One don't need south west either to win the president. Remember AD had been in opposition. They only came on board through Buhari. A
Shagari/Ekwueme won without the southwest. Obasanjo won without them, so is Yaradua. So what are talking

Bring result for each of the elections for review. Dont just open mouth waaahh and say nonsense.
Politics / Re: Obi: Tinubu’s Victory Not God’s Plan For Nigeria by ImperialYoruba: 12:52pm On Mar 13, 2023
When asked if he would accept Tinubu’s victory as the wish of God as some religious leaders rightly claimed, he emphatically answered; “What they are actually preaching is the problem of Nigeria. The problem of Nigeria is accepting wrongdoing and what is unacceptable. That is using God’s name in vain. That is not what God is saying. God said do not use my name in vain.

Peter Obi has been scammed by pastors that called him moses, the savior. He began to believe he was doing work of God, and for reward God would give him victory.

Mmmtttcheeewww...

If Obi was moses, Tinubu was Abraham, Father of the Nations.

Can't Gbadebo go and contest in any part of Alaigbo, a governorship candidate in Lagos who can't speak fluent Yoruba, would he be communicating in Igbo with Lagos market women?

Only a Yoruba bastard will vote for Atowunrinwa Gbadebo as Lagos state governor

He was hoping with a win he can change Lagos to ibo speaking state..

Politics / Obi Has Started Consulting On His Chance As PDP Candidate In 2027 by ImperialYoruba: 10:31am On Mar 13, 2023
grin

Word is out that Obi believes his 6million votes is proof of his value as a political asset for shaping the electoral map.

He is consulting on his chance as PDP flag bearer in 2027.

In 2027 Atiku will not run, leaving the platform open for succession, and Obi believes he is best successor with a proven result and following to upset APC and return PDP to power.

Some people have wondered why so soon after election? It is believed some party stalwarts in North are trying to hijack PDP early on and consolidate as main opposition in Congress.

People like you disgust me deeply. You claim to be a Yoruba yet you continue to insist you will vote a candidate who has shown deep dislike and bigotry against your so-called ethnic group even as the excellent Sanwo Olu is also running for re-election.

The only candidate you can swing behind passionately is a divisive, unproven, completely inexperienced and polarising empty barrel bjgot who hates Yorubas.

It is obvious you are Igbo so stop lying. You are the perfect example of how Yorubas have sold themselves out to double agents from the SE who wish to sabotage the Yorubas from within like you and Chinedu Gbadebo.

When Sanwo Olu wins, and the elections are over, the Yorubas will have some serious soul searching to do per why we alone in Nigeria are in this repellwnt position of having a Yoruba-hater contesting to be governor of a Yoruba State while enemies-within like you are now worryingly everywhere across the SW.

Redistricting is a first step. Ibo enclaves in Lagos must all be redistricted. That will first break their effectiveness at organizing politically. Other steps must then follow to reexamine the infiltration of ipob into Lagos commerce and treat it as a fight against terrorism.

Politics / Re: Note To Apc: You Don't Need SE Zone To Win Elections In Nigeria. See Map. by ImperialYoruba: 12:20am On Mar 13, 2023
Buhari knew no benefit will come to APC from SE, but party strategists wanted to be sure who has political strength and can dominate elections in Nigeria.

If Buhari had not intervened to stop Simon Ekpa, SE could have used him as excuse to hide their true hands. So Baba got involved and made sure all artificial and real obstacles to voting in SE were removed.

The vote in SE, and in all ibo enclaves around the country showed APC what to expect in future elections.

Here is a snapshot of that -

1. SE has zero value, stop investing campaign funds and tours in a region with zero roi.

2. Yoruba resentment was hijacked by Ibo playing christian against muslim. Redistrict Ibo enclaves in Lagos. Use land deed judgements granted to Idejo land barons to map territorial boundaries defined by customs and traditions. Keep non Yorubas out of customary districts.

3. Redistrict Abuja. As the FCT, block formations for tribal enclaves, and disallow monopoly of markets and communities by a single group.

I have been hired by a lobbyist opening office in Abuja next month, ahead of inauguration. They represent some women and children fund organizations and will be sponsoring agendas from the incoming First Lady.

A second lobbyist, based in Abuja and popular, has also approached me for some work at NASS. Their job is lobbying at committee levels to influence bills.

I am unsure which one to grab, both pay well.

Do you want one of these, or would you rather protest against us on the streets grin

You’re either being deceitful or presumptuous to assume that crooked politician who doesn’t know his left from his right ‘won’ the last presidential elections! Have you lot no shame!? Tinubus’ modus operandi, right from his time as governor, is to threaten, bully, murder, rig or buy his way to electoral ‘victory’! This is what you’re bragging about!?…This is your ‘political value’!?

