Oh. What a wicked world.

I saw one on Facebook 3 days ago and I realised how evil the heart of humans can be. A mother puts her baby inside a pot on mild fire and was adding something like parboiled rice into the pot while the baby was crying heavily.

Even God is scared of human beings these days.

Nigeria is a funny country. When you think you have seen it all, they will surprise you.

With the economic situation of this country, government is still arranging marriage for people.

A man who can't sponsor his wedding, how is he going to take good care of his family.

Science/Technology / Re: Artificial Intelligence Can Now Steal Your Passwords With 100% Accuracy by HonestJOE: 4:03am On Aug 20, 2023
FarmTech:
Hacking is becoming easier day by day, and now let's explore how keyboard button presses are used for hacking.

With the help of AI you can easily be hacked by keyboard keystrokes sounds
Researchers at Cornell University have discovered a new method. They have introduced AI tools that can determine all your passwords from keystrokes. In other words, when you type, the AI can analyze the keystrokes and accurately determine your passwords with 100% accuracy.

Researchers train the AI model using keystrokes(sound) as keywords. The same keystrokes are then listened to by this AI model, which is later implemented on a smartphone.

It uses the microphone to capture the sound of keystrokes and then replicates this sound on a MacBook, accurately noting the keystrokes with a 100% accuracy rate.

The team applied the same method during a Zoom call, where they were able to determine the victim’s password by listening to the sound of their keystrokes with a 93% accuracy rate. They also conducted a similar experiment on Skype, achieving an accuracy rate of 91.7%.

While artificial intelligence has made things easier in many aspects, it has also introduced significant challenges. We now need to be vigilant everywhere in our lives to prevent hacking. To safeguard against this, you can employ various strategies, such as using a high-quality keyboard that doesn’t produce distinctive sounds. This way, the AI model won’t be able to accurately listen to your keystrokes and compromise your security.

Please, give an example(s) of a high-quality keyboard that doesn't produce distinctive sounds as you recommended?

Education / Re: I Made 4.38 CGPA And I'm So Happy... by HonestJOE: 12:07pm On Aug 15, 2023
Cooolme:
My final exams were just released, and I just confirmed my CGPA, you may be thinking why I am excited over it even though it's not first class but let me explain briefly.

Starting school at a young age, I had a tough time taking my studies seriously. I didn't pay much attention to my notes. This carried on into secondary school, where my grades were just average. I managed to score 188 in JAMB, 230 in my POST UTME, got 1b, and C's in my NECO, which I used to process my admission cos my school WAEC was withheld, and I didn't bother to retake it.

I was only 15 when I started university, a friend's candid portrayal of university life had prepared me for what lay ahead, or so I thought.

My first challenge was my roommate, a very unserious fellow. His mockery of my attempts to establish disciplined study habits took its toll on me, leading to a particularly trying semester during which I had 3 carry-overs, my worst ever.

Before the next semester began, I talked to my family about changing my lodge. They advised me to stay where I was until my second year, but deep down, I knew it wasn't right for me. So, I had to hustle up cash and with the help of my beloved aunt (RIP Ma'am) I was able to rent my own space, the best and most expensive lodge around school as at that time…

This time I will be staying alone till further notice, the GP hustle began. I would read and read, only me, as I never liked group reading or night class stuff. I began to excel academically, was a thing of joy, the last time I felt that brilliant was during my Junior secondary school days.

While I was improving my grades, I also needed to earn money. My family's support decreased because my dad was sick. So, I had to balance between learning skills for financial independence and keeping up with my studies. It wasn't easy, and I missed classes sometimes, but I kept trying. Eventually, things got better, and I was even able to buy a car last year.

But life threw a big challenge at me during the first semester of my final year, my dad passed away. I had to handle a lot of responsibilities as the first son, and to make things tougher, my uncles scheduled the burial a few days before my exams. I was sick during the exams, but I pushed through and did my best.

And now, the results are out, and I did really well. I've overcome this phase of my life, and I'm so grateful. It's not just about the grades; it's about the journey of going from struggling to succeeding. Thank God for guiding me through it all.

BSc Computer science in the bag, GOD DID!

You are a warrior bro. God bless you.

PortHarcourt1st:
It is becoming glaringly clear that Umahi borrowed and wasted billions of naira on an airport that all analysts proved wasn’t going to be viable. Today it is now clear to everyone that umahi wasted borrowed billions on ego trip project when most ebonyi people are poor, uneducated and hawking almost everywhere in Nigeria.

Poverty rate in ebonyi is over 80%. when the idea of the airport was first muted, some analysts advised that umahi should use the said funds for the project and invest heavily in human resource development and education, but he shoved it aside, today no Nigerian airline want to fly to ebonyi simply because it is a very unviable route for airlines.

What do you suggest for the present administration in ebonyi state as regards to the abandoned airport?

Why is infidelity among both sexes on the rise in Nigeria and what can be done to mitigate it?

The reason is simple. Women (most) have learnt the balling game men have been playing.. And now.., no one is left behind.

In this match Men vs Women, who is winning? It's a draw for now. But by the trajectory of things now, I bet Women Team will win at Full Time.
