Phones / Please Do Not Ignore: Whatsapp Deadly Scam Alert On The Rise by ikenwa4lyf: 2:51pm On Jan 31, 2016
Whatsapp Deadly Scam Alert

We are all aware of the reigning "WhatsApp video Call" message going around as broadcast messages these days which will come with the WhatsApp web page link and with a message reading "Hey, I am inviting you to activate WhatsApp Video Calling. Click here to Activate --> http://whatsapp.videocallinginvite.com"..

Now I want you to know that this is just another cheap scam from some persons somewhere who came up with this virus on WhatsApp so as to get as many "private mobile numbers as possible (your mobile number). Now nobody knows what and what they are planning to do with these numbers (what good can come out of a scam anyway).

And so I plead with you (YES YOU) not to click on any link (as shown above) because IT IS A LIE AND A DANGEROUS SCAM.... As you won't be cool when you're seating somewhere and another person elsewhere is hacking and tracking you via your (leaked) mobile number.

Please pass this message to your loved ones and even to your enemies (including anyone who has sent a link of the scam to you previously) so they also can be aware of this deadly act so as not to fall for it....

AND THE RIGHT TIME TO SEND THIS MESSAGE TO OTHERS IS NOW

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Who Say They Are Rivals? Lionel Messi And Cristiano Ronaldo Reach 1000 Goals by ikenwa4lyf: 1:23pm On Jan 31, 2016
The pair (Messi and Ronaldo) are seen as the best when it comes to the game of football. Both have dominated the scene for the past 10 years, achieving feats that might seem impossible to reach, breaking and creating countless of records as they do what they know how to do best "Play Football".

Recently, Messi and Ronaldo reached a mile stone between them. Both have now racked up a total 1000 career goals following Messi's strike against Spanish La Liga title contenders Athletico Madrid, played at the Camp Nou.

Of course, no on will doubt the fact that the pair are rivals as well as their various clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid. One cannot deny the fact that both football icons push each to be on top of each other's game.

Unfortunately, Lionel Messi is seen as the better of the pair having won another Ballon d'Or to add to his collection of Ballon d'Or's making it five while Cristiano has just won it three times.

Anyways, who is better of the two, Messi or Ronaldo?

Business / Tips For Saving For Retirement by ikenwa4lyf: 10:32pm On Jan 30, 2016
Saving money can be a very daunting task. Each day we are faced with various wants and needs that require spending money. The goal of saving money for retirement is to have a backup that will be used after you retire and would be your source of income if you have a particular project at hand. Nevertheless, most people save for the fun of it, while others save for something important.

I attempted saving when I was just 19, but I ended up spending all the money recklessly. I later learnt how to save through the hard way when I had a pressing need to attend to and had no money. Trust me, it was hell lending from friends and so I decided that I must start saving which I did officially at 21.

Friends, the problem with money is that when you hold or have it you forget all what you planned to use the money to do. But when the money is not there, you could list a lot of things you could use money for. Therefore, it is always advisable to save generally (both for retirement and otherwise) because no one knows when a need or want shall arise.

Lack of saving causes one to be a constant debtor. It takes discipline, determination and sacrifice to save. Let’s face reality “Saving is never easy”, but once you can practice the techniques I shall highlight below, I see no reason why you cannot be a millionaire in the nearest future after your retirement.
TIPS FOR SAVING MONEY FOR RETIREMENT IN NIGERIA

Have a clear plan and goal: Most people don’t know that before one saves or even plans to save, they do have a target or a need they want to fulfill. It is important that you have a clear set target on what you are saving for. So, if you have decided to save some money from your salary, you decide on what purpose to use the money for. You can also write down your target so as not to forget or better still as a reminder on your phone. Plans like how much to remove from salary or earnings e.t.c fall under this category

Open one or two separate savings account far from home: depending on how much you are earning, it is advisable to open a savings account far from home. You should have a pensions account but If you are a low income earner, it is advisable to open just one savings account separate from your salary account while if you are a high income earner its best you open two separate savings accounts different from your salary account. You might use one for saving for future investments while the other for a particular project at hand. It is very important that you remove access to this savings account by not opting for an ATM card from your bank. I bet you would lose courage to walk or drive a mile just to step into the bank to withdraw such funds.