Nigeria is where it is today primarily because of the bigotry, greed and lust-for-power-at-any-cost attitude of the likes of Tinubu and his rabid minions…of which you fully represent! We haven’t recovered from the one you did by assisting a monster like Buhari into power…as if that wasn’t enough, you now want to foist an unpopular Buhari pro-max on Nigerians to finish up kpatakpata! There’s a special place in hell, besides the hot furnace, already prepared and waiting for your demise….which can’t come soon enough!

How about 2015, did Buhari need SE to win? No.

2019, did APC loose when all SE votes went to Atiku? No.

2023, rejected Tinubu, did he not win the election?

In fact, we dont want you to ever vote APC again.

I said anything else na story.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Moves To Form Govt Of National Unity, Pacify South East With Senate Presi by ImperialYoruba: 10:51pm On Mar 12, 2023
Fareke:
By Levinus Nwabughiogu

Ahead of Monday meeting with the National Assembly members-elect slated at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has moved to form a government of national unity, Vanguard reveals.

Coming after the presidential election whose outcome is perceived in some quarters as controversial, the moves were ultimately initiated to calm frayed nerves around the country and reunite the people.

It was learnt that already, the President-Elect is freely disposed to the zoning of the senate presidency of the incoming 10th National Assembly to the South East to assuage the feeling of real or perceived disparity among the people.

A reliable source who craved anonymity told Vanguard that Tinubu has vowed to leave no stone unturned at ensuring that all parts of the country were embraced in his new government regardless of their political inclinations in the last elections.

The source who is a long standing associate of Tinubu further revealed that Tinubu’s cabinet will be devoid of lopsidedness or ethnic discrimination.

He added that it was one of the agenda to be discussed at the meeting with the members-elect of the national assembly.

He said that Tinubu was said to have already informed some of his proteges among the elected senators to start shopping for anyone from the Southeast as the next Senate President.

It will recalled that despite the Labour Party’s “Obidient” wave in the south east, the zone produced six senators from the ruling APC, thereby placing it in prime position for the office.

The source said that Tinubu’s preference for a South East Senate President may be made known on Monday’s closed door meeting of the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; APC Senators and Members of the House of Representatives elect at the State House in Abuja.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/03/tinubu-moves-to-form-govt-of-national-unity-pacify-south-east-with-senate-presidency/

Have they forgotten what they said to Tinubu in 2015 and 2019, when he was working with APC Chairman Oshiomhole to zone leadership positions?

They accused Tinubu of meddling in national assembly affairs and told him the choice of who leads the chambers is a prerogative of the elected members, and Tinubu or Buhari or Oshiomhole had no right selecting leaders or zoning the positions for them. Itbis the exclusive right of elected members to choose their own leaders in NASS.

Ahhh. grin grin grin
Laugh wan kill me.

Now the say Tinubu had "zoned" senate president to SE.

I am tickled. Every enemy knees shall bow to honor and praise Asiwaju of Africa, whether they like or not.

Ofunaofu:
Peter Obi won eleven States and the FCT Abuja in the last presidential election without the support of a single governor

Even Tinubu that have been regarded by his admirers as a master strategist cannot and will never in his entire life achieve this feat

Yinmu.

Obi rode the wave of peak resentment in the nation to achieve that score. On a competition run Kwankwaso would beat him at the polls, much more Tinubu.

Infact, Obi ran away from PDP exactly because of what I said, he cannot win a straight competition. Faced against Atiku, he dumped PDP. Then in LP he never competed, others were paid to step down for him.

Obi left APGA for same reason, had no drive for competition.

Tinubu lives for winning competitions. Inspite of opposition in his party leadership he won primary. Cabals put obstacles along his path, he scaled them. The whole nation resented and rejected him for muslim-muslim ticket, and he still won. Matter of fact, muslims voted three ways - Tinubu, Atiku and Kwankwaso, but Tinubu emerged winner.

Tinubu is the true maverick of the election, not Obi.

A staunch Tinubu supporter and prominent Nairaland member Batified2023 has promised to go on an arson and terrorism spree by burning igbo owned businesses in Lagos after the March 18th 2023 elections.
He repeatedly used the subject pronoun "we" meaning that a decision could already have been made by higher authorities within the APC as a party in support of this impending carnage though it has not been verified yet but we sane Nigerians pray it is not so.
We will keep you posted in the following days and weeks after the elections to know if the threat was carried out but in the meantime, we urge all security operatives to take proactive measures against this terrorist threat.

Awolowo won didnt mean Yoruba did not vote for him. Infact Shagari got more votes just in Oyo State than anywhere else in iboland.

I repeat, the NPN votes in just Oyo, beat votes for NPN anywhere in iboland. Prove me wrong.

Akinjide, Olunloyo, Abiola, Akinloye, Adeniran Ogunsanya, and many others, all in NPN camp.
