Nairaland / General / National Grazing Reserve; URGENT ACTION NEEDED by Independa: 7:27am On Apr 20, 2016
I decided to read a copy of the National Grazing Reserve Council Bill and I was surprised at what I saw.

The Bill creates a council to be chaired by a Chairman to be appointed by the president.

The council shall have the power to take your land anywhere the land is located in the country and then pay you compensation.

Your land, when taken, shall be assigned to herdsmen who shall use your land for grazing purposes. They shall bring cows to the land and you shall lose the land permanently to those Fulani cattlemen.
If you feel that the council was not right to take your land, you can go to court but before you go to court, you must first of all notify the federal attorney general of your intention to sue the council. Apart from notifying, you must get the consent and authority of the Federal Attorney General before you can sue.

So that means that if the Attorney General refuses to give his consent to the suit, you have lost your land forever to the herdsmen.

And this law, when passed, shall apply to the whole country so it means that your land in the village or anywhere is not safe.

The National Grazing Reserve Council would have the power to take away your land from you anytime they want and pay you whatever they want as compensation (even when you don't want to sell, and remember that for you to get compensation, you must have documents showing or proving ownership).

So I think that we all in the South West, South South and South East must rise up and reject this Bill. We must do all things to force our national Assembly members from passing that bill into law.

That bill is a deliberate attempt to take our lands and hand the land over to the Fulani cattlemen since it is only the fulanis that rear cattle in Nigeria.
That law, when passed, shall fulfil the directive of Uthman Dan Fodio and other northern leaders to take over other parts of Nigeria.

I implore you to use all available means to implore your senator and Rep not to pass that law.

That law will destroy Nigeria.
All over the world, ranches are established and used to rear cattle. The farmers buy land and put there cattle there. There is no country where the land of the citizens are compulsorily acquired and given to others.

This is evil, and designed to favour the Fulanis where the president comes from.
We must resist the passage of that bill into law to save Nigeria, and to protect our future generations.
Nairaland / General / China Just Scammed Nigeria And Buhari Has No Idea: Must Read by Independa: 8:30am On Apr 15, 2016
Some Nigerians are jubilating over $2b loan from China and the so called Yuan trading deal.
China wants to lend us 2 billion dollars, but they want to give us in Yuan and not the dollar itself.

They are not handling us cash, but service exchange; meaning if we want to buy iron rod, we buy it from Chinese company and they pay the company on our behalf. If we want to construct railway, they will construct it for us and take the money out of the loan. In the end, we are bound to award contracts to them, cutting out competition from others and fairplay to others (non Chinese company can’t bid or compete to reduce the cost.) They get to value the contract and determine the price, meaning they can sell something worth 200 Naira for N2000 and we don’t have a choice ‘cos it is on credit.

The worst of it is that China want us to pay back in dollars, that is not all, we are moving our foreign reserve to fake currency (Yuan) a currency that is manipulated openly by the Chinese government. Did anyone ask Lamido Sanusi what happened to some of our reserve he moved to Yuan few years ago? They sold us Yuan at 4 to a dollar, only to devalue their currency few weeks latter to 9 Yuan per $.

Many Nigerians don’t know that even Chinese company don’t want yuan, nobody want it, Chinese foreign reserve is in dollars, China is the largest holder of US bond, they want dollars by all means.

Also, China have more lobbyists in Washington DC than any other nations on earth, begging Washington politicians to always make policy in their favour, how can such country save us from USD? Has anyone asked why China hasn’t built any refinery in Nigeria?? They have the money, they want the profit, but never did it.

If China does anything against Washington interest in Nigeria, USA have too much political power over China, they will just tell them not to do it. China will continue to inflate the contract price, refuse to complete the project and deceive us further.

I don’t blame Chinese leaders for trying to scam us, I blame our leaders for not being smart enough. What do you expect when you have political hacks negotiating on behalf of Nigeria against smart professionals from China. I was thinking Nigeria political leaders will do research about Chinese lobbyists in Washington and understand the interest they are protecting before believing in Chinese version of Trojan horse.