Deposit planned money into these account(s): In this stage, you can deposit the money you would like to save into these accounts. It might be a certain percentage of your earnings. I would probably advise 30% for low income earners and 30% & 20% for high income earners if you have two separate accounts.

Track your progress: This part is essential. It is very important to track your progress while saving as this would give you hope toward your written or said target. I do track my progress every two months so as to know how well and how far I have proceeded in saving toward my goal. At this stage, its best you give yourself a treat when progress is made at each saving stage.

Avoid reckless spending on short term gratification: Yes, this is key and with discipline, you can achieve this through self discipline and sacrifice. Limit your spending on things that satisfy you immediately putting your long term objective at heart. To achieve this, always have a budget and an amount to be spent daily, weekly, monthly as the case may be.

With these above steps coupled with determination and prayers if necessary, I wish you the best as you start saving for retirement. Listen, a man who saves, saves himself a lot of trouble.

Science/Technology / Re: Alternative To Electricity: Why You Need To Purchase A Solar Power System by ikenwa4lyf: 9:10pm On Jan 30, 2016
As seen on Nairaland

Is that one bedroom, or a one bedroom apartment? To completely power a self contained apartment, you would require a 1kWp system. I have based this on the following assumptions:

Fan - 15 hours a day
Lights - 4 in number - 3 hours a day each
TV - 6 hours viewing a day
Fridge - 24 hours

This system would give you 24 hours a day of energy, on the assumption that there is ZERO PHCN supply. With PHCN, you will require less than this.

We currently retail our 1kWp system for N700k, inclusive of -

4 x 250watt Mono Solar Panels
2KVA Inverter
Complete Wiring
2 x 12V 200AH Batteries
Solar Charge Controller (protects your batteries from overcharging, therefore extends their useful life to 5 years)
Full Installation

I hope this answers your question.

Science/Technology / Alternative To Electricity: Why You Need To Purchase A Solar Power System by ikenwa4lyf: 10:57am On Jan 30, 2016
Solar Power System In Nigeria- Nigeria’s Best Form Of Energy

There is need of having a solar power system in Nigeria as an alternative to electricity. This is because solar energy can be harnessed in Nigeria due to the availability of sun light in the country.

In our world today, especially in Nigeria where the issue of the supply of electricity is a recurrent issue, one is forced to look for an alternative means to produce electricity. Perhaps, you would want to consider using a generator set which is fair but the noise it emanates and the repairs it would cost, plus the increase of price in fuel might not bring the desired comfort you seek.

However, if you are looking for an alternative but convenient and reliable energy source to minimize expenses on electricity bills at your home or in your office, you should do an extensive research on solar power systems before spending your money on it because they are the best when it comes to saving on electricity bills and can serve as a permanent source to generate electricity.

High quality solar panels are durable with long lasting lifespan if not damaged or used carelessly but due to frequent charging and discharging, you might be required to change batteries which as we know, losses its charge overtime. Through this article, I shall list below, the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing a solar power system.

Advantages of Purchasing a Solar Power System In Nigeria

1. On the long run, using solar energy will save you a lot of money as you would not need to pay monthly or yearly electricity bills, buy fuel for your generator set e.t.c.
2. Health wise, solar energy is the best as it causes no pollution whatsoever. Ordinary generating sets are prone to disturb due to the noise and smoke it emits which are harmful to health but solar power system are not noisy neither does it emit carbon
3. You get to produce and own your source of electricity which lasts forever as long as the sun continues shining in the sky and can also be used at night after the batteries are charged during the day.
4. Maintaining a solar powered system requires minimal effort as there are no cabrators, plugs and other mechanized parts to service regularly.

Disadvantages of Purchasing a Solar Power System In Nigeria

1. Solar panels are expensive to setup or install at first.
2. Due to low sunlight in some parts of the world, installing a solar power system might not be as efficient as it is in countries with high exposure to sunlight.
3. Batteries used by solar power system loose its potentials time to time as continuous charge and discharge will cause the battery to wear out and would need replacement.

If you have other suggestions or question on solar power systems in Nigeria, you can comment below

NYSC / NYSC Orientation Camp: All You Need To Know, Preparation And Requirements by ikenwa4lyf: 11:16pm On Jan 29, 2016
Have you received your NYSC call up letter or has the NYSC mobilization list being pasted on your University’s announcement board and your name is on that list, I would like to congratulate and welcome you into a new reality. A reality of service to your fatherland.

