THAT WROTE JAMB THAT IS AVAILABLE IN THE JAMB MARKET PLACE

No. It’s like having a foam you lie on in your room and asking if the foam is still available to be bought in the market. It’s not possible.

The only candidates available in the jamb Market Place are candidates that have not been given admission. Also, candidates who reject the admission given to them either because their courses were changed or for personal reasons are made available in the jamb market place.

If a school should offer you provisional admission through jamb, you are expected to either reject or accept the admission. When you accept the admission, your name is forwarded to the school to be updated on their school portal or page.

Furthermore, if you reject, you will be made available in Jamb Market place to be considered for admission by other schools.

Please note, you may also be considered by your first choice school for admission even though you have been made available in the Jamb Market Place.

But it is very unlikely most especially when your first choice school has thousands of candidates who want to attend the school.

IF A CANDIDATE AND AN INSTITUTION REACH AN UNDERSTANDING, WHAT NEXT?

When an agreement is reached, a candidate must have to buy the change of institution form to indicate interest in the institution and upload in jamb portal.

This is made available to download by Jamb Portal to the institution so they can follow up with the subsequent steps in the admission process.

Admissions of candidates can be processed instantly or in batches by Institutions.

Notes: It should be noted that the existing window for candidates to change Institution or Programme in addition to the Jamb Market Place is only made available through the e-Facility and for some time.

Education / All You Need To Know About Jamb Caps by highfaculty(m): 4:08pm On Apr 26, 2019
This is yet one of the most comprehensive articles on the internet on Jamb Caps. In this article, we will completely explain the admission process and how jamb caps operate and explain briefly the intent and purpose of Jamb Caps in details.

Jamb Caps was first introduced back in 2017/2018 session to monitor the admission process of various institutions and ensure a free and fair admission process.

There are so many aspirants and even students out there who don’t know the full purpose of jamb caps and tends to blame jamb for any admission delay or when their courses are changed.

In our world today, it is literally obvious that “a connection is more important than qualification.” This is one reason why the importance of jamb caps cannot be overemphasized in the admission process.

To drive home the above paragraph, you can meet all academic requirement and still not be given admission if your “connection” is not strong enough.

One reason why jamb caps was introduced is to monitor the admission process and ensure that there is transparency in the admission process.

Nothing hurts more than scoring very high for university admission and be denied admission because of lack of connection. Meanwhile, people with a lesser academic qualification in the same course are given admission.

THE ADMISSION PROCESS AND HOW JAMB CAPS OPERATE
Jamb Caps Step 1:
When you were registering for jamb utme, you filled details of the institutions you want to school in and it was registered in jamb database.

Also, immediately your jamb result is out whether you meet your institution cut-off mark or not, your name and result will be forwarded immediately to your preferred institutions which you filled in your jamb form.

This list of students sent to the institution determines the cut-off mark of that particular institution for that year. That is to say, there is no definite cut-off mark as most students believe there is.

Jamb Caps Step 2:
In this step, the school or institution will

This has been the concern of many candidates and even students in the past.
They have always been a question on who gives admission, school or jamb.

Some years back, some persons claimed on the internet that they were admitted by jamb but the school didn't give them admission and even told them to go and attend jamb school.

What could be the reason for that? Is it even possible?

Education / Disadvantages Of Part-time Study by highfaculty(m): 1:05am On Mar 23, 2019
A part-time study has several advantages and disadvantages which must be weighed carefully before taking up part-time study.

In fact, not everyone is advised to take up part-time or full-time study as the case may be because of the disadvantages.

Often students choose to go to school part-time to be able to maintain a job or perform other activities while still receiving an education.

Being a part-time student carries with it some unavoidable disadvantages you cannot sweep under the carpet.

DISADVANTAGES OF PART-TIME STUDY

Here are a few lists of disadvantages you should consider before taking up a part-time study.

When I was younger, I always thought within myself, “Why would anyone consider part-time study over full-time study?” It gave me serious concern and I later concluded that people taking up part-time study are rather too old.

Well, that postulate is very wrong based on my current knowledge of things now.

It may be true that some persons choose part-time study over full-time study because of their age at the time, but that’s not really the reason everyone chooses part-time study.

As much as I can tell now, part-time study isn’t really for old people neither is it for persons without financial support.

Part-time study depends largely on the career you have chosen to pursue and how you wish to excel in your given career.

Before I start off to give the very few reasons why you should consider a part-time study, let me quickly tell you what two different graduates told me.

We have received lots of messages from aspirants who want to know the required documents needed for Uniben Physical Clearance and the order with which it should be arranged.

Uniben can be very strict with the clearance process and end up stressing you if your documents are not complete or not properly arranged before you get to your clearance officer.

In some cases, some persons are not cleared and they even lost their admission. But this happens in a real severe case which I have explained in “the reason why Uniben didn’t clear a student” and withdrew his admission.