We are the only one that can help ourselves, let’s implement true federalism system and free market. Development is a culture and not a product, we can’t buy it no matter how much money we have or borrow..

You must be living in a PARALLEL world if you think that Nigeria’s intention of being a clearing house for the Yuan in Africa means the naira will now hold steady.

If you like tie your currency with Thailand Baht or Ghanaian Cedi, the value of your currency will always have the value it deserves.

Hong Kong for instance is an administrative region of China, but guess what, its currency is firmly tied to the US dollar!

The Yuan is not automatically going to be operating independent of the dollar to boost the naira in any way.

The only thing that has happened here is that the Yuan becomes an accepted currency of exchange to facilitate direct business with Chinese people. This will not in anyway strengthen the naira but the gains will be in the avoidance of double exchange from dollar to Yuan.

The Yuan will swing with the wind depending on what happens to the world’s controlling currency, the dollar.

The naira will continue its natural slide as you produce and export very little and even your trade with China becomes very expensive as the world’s comparative exchange rate will not wait for the Naira/Yuan pretend marriage. The value of the naira will continue to be subject to the international exchange rate, which is controlled by and inextricably linked to (you guessed it?) the DOLLAR!
The silly idea that this arrangement could crash the dollar is only palatable to people living in a cocoon, in a cuckoo land (Nigeria), with a totally warped sense of reality.

The real winners here are the Chinese who have found another place to ship their milling population to recolonise on the cheap.

Nigeria has taken the path of double parallel which will be unsustainable in the medium term as a consumer nation.

The naira will continue to fall unless you can sell more oil or start exporting something the rest of the world would pay you for.

My projection for the naira is 500 to $1 by year end if the oil price does not improve drastically and we sell oil, the only thing we ‘produce’.

Nairaland / General / Ben Murray Bruce On Quota System by Independa: 9:53pm On Apr 10, 2016
I was looking at cut off marks for students from different states. What I saw is nothing short of legalized discrimination #MeritNotQuota

How can one state have a cut off mark of 20 and another has 136 in the same country. Can we progress with such injustice? #MeritNotQuota

If after 40 years of practicing quota system a state still has cut off Mark of 20 isn't that proof quota is not working? #MeritNotQuota

We want unity in Nigeria. As long as we retain quota systems, there'll be resentments amongst Nigerian which fuels disunity #MeritNotQuota

Before we had quota, Saudi Arabia's royal family came to the University College Hospital, Ibadan for treatment in the 60s #MeritNotQuota

After we implemented quota system, our leaders began to go to Saudi Arabia for treatment. The facts speak for themselves #MeritNotQuota

Leaders who promote quota should do us a favor and allow a quota system doctor operate on them next time they need surgery #MeritNotQuota

As long as quota system of entry into schools & jobs doesn't change, Nigeria won't change much, no matter who is president #MeritNotWuota

If we want progress in Nigeria, we must remove every social injustice and ensure a level playing ground for all Nigerians #MeritNotQuota

Look at our private sector. The reason private enterprise is doing so well is because of merit not quota #MeritNotQuota

It is an insult to call people educationally backward. I have 1017 staff from all over Nigeria. They are all brilliant #MeritNotQuota