I wrote this post with the experience I gathered as a youth corper and I believe it will help you understand what NYSC means, the requirements and things you would need to use at the NYSC orientation camp.

NYSC means National Youth Service Corp and it is a compulsory one year service you would have to render to your father land when you finish your Bachelor’s degree in the University. It is divided into three batches: NYSC Batch A, B, and C.

For prospective corps members. Below are few Important tips on how to prepare for service to your fatherland.
How To Prepare For NYSC Orientation Camp

The NYSC Orientation Camp programme duration is 21 full days. The 21st day is the day you will leave the camp to your PPA (Place Of Primary Assignment). Once you see your name in the NYSC mobilization list, ensure that you do the following:

1. If you are posted to a far state, especially to the northern part of Nigeria, try and find friends, who may be heading towards the same direction. This help you feel relaxed and comfortable on your trip.

2. Ensure you buy your NYSC kit early to avoid last minute rush. The prices of NYSC kit tends to increase when the news of respective NYSC batches is out. You might be wondering why you would need extra white shirts, shorts, tennis and socks at the camp. This is because the ones provided at the orientation camps are of inferior quality and are useless.

3. Get the following documents and items ready. We listed the compulsory and optional items according to their preferences.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS YOU WOULD NEED AT THE NYSC ORIENTATION CAMP
a. Statement of Result, WAEC/NECO, JAMB Admission Letter (original copies)
b. Valid School ID Card
c. Enough passport photographs about 50 copies.
d. Call-Up Letter (Please do not laminate your call up letter as you can be expelled from the camp)
e. A file (To carry the items above)

NB: You are expected to get 20 photocopies each of items A,B, and D above. It might be more or less.

As for the optional and convenience items, You would them to avoid “borrow me” syndrome. Things like toiletries, towels, sponge, provisions, bed sheet, mosquito net, cardigan and cash. Trust me, the mosquitoes and cold are not friendly. Below are the optional and convenience items

OPTIONAL ITEMS TO FACILITATE YOUR SCREENING AND STAY AT CAMP

a. Stapler, two packets of pins and office gum (You will use this as you register)

b. Three white T-shirts and shorts. As said earlier, you will be given two sets but of inferior quality.

c. Two or three pairs of socks and a white rubber tennis shoes (for rainy days)

d. Bathroom slippers, mosquito net, sponge, soap and detergent, bed-sheet and Dettol

e. Two plastic buckets (buy it in the camp, to save you from carrying much load on your journey)

f. You would need enough money like N50,000 at hand and your ATM card. That was during my time. it might increase due to the economic situation of the country.

4. Before you make your trip, make sure you phone is fully charged and maybe even keep an extra battery to always be in touch with family

5. Small rechargeable travel light.

NB To make your stay at the orientation camp smooth and more comfortable, travel to the state you were posted early especially for those posted to a far state. It is best you go the day before the camp opens as going late will make the registration stressful for you.
Things To Expect Within the NYSC Orientation Camp

As soon as you enter the gate of your various orientation camps, you will see enough uniformed men. Your screening starts at the gate. Of course, you might be afraid, but just follow orders.
1. Thorough search

Your loads would be searched thoroughly as they don’t want any weapons or prohibited items like iron, knives, bombs, etc. within the camp
2. Registration

Usually, the first registration is normally for hostel/bedspace. You would be given tags to identify with. Do not misplace your tags as they would be collected at the place where you will collect your foam. Other registrations at the NYSC orientation camp will follow. Provide all necessary documents asked of you. Strictly follow instructions.
3. Your NYSC Kits

You will be given all your NYSC kits during the registration phase. They include shirts, shorts and shoes. To avoid stealing and for proper identification, use a permanent marker to write your Code Number (CN) on them. This Code Number is your temporary ID card that you will use in your stay at the camp. Without this CN, you cannot eat the free food offered in the camp.
4. Casual Wears will not be allowed

When you get your kits, only your white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks and white tennis shoe will be allowed for the 21 days in the orientation camp. Although, there may be times where you might put on your full NYSC kit i.e the Uniform itself.
5. Regimented Programme/Parade

If you are the type that wakes up late, you would have to adjust as you would have to wake up as early as 3:30am, so as to get prepared. A trumpet wakes you at 4am. Everyone would be expected to assemble at the parade ground by 4:30am. Praises and worship for different religions (Christians and Islam) will be said.