We have brought samples of the Uniben Physical Clearance Documents as used by a student in 2014/2015 academic session so you can use it to get your documents ready before your clearance date.

Documents Uniben Physical Clearance

1. ACCEPTANCE LETTER
Uniben Acceptance Letter. This is the letter you will sign and submit to Uniben acknowledging your acceptance of the Uniben Admission given to you. Without this particular document, you won’t be cleared because it means you have not accepted the admission given to you.

You can click and download the acceptance letter attached here for your perusal.

2. BIRTH CERTIFICATE

This is your birth certificate showing your age that must tally with the age on your other documents too. If there are any discrepancies in the ages in the documents, you will not be cleared and asked to fill correction form.

Education / Why Staylites Should Consider Staying Off-campus by highfaculty(m): 9:19pm On Mar 04, 2019
As a student at the university, have you considered “why you should stay off campus?” There are a lot of persons who think to stay in the school hostel is better than staying off campus, but have you considered reasons, “why you should stay off campus?”

It’s not right to only think about the disadvantages of staying off campus which is mostly security, without considering its advantages. Disadvantages of staying off campus are no match to its advantages if you really want to prepare for the outside world.

In fact, staying off campus has a lot more advantages that enhance your quick maturity into the real world than staying in the school hostel.

WHY YOU SHOULD STAY OFF CAMPUS

Lets quickly consider some reasons why you should consider staying off campus at least, from your second year:

Education / WHY A FRESHER SHOULD STAY IN SCHOOL HOSTEL AT LEAST IN HER FIRST YEAR by highfaculty(m): 7:00am On Feb 28, 2019
WHY SHOULD I STAY IN SCHOOL HOSTEL?
1. IT’S RELATIVELY SECURE
Hardly have I seen anyone who gains admission into a university and isn’t happy about it. It’s a thing of joy and it makes people feel very elated for the new level.

But I have seen lots of unhappy people at the university. This mainly is caused by a security threat received from other unscrupulous students.

When you stay in the school hostel, you are more protected compared to when you stay off campus.

The school security protects you to an extent. This is just one of the major advantages of staying in the school hostel.

But honestly speaking, whatever level you are academically, staying off campus is for the matured minds only.

WHY SHOULD I STAY IN THE SCHOOL HOSTEL
As a fresher, there is an acronym you will hear in school, “CTY” which means Catch Them Young.

Some sects wait to ravish freshers. That is what happens to freshers when they come to the university newly.

When you stay in the school hostel, you are more protected. There is a security post all around the school premises.

The school hostel provides moderation to everything. What do I mean? Well, no matter your kind of person and what you like, in the school hostel, you are constrained with everything and giving you room to study.

2. IT HELPS YOU TO KNOW THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
As a fresher who is coming to the school for the first time, you are expected to be acquainted with the school environment for your own benefit.

Being acquainted with the school environment helps you get along in school with little or no trouble at all.

Staying off campus the first year gives you little or benefit when it comes to knowing your school.

The more you know your school, the better for you in your days in school. You can also check out the things you must learn in school before leaving the university.

Though, am not trying to scare you, but there are some parts in school you shouldn’t goto at some certain times. If you stay in the school hostel, you will know about those kinds of places.

3) PROPINQUITY TO INFORMATION
As a fresher, you may be blown off balance most times by the way the school system operates.

Information is what puts you in the right position and it is what you have in your head that takes you ahead.

The school hostel gives you first-hand information about what recent happenings in school and what may likely happen next.

Staying in school hostel as a fresher helps you balance your time as compared to staying off campus. It gives you timely information and the opportunity to quickly do what is needed.

You may want to check why students prepare for an exam but still fails it.

4. INCREASES ZEAL TO LEARN
Staying in school hostel as a fresher increases your passion for learning.

There are different kinds of persons you will meet in the hostel of which some are reading enthusiast.

The number of students you will meet in the hostel and the way some are reading enthusiasts will serve as a motivation to read.

You just feel a great competitive environment for learning.

5. LESS OPPOSITE SEX DISTRACTION
This is one reason you have to stay in the school hostel till you are more acquainted with the school system.

One of the biggest distractions students face in school is the one that comes from the opposite sex. Most freshers are practically leaving home for the first time and coping with the reality of staying alone and answering your own calls is not an easy task.

Freshers get easily influenced when they meet any opposite sex that tend to show them little care or support and easily gets manipulated. You should know what I mean!

When you stay in the school hostel, you meet a lot of other students in your hostel who can help you out with no hidden agenda.

School hostel is very important. You may be thinking what difference does it make when you are no more a fresher, well, when you are no more a fresher, the anxiety and pressure you face when you come to school newly are no longer there.

This, in turn, makes it almost impossible for you to be easily deceived by gibberish postulation by any opposite sex.