Nairaland / General / Alert: Islamization Of Our Children by Independa: 5:10am On Apr 01, 2016
NEW SCHOOL CURRICULUM: Islamization of Nigeria. YOUR CHILD IS TO BE TAUGHT JESUS DID NOT DIE NOR RESURRECT AND THAT THEY CAN DISOBEY YOU IF YOU DO NOT LET THEM BECOME MUSLIM.
This is the new adopted book by the Federal Government of Nigeria wherein the Federal Government has decided to make choosing the belief system of your children and ward their responsibility for 9 years.  And in that choice the GLORIOUS QORAN is designated as Allah's Greatest Book and his Prophet Mohammed the Greatest of all the prophets, while mentioning Yisa aka Jesus as also a prophet that did not die for anyone's sins nor resurrected.
So as Buhari serpentinely sends an Easter message, there is a plot to even remove the fact that Jesus died for sins of the world (as Christians believe) from the thinking of all children from Primary 1 to JSS 3.
I Ena Ofugara will stop here and let another speak on what Christians, and moderate Muslims and all who believe in freedom of religion and that the government must STAY AWAY FROM INDOCTRINATING A MAN'S CHILD WITH THEIR PREFERRED RELIGION, should do.....MUST DO. As for me, I see Buhari pushing for an armed resistance against his government. I think he is getting prepared for that EVENTUALITY as all who try to foist religion on others have experienced through out history. NO GOVERNMENT HAS A RIGHT TO TELL YOU MOHAMMED OR JESUS IS GREATER THAN EVEN SHANGO. THAT IS NOT THE BUSINESS OF GOVERNMENT.

SAY NO TO THE NEW 9-YEAR BASIC EDUCATION CURRICULUM ON RELIGIOUS STUDIES.
COMMENTS:
I HAVE ATTACHED SOME VERY CONTROVERSIAL PORTIONS OF THE CURRICULUM AS IT RELATES TO RELIGION
SOME OF THE OFFENSIVE/CONTROVERSIAL PARTS OF THE CURRICULUM INCLUDE
1. THE SUPREMACY OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD(PBUH) OVER ALL OTHER PROPHETS OR RELIGIOUS ICONS
2. THAT THE GLORIOUS QURAN IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY OF ALLAH
3. CHILDREN COULD DISOBEY THEIR PARENTS IF THEY REFUSE THEM TO FOLLOW ALLAH (CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT THIS CURRICULUM WAS WRITTEN FOR MINORS (PRIMARY ONE PUPIL TO JSS3)
4. PROPHET ISA (PBUH) THAT CHRISTIANS KNOW AS JESUS CHRIST DID NOT DIE NOR WAS CRUCIFIED
5. IT IS A COMPULSORY SUBJECT COMPRISING CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS KNOWLEDGE,ISLAMIC STUDIES, SOCIAL STUDIES, AND NATIONAL SECURITY ALL IN ONE SUBJECT CALLED RELIGION AND NATIONAL CURRICULUM
6. ALL THE CHILDREN INCLUDING THOSE OF OTHER FAITH APART FROM ISLAM ARE TO LEARN, MEMORIZE AND RECITE THE QURAN/ARABIC LANGUAGE.
Following the decision of the Federal government to introduce the Universal 9-year Basic Education Programme, the Nigerian Educational research and development council(NERDC) restructured and realigned all extant primary and junior secondary schools(JSS) Curricula into a 9 year Basic education curriculum which commenced in 2008. This curriculum was recently revised by the Federal Ministry of Education through the NERDC. Part of the revised curriculum is the omnibus subject called Religion and National values.
Religion and National Values is said to be the merging of formally independent subjects such as Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Civic Education, Social studies and Security Education into one compulsory subject.
Given the fact that it is the duty of Government to provide functional education to her citizenry which is in line with the United Nations Declaration on human and people’s rights, the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and even the Child Right Act of 2003; curriculum review is a welcome development. A review should eliminate subject matter overlaps, redundancies and enrich curriculum quality through the infusion of emerging issues. However, this duty, as exercised in this respect is faulty. A holistic view of the rights – both as enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Child Rights Act point to the fact that the parents or legal guardian should be taken into consideration in any matter that affects the interest of the child.
Unfortunately, the current educational curriculum did not take all these into consideration. In fact, parents as stakeholders were not consulted before the formulation and implementation. For instance, the Right of the child not to be exposed to a contrary religion outside those of his parents / Guardian is not taken into consideration by this curriculum. This has been made possible because the NERDC-approved textbooks for this subject contain materials on both Christian religious studies and Islamic studies. This is of immense importance as the majority of children that attend the basic schools are minors(less than 18 years of age).
According to section 38(2) of the 1999 constitution as amended, no person attending any place of education shall be required to receive religious instruction or take part in any religious observance that is contrary to his religion or religion of his / her parents or guardian. Also, subsection (1) of the same section 38 makes it explicit that freedom of worship is sacrosanct.
Further to this, Child Right Act 2003 section 7(1) says every child has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.
Subsection 2 saliently captured the role of the parents in enforcement of the right in subsection 1 as follows: “parents and where applicable legal guardians shall provide guidance and direction in the exercise of those rights having regard to the evolving capacities and best interest of the child”. Then the issue of consent of parents or guardian necessary before the formulation and implementation of the curriculum is graphically stated in subsection (3) as follows: The duty of parents and where applicable legal guardians to provide guidance and direction in the enjoyment of the right in subsection (1) of this section by their child or ward SHALL BE RESPECTED BY ALL PERSONS, BODIES, INSTITUTIONS AND AUTHORITIES.
The import of this curriculum is that compulsorily, the pupils / students would be exposed to contrary religions whether Islamic or Christian. For example, in one of the textbooks, it is stated “Do not listen to your parents if they prevent you from accepting Islam”. While such a statement may be acceptable to a Moslem parent, such statements and more offends the beliefs of Christians. It therefore negates the idea of inculcating basic values as intended by the revised curriculum.
In the light of the above, it is our position that
1.Christian Religious Studies and Islamic Religious Studies should be allowed to stand separately and be studied as independent subjects with separate textbooks just like the Nigerian languages (Hausa, Ibo and Yoruba} in line with the previous curriculum.
2. Relevant authorities responsible for mid-wifying this new curriculum should as a matter of urgency reverse the curriculum and revert to statusquo ante.
3. Attempts to make this omnibus subject compulsory, for the Basic Education Certificate Examinations should be discontinued.
4. There should be a public hearing on this to galvanize the opinion of parents on a matter as sensitive as this.
5. Federal Government should device means of confronting directly those who propagate violence and religious intolerance rather than making a compulsory subject of the religions as Nigeria has no National religion.
6. Furthermore, the disadvantage of this omnibus integration outweighs whatever could be the advantage. When five subjects are merged into one, it is obvious that detailed work cannot be achieved both in writing of the textbook and the teaching. The child would be made to struggle to learn and comprehend five-in-one subject, which is not going to be easy. The result would be penny wise, pound foolish as excellence would be sacrificed at the altar of social integration