At 7am, you have your breakfast. You can choose not to eat the food given free at the camp or go to the mammy market and eat a more balanced diet. After breakfast, you will be called out again for the series of fitness and Skill Acquisition Entrepreneurship Programmes (SAED). After the programme, your take your lunch. You will be given some time to rest before another evening parade and then, your dinner. This will continue everyday until you leave the orientation camp.
6. Your allowance a.k.a Allawe

Unless it has been increased, your first allowance will be N19, 800 which will be given to you in cash at the NYSC camp. and it will be in cash. You will also get Bicycle Allowance. This N19,800 will continue until you finish service. Some might collect state allawee, that’s if you are lucky. Spend wisely
7. Place Of Primary Assignment (PPA)

Your PPA is where you will be posted to do your work. Most Corpers will be posted to primary schools and secondary schools, few will be posted to the state capital and other places. Do not lobby or bribe anyone for your posting, especially the ladies. Just pray to God for a good PPA. Receive your PPA in good faith. After all, youths obey the clarion call under the sun or in the rain.
8. Always do your clearance

NYSC clearance should be taken seriously by all youth corp members. You would have to do this before you go home. It is very important because it registers you as a NYSC youth corper in the local government you were posted. Failure to complete your clearance before going home would see your subsequent monthly allowance/allawee not being recieved

Hope you understand the process on how to prepare for NYSC now. Share to others if you find this piece informative.

Webmasters / Hosting In Nigeria: How To Host A Website In Nigeria by ikenwa4lyf: 10:17pm On Jan 27, 2016
Have you been thinking lately that you need a website for personal needs or for business? Hosting a website in Nigeria is not a hard thing at all if you are willing to learn fast. The steps are pretty easy and quick. This article hopes to show you they easy steps and I am assuming that you have a laptop with an internet connection. Then read on.

If it happens that you do not have a laptop, you can also use a cyber café that is good but first, you need the knowledge of how to do it.
Step One: You need to buy a domain name.

A domain name is also known as a website name like yahoo.com, google.com or nigerianfinder.com. They are called domain names and this is the first thing to do.
Step Two: You Need a Web Hosting Account

You see, there is need to have both a domain name and a webhost. The host will help you store the data that you save on your website.

Your website name cannot work all by itself. You need to power it to work by connecting it to a webhost. There are many good webhosting company that offer cheap and affordable hosting plans in Nigeria. I have taken time to write about them in other articles on Nigerianfinder.

Also ensure that you did read a few review of the webhost that you want to buy. I usually test hosting packages so that I can stick to the best after a year. Compare their plans and prices and see which one you budget can afford. Do they have a great customer service? Are previous customers satisfied? So do check their review status before you pay.
Step Three: Check Your email for Hosting Details

When you pay for a hosting package, you will be sent the details for the webhost. Things like Cpanel login details, your website details, their email server details, their DNS details, the bandwidth you have received in your account, the disks space etc.

All these are very important as you will need them.

Login to the domain registrar account online. You need to go to where you bought your website name or if you purchased the domain name from the same hosting company you want to use then you do not need the steps below.

After login, then look for domain management and DNS editor

Input the Name servers information for example

Ns1.hodtingfg.com

Ns 2.hostingfg.com

Then click on save changes.

In conclusion, hosting a website in Nigeria is a good development. After pointing the Nameservers, you may wait for 24 hours or sometimes less before you website can begin to work. The reason is that most servers take some time to connect to the servers all over the world. The internet is not limited to Nigeria. You website can be viewed from any country so the changes you made will take some time to be effected.

After some hours you may now install WordPress, Joomla or any other script of you choice.

Phones / How To Identify A Fake Memory/sd Card by ikenwa4lyf: 10:43pm On Dec 21, 2015
With the high demand of smartphones, tablets and other high level gadgets in Nigeria, the purchase of getting a memory/SD card to add as an additional storage to the memory of the device is imminent.
If you have been searching on how to differentiate between a fake memory card from the original micro SD card, then you are in the right place at the right time because we shall give you a full detailed analysis on how to identify a fake memory card from the original SD card.
How to Identify a Fake Memory Card

Step 1: To know whether your SD card is fake, check for its serial number and the manufacturing country’s identity. Don’t just look at the picture only as all memory cards (both fake and original look alike)

Step 2: Perform a full format on the memory card. A full format does a deeper scan and writing to the card. If the full format fails or you get errors like “Format SD card”, you may have purchased a fake memory card or a defective micro SD card.

