NwaAmaikpe: It is a privilege to be able to afford data and contribute on forums such as this. Please you use it positively. This is a serious issue in Nigeria and all this man do is trying to hold this lying company accountable and all you do is mock him? The government/NAFDAC has probably been bribed to turn a blind eye to this deception. That it took this while for someone to do this is disheartening enough. So there is no consumer protection and the right thing to is sidon and look? Oga o! |

The journey to a stable and fair democracy with viable economy and development is rough. The almighty USA maimed, seized and stole before before they get where they are today. The US might not have been this powerful and envy of all nations what if there was no slavery. And that's up for a debate. But the point is, if what it takes for Nigeria to be great again, where all these selfish and thiefing politicians are contained to some extent, is uruhuhu type of judgment, am all for it. And by the way Justice Alfa Belgore is from Kwara state and we all know who Saraki is, so go figure. |

We have a serious problem in this country. A very big one indeed. We think the problem is the thieving or corrupt politicians/leaders, but our problem is worse. We have youths, and educated ones at that, who are supposedly the leaders of tomorrow, that stop reading before commenting or fail to follow a simple unbiased logical reasoning. PLEASE READ THE INTERVIEW BEFORE YOU COMMENT. And if you think you are too high on Oshogbo weed, please log out of Nairaland and come back when you are sobered. And, if after you read the interview without your weed distorted mind, you still cant make any sense from El-rufai's explanation or at least offer a constructive and logical argument, then this country is in for a long ride. We will all be doing this country a big favor if we start to reason like this. The man has just explained one of the core factors hindering our progress in this country and he was very logical at it. oshaosha2014: Mistake of his life? If he fails to listen to fear mongers like you? The point is, the story of women changing after traveling to US/UK is always almost incomplete. Often time the story is told only from the husband's side. And trust me, nobody has the monopoly of this experience. 1 Like |

@topic My suggestions: 1. Have your wedding in a hall and by invitation. A lot of people have suggested this. It makes sense. I know the hall is an added expenditures but you have gotta chose your battle. 2. Since your ultimate goal is for your wife to be with you, you can do just the introduction that will involve the families and go to registry with your wife and the needed witnesses. You can get the certificate and necessary pictures you will need to file for your wife's relocation. After couple of years, with your combine assests, you can come back and do the wedding the way both of you want. 3. I know one of the excuses people use is "a pastor or woli told us not to have a flamboyant wedding". Since most people are so gullible when it comes to pastor or alfa, they won't be upset if you don't invite them |

agarawu23: I just couldn't let this slide. Please OP do not listen to this person and if you have to listen or take his advice, know that the person is not talking with any fact. The fact is that you don't have to bring a woman abroad before she cheats. She can cheat even in your village. So the suggestion to go to naija to stay with your wife is just bull. A woman that cheats on her husband after traveling abroad have the tendency to cheat anywhere anyway. Also contary to what this person want you to believe that "majority" of those that relocated their wife abroad regretted it, the reverse is actually the case. Majority of individuals that relocated their wife are enjoying it or are no different than those that marries where they are based. Those that are regretting or regretted it are in minority. Don't let this person screw you up with his own experience, albeit not a direct a direct one. As much as you will be made to believe, most of these people that regretted relocating their wife abroad plays a bigger part in turning their marriages to whatever they are. Many will bring their wifes abroad but still treat them like they are still in Nigeria. He will expect the wife to cook, do laundry, take care of the kids even though they are both working the the usual 8 or 12 hrs shift. They will not say these but blame the wife when she gets tired if the injustice and decides to step out. Also most of these men cheats on their wife with thir Akatas but blame the fact that they relocated their wife when the wife reciprocate. Some men are lazy. They bring their wife abroad, watch the wife go to school and become a nurse or whatever. Meanwhile the man is still hustling with his security job. Yawa then gash when the woman started making more than the man, the transporter, himself. Is is right for the woman to change on her husband cos thean makes less than her, absolutely no. But shit we are all human ego comes with wealth. Not fair but the man should have improve himself too. Just saying. Even a horrible husband that doesn't fit to be a husband, even by western standard, will blame everything on the fact that he brought his wife abroad. Is it true that some women cheat on their husband after arriving abroad, yes. But heck that woman will cheat even if she is in Nigeria or her village. It's not the abroad thing, it is an intrinsic, personal thing. And anytime one comes to tell you about how people are regretting their wife coming abroad, ask the person about the "saint" husband whose only mistake was bring his wife abroad. Until some men start to realize that one of the sacrifice of living abroad is that you can't live just like in naija. That you lose a little bit of your patriarch power, especially when you have a wife that warrant that. May be then we will start being objective about the true reason behind why some women change after traveling abroad. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I think it's either plain stupidity or hypocrisy to separate beauty or attractiveness from loving or marrying a woman. It might not I do not marry my wife solely because of her intelligence, level of spirituality or personalities. I marry her because of her certain level of beauty and attractiveness, too. If and when that beauty, intelligence or one of the reasons i marry her is being threaten, then there will be a cause for concern. A concern this op is expressing. I don't understand the insults towards the op. His wife is changing from how he used to know her and he is seeking advice on how to deal with it. I will be concerned too. Just because the wife is becoming "born again" or acting "Godly" doesn't make it different. @Op As some people already mentioned, i wont advise you to cheat or stop loving your wife because of the "change" she is going through. An adventure i will call it. Give her some times and let the dust settles and may be she will realize or understand that you dont have to stop wearing trouser as a female or stop using make up to go to heaven. Give her time while having conversation with her about it without any malaise or aggression. She needs to understand that while she is on her adventure, she needs to fulfill and stand by her spiritual and moral responsibility towards you as her husband which i believe making you happy is part of it. 1 Like |

Soloter: 1.If a drug addict becomes a lunatic - we can then conclude that his destination is Hellfire. why? the Bible has warned us against polluting the temple of God, "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Bull crap! To say people who are insane become insane because they are not a believer of God is shallow. I wonder when people will stop reading scriptures literally? If that is true, God knows how many people will be living with demons right now. |

CityNG: Two more thoughts that came to mind on my evening bike ride: That's very true! California comes to mind. In fact, Ne-yo was forced to pay his estranged woman an "ungodly" amount of money even after DNA results revealed he was not the biological father. The whole thing is a scam 1 Like |