Nairaland / General / $2trillion Recovery Claim And The Limit Of Hyperbole by Independa: 8:56am On Feb 08, 2016
By Sufyan Abbas Mohammed

We have just been told that Nigeria has recovered a whooping $2 trillion in 12 years. My first reaction to this ‘revelation’ is to ask: What is this obsession of the ruling APC government and their sympathisers with bandying high sounding, humongous figures, even at the price of irredeemably damaging the image of the country?

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, while in Geneva last week to receive an award, made an important point which import was not lost on Nigerians. Jonathan had told his audience that when the allegation came last year that the country had lost $49.8 billion in 18 months, he found it outrageous. He recalled telling some German officials he was meeting with at that point, that the said amount might sound neglible for their large economy, but was big enough to cripple Nigeria’s economy. He said he was surprised when the Germans also admitted that a missing $49 billion would equally hurt the very robust German economy.
It was the Emir of Kano Lamido Sanusi who raised the claim of diversion of $49.8 billion by the NNPC, a figure he later reversed to 12.5 billion before subsequently raising it to $20 billion.

It is instructive that after a detailed audit of NNPC accounts conducted by a PriceWaterHouseCoopers (PwC) it was discovered that only the sum of $1.48 billion which was then unaccounted for, needed to be reconciled. Unfortunately, this uncontrolled and sloppy recourse to dropping overblown numbers has continued to do incalculable damage to the image and fortunes of the country.
I wonder if it is part of the change agenda of the new administration to unabashedly inflate figures in order to bamboozle and impress the starry-eyed army of change-chanting gullible Nigerians, as a means of convincing them that this government is indeed fighting corruption.
The latest one which is this shameful claim by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, to the effect that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has, in 12 years, recovered more than $2 trillion (about N400trn at current exchange rate) looted from the national treasury. Again, this animated alarm has cast us in bad light as a bunch of unserious, self-harming people.