Step 3: Do a H2testw to detect fake SD cards. H2testw is a simple free tool used to detect counterfeit memory cards. It works mainly on computers. Download this tool in your computer. After which you connect your SD card using a card reader to your computer, follow the instructions.

If you get a feedback like this (see below), then its probably you have purchased a fake micro SD card

The media is likely to be defective.
3.8 GByte OK (8084847 sectors)
58.6 GByte DATA LOST (122921617 sectors)
Details:710.5 KByte overwritten (1421 sectors)
7.6 MByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 15630 sectors)
58.6 byte corrupted (122904566 sectors)
710.5 KByte aliased memory (1421 sectors)
First error at offset: 0x000000003cef8470
Expected: 0xeb7ac43a237c5170
Found: 0xeb7a843a237c5170
H2testw version 1.3
Writing speed: 9.24 MByte/s
Reading speed: 10.8 MByte/s

Conclusion

Invest in a good SD card. Do not go for the cheaper ones sold on the streets by hawkers. Visit trusted stores like SLOT or online stores like Amazon, Ebay, Konga, Jumia and purchase an original SD card. Remember you stand the risk of loosing important files if you use a counterfeit memory card.

Hope this helps. If you know any other method to detect a fake memory card, you can drop it in the comment section, we will want to hear and don’t forget to share this post with your friends.

Romance / Please Do Not Read Unless You Are 18 & Above by ikenwa4lyf: 9:19am On Sep 21, 2015
Please for mature minds only…

For the ladies, don’t ever think that because you give your guy all manner of romantic styles during the ‘bedmatic’ exercise, so, you have done everything for him.

Most men look beyond sexual satisfaction. They look at the extra things you can do for them to consider settling down with you.

Yes, sexual satisfaction is part of what most men needs from a woman but have you (ladies) ever thought that someone out there can be romantic than you.

For example, I tell ladies that the difference between a prostitute and a girl friend is very slim.

A prostitute is always at the beck and call of any man as far as the man can pay. But there are somethings a man will demand from a prostitute which she cannot give.

A prostitute comes for business not for care. She gets the money and hit the road. 95 per cent of prostitutes can’t take care of a guys house, they won’t even bother if the guy have eaten, they won’t also bother to know if the place the guy is getting his money is moving fine, they won’t bother to know the guys mood at the moment. All they care about is get the money and roll.

So, any girl dating a guy and refuse to show the above mentioned care is practically presenting herself as a prostitute, so if the guy eventually leaves her tomorrow, she shouldn’t complain of ‘use and dump’, because she signed for it.

Every human being needs to be pampered. Sex is good but care melts the heart. You can’t maintain or keep a man for so long with sex alone. What of if he is depressed for days and not readyfor any form of romance?. how will you show him love?.

For the men, if you think that being sexually active is all a woman needs, that means you are yet to grow.

Don’t ever think that you are the only person that have got such exceptional talent.

You mustn’t show her love through giving her all the ‘bedmatic’ styles that exists.

Your creativity on bed must be merged and synonymous with your care off bed.

There are so many other ways to tie a woman down other than displaying your sexual prowess. If you are looking for other ways to make a woman happy, try showing her real care, love and making her your best friend.

So, as a man, when you remember that your ‘girlfriend’ exists is when you are in the mood to display your sexual abilities. If you are a man and you are in this category, you need to grow up.

There is no being that needs care more than a woman.

Some guys tell me that when their girlfriend is on her period, they will stay away from her until she is free. Hey!!! Is she a intimacy gadget?

What of if she experiences painful menstruation? Don’t you you think that it’s the time to show her care.

I bet you dude, if that girl finds another man who knows the true worth of a woman and embarrasses her with care, melts her heart with love, you will become a history in her life. That is when you will know that your ‘bedmatic’ skills will not save you. It’s more of a display of strength not a display of love.

Always talk to her, show her care, share thoughts to her, give her listening ear. If she tells you her problem, show concern.

Seriously am a male chauvinist, but I can’t deny the fact that women needs to be cared for and respected.

Am open to criticisms.