6. NO TV/ ZEE WORLD
There is no TV/Zee World that could act as a distraction to you. You only get to watch TV in the common room and am not sure you are at will to change the channel as you would want because you are not the only one watching it.

7. IT HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND YOURSELF BETTER
So many freshers when they come to school first, they get so confused and don’t even know how to manage their time. Some don’t know how to manage their time when the study for an examination.

You see them getting confused about when to cook when to sleep when to rest etc. This is a really big challenge that it often affects freshers academically.

Staying in the school hostel helps you manage your time properly. Some students even go to night class and find it hard to even cope with their classes afterwards.

When you stay in the school hostel, these things won’t affect you much because you always see other students and even your coursemates to help and guide you through the rigmarole.

8. IT GIVES EASY ACCESS TO COURSEMATE
Staying in school hostel gives easy access to coursemates. This, in turn, helps you with information about what happens in your department.

It also helps you get access to study materials and probably get a reading partner or someone you can ask questions.

9. LIGHT AND WATER
It depends largely on the country where the school is located.

In some parts in Africa where there is no constant electricity, they try to provide Universities with light and water. This serves as a big advantage to while you should stay in the school hostel as a fresher.

10. EASY ACCESS TO FOOD, ATMS ETC
There are days when you may be too tired to cook, you can get food right in your hostel without having to walk out of your hostel.

This saves you time and energy. It’s also very affordable too.

These are things you don’t get off campus.

You also get easy access to the ATM at any time because it’s still within the school.

Education / Why People Fail Exam After Preparing For It by highfaculty(m): 10:42am On Feb 27, 2019
The question of why people fail an exam after preparing for it has been one a lot of persons have usually asked. And in this article, we want to give a few tips on why people fail an exam after preparing for it.

A few days ago, I go into a conversation with a girl who said, she has often wonder why some persons she knows to be really intelligent fails the same exam she passes.

She said it has left her perplexed and often wonder what the reason may be.

Well, after due research from different sources, I think I have found the reason why 90% of the people who fail an examination after preparing for it fails.

Furthermore, some persons believe passing an examination is by luck or chance. Some even said they think it’s spiritual.

HOWEVER, IF YOU BUILD YOUR THINKING THAT PASSING AN EXAMINATION IS BY LUCK OR SPIRITUAL, YOU MAY NEVER PASS THAT EXAMINATION. #FACT!
This brings me to my experience when I was in primary school, a scammer will see us kids coming from school and will approach that this is what we should do if we want to pass our coming examination.

Some times, it will even be chewing gums that he will sell to us and we will give this scammer all our money.

After our confidence has been built by this scammer, we will go into the examination hall without reading appropriately thinking we are murdering the exam only for us to see the result that we have failed woefully.

An examination was not set by spirits, I don’t know how passing it is now spiritual.

You don’t pass an examination by leaking one sweet, eating one biscuit or drinking one kind of drinks, you pass an examination by preparing appropriately for the examination.

Never you dispose of the power of good preparation towards an examination.

WHY PEOPLE FAIL EXAMINATION THEY PREPARE FOR
Some people just read for an examination without reading effectively or reading the right material. There is how to study effectively for any examination.

When you prepare for a particular examination that gave specific textbooks to read and past questions to study with, you don’t ignore such materials and start looking for foreign voluminous textbooks because you don’t find the materials interesting enough.

You don’t go about studying too much when you prepare for an examination. If you do so, it takes grace for your level of knowledge to ever reflect on your result.

If you don’t find it interesting even though it is the recommended textbooks and decides to ignore it, that’s the same way you won’t find the examination interest.

Preparing for an examination is not about reading big books, it’s not about reading every day and every time, it’s not about acting scholars in front of your friends, it’s about actually preparing for the examination the right way. You may also what to check time management during jamb examination.

There are different kinds of examinations: essay exams, multiple-choice exams, open-book and take-home exams, problem or case-based exams, oral exams etc. The way you read or prepare for these examinations is supposed to be different.

It’s like someone who is sick, every sickness has its symptoms and the way it is treated. Don’t go preparing for an essay examination like it’s an Objective Examination.

WRONG MINDSET
Also, the mindset of some persons towards an examination is so wrong. How can you be preparing for an examination and not planning of scoring everything? You are not supposed to read some parts or chapters and ignore the rest saying words like, “it won’t come out” unless you are told to. Never assume the mind of the lecturer to ever study less instead, assume the mind of the lecturer to study more.

TODAY, AFTER READING THIS FULL ARTICLE, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE FAIL AN EXAM AFTER PREPARING FOR IT. YOU WILL LEARN TO GIVE A GOOD SHOT.

1. POOR PLANNING

A lot of students do not properly plan for their studies and exams. You don’t just read without proper planning and set goals for the examination.
