Out of love i got her phone, just last night she told me i am too perfect for her that she doesn't deserve me, that she's too bad to be good.. Please what should i do

You are the perfect example of a nice guy, and that's a BIG turn off for women. I advise you dust your ass and move on. And more importantly, you need to learn this whole dating thing, please!

Travel / 5 Top Shopping Cities In Morocco by hotice20: 2:09pm On Mar 21, 2017
I have heard so much about Marrakesh and all the wonders of her snake-charmers. And if you are like me, and wanting to experience the magic of this city, below is a post I found really interesting, especially for shopaholics.

Top 5 Shopping Cities in Morocco

On a sunny day, a middle-aged man decked in a free-flowing caftan sits on a mat in an open tetragon. He is playing a fipple flute to the delight of swirling snakes, all twisting and flapping their creepy heads before a waiting crowd. A group of tourists – most of them standing a few feet away – watch in awe.

This is not the snake-infested Palo Verde National Park in Costa Rica, but Marrakech, the most culturally vibrant city at the heart of Morocco. While the world stands in applause to the wonders of these snake charmers in Marrakech or Essaouira’s soothing calm, not much is said about Morocco’s unsung status as a shopaholic’s haven. And over the years, these shopping potentials have added in no small measure to Morocco’s status as a top rated tourist destination in African.

Wondering what to buy in Morocco and where to find those delectable items that would continue to remind you of your vacation? Here are our 5 major cities to relish the best of the nation’s shopping experience.

Tangier

Just over three years ago, CNN named Tangier as one of the Top 10 African Cities worth going, and this was no fluke. In the past, this city commanded the same appeal of London and New York, particularly in the 1960s. And after years of neglect by successive administrations, the city is gradually reclaiming its iconic status as a global destination.

From its broad range of authentic keepsakes to fabrics, and vintage furniture that is reminiscent of Phillipinian fittings, you can spend an entire day shopping your choice mementos in this city.

Marrakech

The city of Marrakech not only sums up Morocco’s beauty as one of Africa’s most visited destinations, it also offers a myriad of shopping opportunities for the thousands of travelers who besiege this country annually.

The Old Medina is dotted with a maze of interlocking souks that offer incredible shopping opportunities that are difficult to resist. As you snake your way through its sprawling alleyways, there is just a single thought racing through your mind: buy this and that. Whatever you choose to do to that secret voice is up to you, but we can guarantee that it will surely be worth your every penny, especially if you enjoy bargain hunting.

Major shopping spots in Marrakech include the Babouche Souk, El-Attarine, Cherratine and Chouari. For best experience, we recommend that you opt for an all-inclusive Marrakech vacation package that not only offer these endless shopping opportunities, but also allows you indulge your senses in other major cities in Morocco. So, if you are wondering what to buy in Morocco and where best to find it, the city of Marrakech has all the answers.

Asilah

By default, the coastal town of Asilah offers everything a tourist needs to feel the pulse of Morocco inside out – from superb beaches to gorgeous sceneries, budget hotels, yummy foods and culture. But its array of shopping opportunities are a feature not to be missed. Though small and easily navigable, Asilah houses the best of fabrics and a rich collection of imported items – ranging from carpets to jewelries, patisserie and household needs.

This beach town, located on the Northwest province of Morocco, offers excellent biking opportunities along its nicely cobbled streets. So, here is your perfect spot to hop on a bike while you comb the beautiful city for breath-taking sights and shopping arenas.

As opposed to the rowdiness of most shopping arcades in Morocco, most souks in Asilah are calmer and ordered, especially during its market day –Thursday. You can wander peacefully around the enchanting malls in this small town and still find almost everything you want.

Rabat

This formal medieval city is a perfect blend of the old and new, the idyllic and all inspired by its photogenic skylines, serene coastlines and panoramic views that hold every photography buff spell-bound.

Its extensive alleyways bustle with markets that offer luxurious handmade items and quality merchandise. If bargaining is not your thing as a shopper, the city of Rabat is a friendlier place to shop as most merchants offer fixed prices that naturally take away the stress of haggling.

Fez

For many years, the city of Fez has continued to give Marrakech a run for the money in terms of beauty and charm. And beyond the imposing architecture and landmarks of this laid-back destination, Fez offers tourists an extraordinary shopping experience. Little wonder, tourists who storm this town for its many attractions often end up spending more of their stay generally browsing the medina for specialist products and great bargains.

In a distinct section of the souks, you will be treated to the sound of coppersmiths molding copper cauldrons and smell of dyed leather, fresh wood; all signaling your proximity to the tanneries. Plunge into the vibrant souks where you can find almost everything you so desire – from elegant pottery to jewelry, knitted cushion covers, shoes, lanterns, wood carvings, leather ware, brass work, carpets, scarves, and so on.
Travel / Top Holiday Destinations In Lagos by hotice20: 1:53pm On Mar 21, 2017
A group of friends and I are planning a weekend getaway in Lagos. Having stayed in Lagos for sometimes now, I have this weird feeling that there's really no place that would offer us that kick of excitement.

Someone mentioned La Campagne Tropicanna, but I feel the location is pretty too far. Do you have a Lagos destination you think will be fun to explore?