Phones / An Urgent Letter To MTN by ikenwa4lyf: 9:06am On Sep 21, 2015
Dear MTN,

Let me get this straight, I will not go and re-register my line. You can fool everyone if you like, you might have fooled me before, but you would never fool me again. The only reason while you continue to pull the wool over our gullible eyes is because the NCC and consumer rights’ protection agencies are either in the vegetative state, or completely dead. How can you explain a situation where you would tell your millions of teeming subscribers to register their SIM cards and provide the necessary bio-data, only for you to wake up one morning to tell us to go and register our lines again WITH ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION? It beats my imagination and it defies not just logic, but also philosophy.

Were you drunk when you were registering our numbers? Did a malicious virus wipe your entire database? Maybe I’m giving you too much credit. You probably wrote the records in books like an ancient bookkeeper and a giant yellow rat ate them all. Whatever your reasons (or lack of reasons) may be, this is beyond ridiculous. I have always maintained an MTN line because apart from being my very first line, most of my close associates also use MTN. To some extent, the coverage is also extensive. I didn’t hesitate when the directive came from NCC to register our lines. I braved the queue, registered my line and collected my security number.

Didn’t I try enough? Looking back, I can deduce that my attachment to MTN was more sentimental than practical, as your tariffs are the highest for calls and for browsing. You send an average of 100 spam texts per day, enough to run down a Blackberry battery and more than enough to give any Osun State government worker waiting for Aregbesola’s alert, acute hypertension. Your nuisance value knows no bounds. Even Airtel that has been passed round different investors more times than a devil’s mail bag has not come up with this kind of Grade A foolishness.

What is wrong with you MTN? Don’t your customers mean anything to you? Doesn’t it bother you that Nigerians who wasted their time to register their SIM cards have to do the same thing again? You haven’t even deemed it fit to fine-tune the process. It doesn’t make sense to preserve bad experiences like these, in very much the same way that one relic of history is preserving mud huts, and stating them on an assets’ declaration form. My records are not on your database, but you remember my number when you want to tell me to text ‘YES’ to win a missing plot of land in Port-Harcourt, right? Let heavy-duty thunder rain on MTN.

I really don’t blame you. If Nigerians had run your devious, xenophobic, exploitative, heartless, opportunistic, fraudulent company back to South Africa, you wouldn’t be here making them queue desperately like migrants. What’s to say that there wouldn’t be another sham registration in the next couple of months since you guys obviously don’t know what you are doing? You blocked my line right? You have just helped me. Prior to your ridiculous directive, I had already banished your yeye SIM card to a barely functional phone. I have even borrowed the maximum permissible amount. Go ahead, feel free. It sure feels great knowing that when I eventually toss the phone into the trash-can, I won’t have to take out the SIM.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. You deserve to be sued for every fraudulent penny you’ve ever made on our shores. Thanks to other service providers for making sure that your evil dream of becoming a monopoly will forever remain a demented hallucinations. There are so many fishes in the ocean. I will not tolerate your recklessness any longer. Peace at last….This letter speaks my mind.

IamAtribalist:
cool Look here. You are a Nigerian and you are here displaying your passion for English football clubs. Arsenal you love. Chelsea you hate. When was the last time you showed passion for an African team not to even mention a Nigerian team? I have noticed a disturbing trend of young Nigerians (aka our future leaders) displaying passion for the affairs of people who couldn't care less about their existence. They are busy hyping up foreign clubs while neglecting their own home made products. How did you think Arsenal and Chelsea became big? Do you think they became big by English men supporting league teams in Brazil and Argentina? If the Europeans did not embrace and support their teams how will they become a force to be reckoned with today? But I am very conversant of the typical Nigerian mentality. You go around the world bragging about how intelligent and savvy you are but simple supporting your own league teams you will never do. A few decades from now, many of these idiots in their 60 and 70s will still be running around feeling pain, joy, sorrow and sadness over the result of a premiership league game while they will never even tune in to watch a single NL game. Keep helping another man to build his business and lets see if your children will not become slaves to his children. BUILD YOU OWN. BUILD YOUR OWN. BUILD YOUR OWN. I don talk my own. Shikena.

Don't blameme, i love my country but i love good football and Nigerian league is not offering that to me.

Sports / Hate Or Like Me But I Just Hate Chelsea by ikenwa4lyf: 2:55am On Sep 21, 2015
After the game between Chelsea and Arsenal, my friend called me and the following ensued.

Friend: Hello Chizoba, did you see scores?

