Is there ever any part of Nigeria without mud houses lacing it?

Lol! Funny enough, I know Ondo very well like and the place is not even a match for Ebonyi. Mudhouses are still very common and normal in many parts of the state. If you are going to Ikare Akoko through Ifon LGA, the whole stretch of the tarred road is dotted by mudhouses by the sides of the road, you lots like making empty boasts online, but the reality is a sharp contrast.

Non Ngwas hold political posts in Aba. Non Nkanu /Nike people also hold political elective posts in Enugu city, there is nothing spectacular about Lagos. If Lagos is tomorrow conquered in a war, and the minds of Awori Ijebu in Lagos and Egun people poisoned, they would also declare independent from you and accuse you inland Yorubas of having dominated them in their land all these years.
No Igbo man will claim anywhere not his hometown. Its abomination for an Igboman to be buried outside his hometown. When an Igbo man from Anambra call Aba Ngwa Igbo city, he is simply staying that Aba belongs to an Igbo clan called Ngwa.

afonjadie:
But the same Oba of Lagos said he prefers Igbo's to Afonjas in Lagos, he said Igbo's are hardworking, industrious and bring development to the city of Lagos, he also said Igbo's should see Lagos as home away from home, so you see, it is actually Afonjas that are not wanted in Lagos.

Afonja grow sense, stop embarrassing your people by publicly showing your thievery for Lagos, it embarrassing to say the least. Thieves.

I would have made sense from this, but facts wouldn't let me. I want to believe it's the same Igbo's that Fashola packaged back to the East that are now Afonja's not wanted in Lagos?
Also for records, I would suggest you go watch the full footage of the interview. The Oba made reference to the Benin's as having established some sort of influence at some points but that it was then. He made it plain that whatever influence existed was in the past and on no account should further claims be made especially, in recent times. Kindly watch the full clips and not get too assured over excepts from same interview.

Which oil do ur LGA produce? Palm oil? Irele? grin

The Ilaje or Ese Odo u are even claiming shouldn't have been part of Ondo state, if not the dabaru Obj and his cohort did back then. Kid you know nothing. Are you from Ugbo, Igbokoda, Apoi or Ayetoro? grin

Do you mean to tell me you typed this with convenience? If yes, then it was an exercise in futility. Don't always be a cynic or display high level cynism where you lack evidence. The Ilajes are from Ife, even the grade A Oba (Olugbo of Ugbo) recently alleged so. The Ilajes don't speak a dialect that is outrightly incompressible by the people of Ondo city (Ondo dialect). My pain is your trying to subvert fact. Ugbo in Ilaje is where the oil exploration takes place and no other place in Ondo state.

Quite right, There's a pattern - Itsekiri - Ijebu/Ilaje - Owo - Ondo/Ekiti

Ekiti however don't have the Bini-like melody

An hallmark of the Ekimogun people of Ondo kingdom/city, but still doesn't make us Benin. I've observed closely, the dress sense if these two sides, but hardly note the difference. The rhythmic movement, unarguably similar if not same.

@ d bolded The Ilaje's use Oma ilaje Dede
y I use Omi Iwerre Dede. Can u see d similarities ?

can u see d big difference b/w Dede and Keke used by ilaje and Ekiti People ?

This was wat am explaining earlier tat u guys keep tagging me Igbo boy.. d Ilaje dialect is entirely diff from most Yoruba language

What do the people of Ondo city use?
Answer... dede. Does that make us different from the Yoruba ethnic group? In fact, all dialects spoken in Ondo state, differ from the conventional Yoruba language. I also believe it's same with the Igbo language spoken in the S/E. I can understand an Ilaje man as he too can, even though there could be slight modifications. The closest to the Ondo dialect, spoken by Ile Oluji and Idanre, has some variations.

who are the people that are king of commercial activities
i.e importation and distribution of goods and services in lagos?

Hmmm! Ijaws of Ondo having oil. Probably, you meant other forms of oil like groundnut oil and palm oil. This I very much doubt. Crude oil is found in Ilaje(Ugbo). Even the Ijaws can't open up and claim it, because they're far apart. Next time, read up facts and don't come spewing rubbish. Get sense!

Really! You mean u just typed this shit?
There's a slight similarity in the dialect of the Ilajes, Ondo city people, Ile Oluji people, Idanres. And if you meant what you just flawed this post with, it means also, that all these dialects above are not Yorubas. Every Yoruba person is a Yoruboid by nature and right. So, the linguistics composition of a tribe within the S/W should never be hung on the premise of coreness or not. My S/W people are don't discriminate at all.

It's a big lie. We don't eat dogs in Ondo city, as they're meant for sacrificial purposes. Moreover, you don't go to our market places and find dog meat displayed for people to buy. Still in doubt? Take a visit to Ondo city this year during her Ogun festival.

How can Akwa Ibom pay 20k or are you day dreaming? I served there in 2014 (Batch A) and the state allowee was initially 6k, but was later increased to 10k, that wasn't effective. Most private schools pay a static 5k allowee while a minute number pay above 5k (in fact, really rare).