Please share with me.
Nairaland / General / Let's End Social Media Depression Now - by hotice20: 12:18pm On Mar 21, 2017
Hey fam,

I have been a little alarmed over the rising spate of suicide in Nigeria, especially the unreported cases. Quite a number of Nigerians resort to suicide on a regular basis. And while we are trying to create awareness and encourage persons suffering from depression to seek help, I have a feeling that there is a major cause of depression in Nigeria - even though I lack the data to back this up.

It's the Social Media!

Most people feel a deeper sense of loss, pain and rejection upon stumbling on a post of "slay queens and kings" who are either "chilling somewhere out of this world" or just generally trying to impress their followers with their hyperbolic claims and updates. Hence, people tend to appear way more successful and happier on social media than they truly are. That's the lie most people live.

I am taking the first step via this post to tell you - yes, you - that most of those beautiful stuff you see on social media is not real.

So, stop comparing yourself with some Facebook or IG updates. Today may be rough, but tomorrow holds far more brighter promise!

Travel Ads / 5 Reasons Why Your Visa May Be Denied by hotice20: 2:00pm On Dec 18, 2016
I stumbled on this on Wakanow blog site and thought to share for the benefit of people trying to secure a visa to some destination.

Rejection is the last thing you want to hear after investing considerable time, resources and energy into a visa application process. Below are some of the major factors that could dim your chances of getting a visa.

#1. History of refusals

If you have a history of visa refusals in the past, never apply again until you consult a trusted visa expert. The danger of not seeking professional advice is that you are likely to damage your travel profile forever. You don’t want this to happen. The truth is that no embassy would be quick to grant a travel Visa to an applicant with a history of refusals. Such applicants are often seen as desperate to leave their country and may not return.

#2. Misrepresentation of facts

This is where majority of applicants get everything into a complicated mess. Fake documents and deliberate misrepresentation of personal information or travel history only increase your chances of being denied your visa. Be honest with your answers, especially if you have been denied visa in the past. Dishonesty in situations like this could earn you a lifetime travel ban. If you are unfortunate to get a US ban, this could last forever while the UK ban lasts as long as 10 years, depending on the severity of the case.

#3. When your lifestyle is inconsistent with a visa category

Some visa applicants often burn their own fingers by choosing a category that does not tally with their lifestyle. Imagine a young man, just fresh out of a Nigerian university, opting for a visa to enjoy a luxurious weekend escape in Antigua in the Caribbean. It’s even worse when such a person has no travel history to back up their new taste for such indulgences.

#4. Slim bank account

Your bank statement is one factor that can decide the fate of your visa. Every embassy wants to be certain that you have enough in your account to sponsor your trip. Your application could be denied if the visa officer is not satisfied with your statement of account.

#5. Lack of reasonable ties at home

The visa officer wants to be sure you would return home. So, a few ties like a good job, family and properties could nullify every fear the officer might have of you. If you don’t have such ties, your visa could be denied.
The interesting thing is that most of these visa issues can be better managed by experienced professionals. Not only do they provide expert advice to prospective visa applicants, they handle visa requests with highly impressive success rates.

Travel Ads / Top 4 Travel Companies In Nigeria by hotice20: 5:40am On Oct 10, 2016
Virtually every one of us travel – whether it’s a local trip or an international tour to appreciate some of the wonders of the world. With travel fast becoming part of our culture, many travel companies have also emerged on the scene to serve the growing travel needs of the Nigerian populace.

This post seeks to guide anyone making a travel booking in Nigeria to choose the best platforms for making their bookings.

Wakanow http://www.wakanow.com/en-ng/

If you have ever done a travel booking in Nigeria – from flight to hotel and other vacation packages, chances are you already know the name Wakanow. I first encountered this company during the 2010 World Cup, and it wasn’t hard to conclude that this is a truly Nigerian brand, going by their choice of name.

The founders – Obinna Ekezie and Ralph Tamuno – did what most of us wouldn’t dare to venture in, especially in a place like Nigeria. Despite the cynicism of most Nigerians to anything online, these guys closed their eyes, counted one to ten, and started a company that has expanded to US, UK, Dubai and Ghana. There are reports that the Kenya office is already afoot. No doubt, this has remained my number one travel partner for the past two years!

Jumia Travel https://travel.jumia.com/

Most Nigerians have come to associate the name Jumia with everything online shopping. This assumption may be true, but there is more to the story. Not many people know that Jumia also boasts of a travel platform formerly called Jovago. Unlike Wakanow that provides a one-stop shop for travelers, Jumia Travel deals exclusively in hotel booking for customers. So, if you need a flight, holiday packages or visa services, you may have to look elsewhere.

Travelstart https://www.travelstart.com.ng/

This is another major travel company that does everything travel – from hotels to flights as well as ground transport. An idea which was birthed in 1999 by Swedish entrepreneur Stephen Erkberg, Travelstart is one of the major online travel companies in Nigeria.

Travelbeta https://www.travelbeta.com/

Owners of this company may be one of the newest online travel companies on the block, but what you can’t take away from them is their resolve to always provide better services for their customers. While it might be too early to judge their commitment to this promise, their approach and service so far give them away as one of the major OTAs to watch out for. How soon could that be? Only time will tell.

Well, I have used Wakanow's service a couple of times and the experience was great. I booked a trip to SA in March and from the customer service guys who attended to me to the airport pick-up and drop-off, I was really excited, more because I have used other platforms & didn't enjoy the kind of service I got with Wakanow. Well, let's wait for what their response is. I know those guys to be cool and professional.