Me: Yes, and so

Friend: Ntoooooor!!! We don beat Arsenal Finally. Your plan no work.

Me: After your club did ojoro

Friend: Win na win, we are the champions of England and will beat arsenal and Wenger anytime, any day.

From the above conversation, you can see the trait of a true Chelsea fan, who vomited pride as he spoke to me after winning a game with the help of the referee. I have accepted that Chelsea won but the FA has to look into this.

I am not happy writing this post but i have no choice and I am no fan of Chelsea Football Club. They beat Arsenal today in the premier league and everyone is shouting and chanting Up Chelsea! Up Mourinho as if they won the league or even the champions league.

Lets face reality, Arsenal were robbed when the referee Mike Dean gave Gabriel Paulista a straight red card. Why on earth would he do such at the heat of the game and his decision was even influenced by the demon Diego Costa who as we know is a player who is temperamental and who deserved the red.

Well, this were Mourinho’s words after the game and it just summarized and increased Wenger woes

“Where is the controversy? For me, no controversy. The game is about many different aspects, technical, tactical, emotional, physical. Normally the best team wins – we were the best team.

“We were dominant, we were controlled. Obviously let’s not be hypocritical and deny but playing with one man more is easier.

“I think I played against Arsenal 15/16 times and only once they didn’t moan. Maybe it was because they won that game. All the other matches, they have reasons for that.

“I played my first derby in September 2000 – to win a derby, emotional control. I’ve played derbies in Spain, Portugal, England, Italy and I always say the same words. You always need emotional control.”

Just imagine a coach who is pontificating about having emotional control when in reality, he does not possess it at all. The only thing Mourinho desires is just his three points and to win. He doesn’t care whether you fight, use negative tactics, just give him his three points and he is ok.

Wenger on the other side was fuming as Mourinho,s winning streak against him continues.

His words:

“I think Diego costa should’ve had a red card, I wouldn’t like to be Mike Dean tonight.
“I cannot understand this situation. Costa, twice should have been sent off. Look at the situation before the cross comes in. He hits Koscielny in the face on purpose. He makes a fuss of it and in every game he is aggressive and gets away with it because of the weakness of the referee.
“I think two sendings off for us and Costa staying on the pitch is a shame.”

Well, my advise to Wenger is just simple. Continue trying and you never know when history will favour you just like Abraham Lincoln and Buhari. But as for now it is Chelsea that rules London now and ever shall be, world without end. Wenger, sorry CECH MATE.

Fashion / Are Waist Cinchers Safe To Use? by ikenwa4lyf: 2:47am On Sep 21, 2015
Most women are more concerned with their looks, figure and size that is why they place themselves on diet and exercise to achieve the best results. Getting that perfect shape does not only involve exercise and selective diet, you also have to try out a waist cincher which helps to shape and train the waist to a particular figure so as to maintain that natural curve that Mother Nature has endowed you with. It is common knowledge that a woman looks hot when she has that figure eight curve coupled with a small waist to form the perfect body.

Believe me, if you have not tested or tried one, you should as waist cinchers are designed to train your waist, giving it the curve it was meant to have and in time make your waist smaller. This corset is made from latex providing comfort from the hip to the bust level when it is worn. Though there are different types, you only need to get the one that suits your demands. Trying the flexible latex waist cincher can be a good start as it is the best because of its durability.

What best waist cincher suits you?

Well, it depends on what you really want as this is a personal decision. We advise that you carry out an extensive research before arriving at a decision.

Experts would recommend for starters, latex cincher as it is the best waist trainer cincher. The only disadvantage is that they don’t let air penetrate the skin thereby causing heat and sweat underneath it. A good waist cincher must be able to adapt to your body shape making it stable. A good cincher that really guarantees results must be fitted from your hips to your tummy.

NB: Buy waist cincher for your actual body size and not for the size you are aiming at. Use a measuring tape to know your waist size to make the right decision in purchasing the perfect fit for you.

Rules of Waist Training

Celebrities like Beyonce, Rihanna, Kim and so on who maintain hot figures use these cinchers to get that hourglass body shape. It has been proven by science and makers of these products that within weeks of using latex waist cinchers, results are noticeable on short term especially when blended with your exercises and diet. With all that said lets delve into the rules of using a waist cincher trainer

Start using waist cincher at an early stage. The results are quicker when used at a young age from 23 upwards to bring the change effectively. The benefit of starting early is that it trains your waist in line with your development.
Start gradually, wearing it for a few hours daily (12 hours max). With time, your body would adapt to it and you will get the desired figure you crave for.

