Romance / Re: Mention The Lies Your Ex Told You by immaculatesense(m): 6:07pm On Apr 14, 2020
Vondata:
1. She saved my number with treasure. So she could always deny that is a gal that is calling her whenever she's with a guy. (She hardly picks call and her phone is always off)

2. She told me she's going back to her Villa to meet her aunt. But I saw her with anoda guy in shoprite

3. She told me on Valentine's day that her dad will be back around 5pm. (Lies to visit her deputy bf for some rounds)

4. She promised a guy sex just cux she wants to eat d guy's 16k. Unfortunately she didn't complete d rounds she promised, d guy seized her phone and when I called d no, he narrated what happened BTW dem.

This finally led to d break up of a sweet 6months relationship.

I still miss d gal. If not for trust issue, I would have really married her. She was with me when I was very broke, humble, was very lively and pretty. I feel like going bk to dat relationship cux I haven't met a better person since I broke up. Though she has a better bf now.
More kudos to u bro...she has a better boyfriend shows ur very humble...I av a girlfriend dat fits into almost wat u described but we still together cos am still humble...whether or not I will let her go...I still do not know...cos she is most beautiful and has endured a lot...even if I don't marry her...wen I get der...I will surely treat her well whether or not we dating

You will agree with me that western education started first in the western part of Nigeria who are predominantly Yorubas, during these period of education as well as trade, most people from my side started giving their children Yoruba names as adopted names (When I asked elders, it was actually for easy pronounciation for purpose of enrolling your child in schoo and during as at that time and later become a fashion among them) just like as we now give our children English names. The same chief of staff father has first indigenous name but not widely used in their family as the Akerele become popular and the rest of the family started using it. As for the Taiwo, in my place there is actually no name for twins and even twins were been killed before it was banned. The naming of twins as Taiwo/Taiye and Kehinde was actually copied from Yoruba. We don't even speak Yoruba in my entire place as language. I also bear Yoruba name as well "Ilori" (Though not in use) when I ask my mum she told me a particular Yoruba nurse who was her caregiver told her that any child conceived when the mother has not started seeing her period after birth is named Ilori in Yoruba land which happens to be the circumstances surrounding my birth. Additionally, history has it that our ancestors do trek all the way from Igarra the present headquarter of Akoko Edo to trade in Ibadan and some other parts of Yoruba land. For now let me stop here. I would have love to be your friend.
This is really educative and well detailed...am convinced but I will do more research to confirm wat u said...but can u tell me the benin part of edo and der cultural relationship with Yoruba...cos I learnt dat d first oba of Benin is one of the sons of Oduduwa d father of yoruba

The chief of staff is not Yoruba man. So if a Nigerian man answer James Johnson he's now an English Man. I named my own son Dayo. This is not actually the platform for me to educate you more about how some Akoko Edo bears Yoruba name and how Nigerians bears English and Arabic names. quote author=Haywhysat post=87686096]'Obaseki’s Chief of Staff, Mr Taiwo Akerele'

Wow, so chief of staff ma yoruba man from Akoko Edo, make sense... And some people are still saying there aren't yorubas in Akoko Edo
Arabic and English are Nigerian adopted language which can be generally used as wish while other national languages are ethnic and tribal base...how can u bear a tribal name of both surname and first name and ur still claiming otherwise...plis educate me on how both surname and first name are Yoruba and d Akoko Edo man is not Yoruba...I want to learn history from u...am widely and wholeheartedly open..

No, the article did say he was the speaker. He was a member.
“The serving governor was alleged to have received N1, 475, 144,199.15 of the withdrawn cash for the purpose of lobbying members of the House of Representatives to convert PICOMS into an agency. The name proposed was Maritime Security Agency. The governor was chairman of the House Committee on National Security, Intelligence and Public Safety at the time and he was said to have convinced Atawodi’s PICOMS to part with the cash. The sum received was such a top secret that a former Speaker was given a “ridiculous N1million” as his share.“

He is right. Two people were made governor by the Supreme Court (Zamfara and Imo state governors) and only Zamfara state governor was a member of the representatives. From the report, the governor wasn’t serving as a governor before the Supreme Court validated his election. Otherwise his immunity wouldn’t have made it possible for them to invite him for questioning two days before the Supreme Court judgement. “He was to appear before our detectives two days to the Supreme Court judgment but he stayed away to await the verdict and avoid being detained”

The report only said that the former speaker was only given one million naira. “While going through records, detectives were able to confirm how a paltry N1million was given to a former Speaker of the House of Representatives.”
Plis read d article again...its says *speaker house of representatives* ...not just a member ooo

People won't read nor digest the information properly before mentioning Ihedioha, Uzodinma, Bala Mohammed or Tambuwal.

The serving governor (who mustn't be named) in question is Bello Matawalle of Zamfara.

Premium Times did an extensive report on this particular matter & the findings are mind-blowing ; the level of corruption in this country ehn, it'll take more than EFCC, ICPC or any other commission for that matter to put a stop. The system is riddled with too many loopholes that makes sleaze very easy to perpetrate.
Proof ur point...I still go with Tambuwal with the point dat he was a former speaker of d house of rep during dos period mentioned and he is one of the governors just vindicated by the court...plis tell me ur point...I will admit if u proof me otherwise...I always learn with points

I suspect so but they should mention his name and stop the hide and seek
No,they can't do dat until the case of the other six is sorted which robe him to be part...then they can name him for possible impeachment by the state house...remember he is a sitting governor... So,if dey shud announce him unlawfully which is an allegation against a sitting governor will be back for his government... Respected the fact that the case may not be grounded by d court...

It’s simple, from this excerpt: “We were on the case before the governor’s election was validated by the Supreme Court. In fact, he was to appear before our detectives two days to the Supreme Court judgment but he stayed away to await the verdict and avoid being detained”, the serving governor is Hope Uzodima of Imo state. He is the only Governor whose immunity started from a supreme court's judgement and not an INEC result.
Lies. .let me ask...was the a speaker house of representatives?

In as much as support the Union of the South especially the Yorubas and The Igbos. I observed so many things from the comments of the SW people both on Facebook,Twitter and here Nairaland. My conclusion is that even if I would support the unity for us to achieve the desired goals, I can Never trust a Yoruba man. There are so many inconsistent talk from their supposed leaders. No matter how angry some of them can be, you cannot discountenance the speech made by BAT and the comments that followed. Even listening to Jimi Disu gave me a glimpse of their thought process. They can Never ever be straight. Once they settle their differences with the Fulanis,be rest assured that they would start their attacks on Igbos just to show their loyalty to the North. For my Igbo people. Don't let emotions becloud your reasoning. These people are inconsistent.
