When will people leave us alone? The Ikwerre ppl are Igbo group just like Anioma. Just because we are not in the SE geopolitical zone does not erase the fact that we are Igbo. I wonder how I am not Igbo yet can understand Ikwerre dialect and other Igbo dialects out there?

I think 3 Ikwerre have already spoken the truth and I am joining them to say that WE ARE IGBO.

I'm not sure whether I should feel good or bad but Thank you anyway. Not all Ikwerre think the same and I think that is the main reason why people act surprised when they get another view.

I am Ikwerre and yes Igbo so what is your point? Must we see eye to eye? Maybe because I was raised different and not even in PH so I barely see the difference between an Ikwerre and Ekwulobia. My father worked in Imo so that is where most of upbringing happened. I also schooled in Asaba town. I visited Rivers on holidays. Get over it. Yes we are similar like Asaba and Mbaise ppl. I never said we are same people but we are Igbo.
How do I know you are not Ogoni claiming to be Ikwerre?

Its funny how non Igbos concern themselves with our issues. Its quite clear Igbo land is part of ND. I am proudly Ikwerre. My people are Igbo and regardless of any controversies btwn us and the many other Igbos especially in SE when time comes for us to choose which way to go be assured we will go with the majority of Igbos.

We are the majority in Rivers and if we decide that only the Igbo will rule Rivers till end of time we will keep it that way. Practically I am saying that Rivers is 70% Igbo native speaking so who says we are not in ND?