Get a trainer that is your perfect size. If you are confused, seek help from experts so as not to pick the wrong choice.

Consume less food, drink water moderately but let your meal be nutritious. You would notice with time that wearing waist trainer get you fuller with less amounts of food. Remove if you are feeling uncomfortable.

It facilitates weight loss through low consumption rate also giving a good posture so wear it for a long period, five days in a week, twenty days in a months and 240 days in a year.

Those who have difficulty in breathing should not use waist cincher.

If you feel stomach pains, shortness of breath while using the waist cincher reduce the timing of wearing it and go for a freer size, but should be fitted.

Don’t stop or give up half way. Keep record of your progress as you use it. As I wrote earlier, results are bound to be noticeable within weeks

When you get your desired structure or shape, do not stop wearing it but you can limit the way you wear it. Remember that you only benefit from it when you wear it regularly.

Romance / How To Avoid Mistakes Made By Newly Weds by ikenwa4lyf: 11:09pm On Aug 15, 2015
If you are about to get married or recently got married, I would like to say congrats and welcome you and your spouse to a whole new world, a whole new life. Do you know why? Newlyweds are like fresh students who just got admission into a university. At first, you feel so happy that you have gotten the admission and that you have arrived. But when the courses starts, the assignments, seminars e.t.c, you then tend to dislike the university and can’t wait to graduate. The same applies to marriage.

The journey of marital life can be very rosy as partners are bound to make mistakes even if they’ve made commitment to each other till death on the altar. Understanding these mistakes made by newlyweds will afford you the opportunity of avoiding them if you plan on getting married soon. Trust me, marriage is the best union ever because it is based on trust, tolerance, understanding, sacrifice and God. Below are some avoidable mistakes made by newlyweds and tips on how to overcome them.

Failing to Plan for Life after Wedding

Most couples get carried away by the wedding plans, the wedding proper and other events attached to the wedding that they forget that all these ends in just one day. Some even put all their resources for the wedding forgetting that marital life starts after the wedding fun. After the wedding, you have to live together, tolerate each other and plan your family. Couples should always plan for life after the wedding even before the wedding because couples that fail to plan, plan to fail. Though make your wedding a memorable one but do not put all your resources for the wedding.

Not Understanding what Marriage is

Some couples do not understand what marriage is all about and just walk into it as If to think that marriage is a bed of roses or an avenue to enjoy each other. Marriage is far from it. Though, there would be times for enjoyment but there are also hard times which couples have to undergo. Many couples rush into marriage and later rush out from it. The ability of couples to be able to overcome hard times and challenges are what helps in solidifying marital relationship. Before you jump into marriage, seek advice from parents, priest, pastors, or an expert as the case may be to better understand the kind of life you are about to get into.

Trying to Change your Spouse

This is one of the biggest mistakes made by couples as they think marriage will automatically change the character of a spouse. Change is something that is constant and it takes time to happen. You married him or her because of love, so give that love a chance to reign in the marriage. Love is sacrifice. Accept the way your spouse is and give him or her room for improvement. Change is never automatic as trying to change the character of your spouse immediately may hurt his or her feelings and cause damage to your marriage.

Rushing into Making or Having Children

Children are beautiful gifts from God and having children shows the fruitfulness of the marriage. The problem here is that most couples just rush into having children without giving themselves enough time to be married to each other. Enjoy and spoil yourselves for a while and plan for children because when they come, focus and attention is being shifted from your spouse to your children. They become priority which you cannot hide from. So, have fun with yourselves and decide together when it’s best to have children.

Not Being on the Same Page with your In-laws

As with most African homes, not getting along with your in-laws before and after the wedding might send the wrong message to the family of the bride or groom. If the damage has been done, be the first to extend the hands of peace because the only person who gets all the insults and blame is your spouse, who might be caught off in the middle.

Acting like You are Still Single

As soon as you were pronounced husband and wife at the altar, that signaled the end of being both a bachelor and a spinster. The parties, hanging out with friends and all sorts that happened when you were single should either be minimized or stopped as you now have a responsibility to one another. As a married person, there are behaviours that should be dropped which are no longer appropriate. Always put your spouse first before anything. Learn to do what is right so as to take your marriage to greater heights.
