NYSC / A Run Away Corp Member In Trouble! Please Help My Situation by idrisaleo1: 7:39am On Aug 03 |
Good day all! I need your help and would be glad to receive it. I couldn't finish NYSC when I should have, and that's seen me applying for remobilisation. I did the remobilisation some months back and the official helping me told me that I have been remobilised to Kogi. The issue I have been facing is trying refund the only payment I received before abandoning the program. I was told I can only do that through remita, and that's only possible using the NYSC platform. The questions I need help with are; 1. Do we have anyone that has experienced a similar problem and how do you handle it? 2. Do we have a corp member in Abuja that can help me enquire about this at the headquarters? 3. Is my remobilisation still valid or do I need to make a new request? 4. When will NYSC open the platform for remobilisation again? 5. I was paid for just a month that I served before abandoning the program, and my portal is showing "present" for about 7 months, how do I reconcile this? Please help me, I need answers biko. |

Politics / My Small Shop In Ilorin Was Destroyed By Abdulrazaq's Government by idrisaleo1: 12:49pm On Jul 06 |
You don't destroy those you swore to protect. No responsible government should. I was unfortunate to be one of the victims of the abuse of power in Kwara, and I regret investing my token in the state. I have had the privilege of living in a world led by reasonable people, a place where this government has had to run to for one or two emergencies. This government knows better how a society should function, but like many all across the country, decides to further impoverish its people. The sad incident that happened at Tegbesun Market earlier today should not happen in the midst of humans. I argue around friends and colleagues that Kwarans are not limited. But with what those senseless mob did today, I would have to readjust my position. To say that's an animalistic behaviour would be an insult to animals themselves. I believe they could have coordinated the whole procedure a lot better. What happens to notifying the people of the impending destruction? How about issuing out an hour notice to those that have properties on the disputed land to get their stuff? You have all the tools to make this a less damaging act, but you decided to tread the path of ultimate destruction. I'm sure you would agree with me that I shouldn't suffer from the nuisance of some thugs. No one should. Digressing a bit to being a beneficiary of good governance, I'm happy to let you know that I have been treated more like a human in Germany than in my native Kwara. Germany offered me free, quality education. It didn't stop at that, it supported me for two good years upon returning home, paying me what Level 16 officers wouldn't ever dream of earning in our blessed Kwara. And how has my state helped me? It bulldozed the little I could gather, turning it all into dust. You can't continue to treat us like a piece of rag in our state, and expect us to contribute to its development. I expect the Kwara State Government to look into this unwholesome conduct and act like any responsible government out there would. And if you choose to go the way of tyranny, I trust you wouldn't, I'm glad to let you know that there's nothing to lose for a dying man. In case you are looking for where to arrest me, I'm Idris Mohammed Idris. And I'm from Alapata, Ilorin West Local Government. May Allah reward you all with what you deserve. |

Objectivist04: Benjamin Cohen was his name, he was one of the "chosen race". He's terrorist, and a fool like yourself. You should bury your head in shame. You think anyone can eliminate close to 2 billion people? You should fear a people that believe in the bounties death brings. Anyone ready to kill all Muslims should be ready to bid farewell to earth. Israel with all the support it gets couldn't eliminate less than 1 million Hamas freedom fighters. 1 Like |

FRANELCLINIC: Your god is a useless god if he will punish me for the character of my parents, without even giving me the chance to prove myself worthy. Christianity is a religion against commonsense. There's no way you guys decide to rinse it, it will always smell of foolishness. For Christianity, "Every child was born a sinner". Thus, they will rot in hell for just being born Like, really? If I was born a Christian, I would probably look for God elsewhere because your god is just delusional for sending to hell a soul that understands not what it's doing. Jesus is god. Jesus learnt about god (himself) as a child. Jesus is the son of Mary. God impregnated Mary or in your words, begot Jesus. Illogical belief. |

safarifarms: Thanks for the contribution. I'll try the foam stuff. I dont know whether my hygrometer is the one with fault or the battery is weak. The new set of hygrometers that I bought are giving me a fairly better humidity level. I pray not to fry my eggs no more 😂 and hope for the best. 1 Like |

NIFOR responded quite quickly, a lot quicker than expected. I have been connected to an official, a really helpful man who promised to bring me some to Ilorin tomorrow. There are no discrepancies between the online price and the one he quoted. He seems genuinely helpful. I'm impressed. And thank you all for commenting. May Nigeria succeed! |

Fiscus105: Population's commission nko, even our embassies abroad? One useless official was trying to justify his inadequacies by telling me this is Nigeria ooo at our Berlin embassy.... that's when I went to renew my passport. That's a man that's been in Germany for God knows when. I was forced to ask him whether we are cursed not to be able to do anything the right way. |