It keeps one wondering if those in Government today really know the value of two trillion dollars or the implication of making such frivolous claims. But this is one claim that will never pass for the truth, not before Nigerians nor the international community. In the first place the country’s aggregate revenue in the last 12 years, be it from oil and other sources, is no where near that figure.
Let’s break it further down. The 2016 budget of N6 trillion, which is still being debated by the parliament, remains the nation’s highest so far, at an estimated value of $31 billion, using the official exchange rate of N197/$. Let us assume therefore, that our annual budget had been on the same steam for the past 12 years, that would have given us a total of about $365 billion! This is unarguably nowhere near $2 trillion we are told have been recovered from treasury looters within that period.

Unless, of course the AGF would convince us that Nigeria’s treasury thieves have devised a formula of stealing monies not yet earned, the minister would be constrained to defend his qualification to be in that office. This is because it makes no sense that a government that has recovered $2 trillion would be seeking to borrow a ‘paltry’ $3 billion to finance 2016 budget deficit.
As citizens, we have swallowed too many of their lies to our own detriment. It started with Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State who in a bid to ingratiate himself with President Buhari, shamelessly alleged that one of the ministers in Jonathan’s government alone stole $6 billion dollars, citing American Government sources. But Americans, not given to suffer fools gladly, promptly denied the loquacious governor.

The next is information Minister who has now being appropriately dubbed the Goebbels of this administration, with a trained knack to speak from both sides of the mouth. With his admirers applauding, he told the nation recently that the Jonathan administration did not buy any arms. It took the intervention of the former President, who had until now maintained his peace, to tell the world that the Buhari government have been prosecuting the anti-terror war with the ammunition procured by his government. It was only then that Mohammed admitted that arms were in deed purchased by the last administration. To cover his infamy, Mohammed went defensive, by claiming that the arms were sub-standard, obsolete with backfiring guns that kill soldiers. I spoke to a military expert who told me that cases of guns backfiring to kill trained handlers are unknown to gun manufacturers, not even to the local ones we have in Awka.

Speaking of Jonathan arms procurement, a Security Strategist, Akin Oges, writing in Beegeagle, a WordPress online source, said: “On the other hand, the Jonathan administration recapitalised the military with platforms that we could have only dreamt of some years before, by far huge achievements in comparison: the Nigerian Navy now has five OPVs amongst other platforms, the Nigeria Air Force now has the CH3A drones (armed version) amongst others and the Nigeria Army has been resourced with world class Special Forces units trained in Russia with some new hardware (REVA MRAPs, Bigfoot MRAPS, MRL 70 etc etc).”
It is really quite surprising that Buhari has continued to tolerate people that had always misled him through barefaced lies. For instance, when Mohammed lied through his teeth that the government had technically defeated Boko Haram, it left an obviously displeased President with the difficult option of having to maintain a bold face as a tacit means of defending the tale. But when a certain Borno Village called Dalori was overran and wiped out, last week, with the terrorists murdering over 80 innocent Nigerians, the President couldn’t but cry out that he is now thoroughly embarrassed.

It is obvious that the current lies of recovered $2 trillion is not about Jonathan alone, as it covers 12 years, spanning Obasanjo, Yar’Adua and Jonathan eras. But if it is just another page out of the script of chicanery already mastered by this government, it is one act of deception taken too far.
There is no doubt that some unscrupulous public officials had over time looted a sizable amount of funds meant for the general development of the country. There is also nothing wrong with the present government continuing in the tradition of past ones, to seek to recover such funds stashed abroad.

But fund recovery efforts or lies about them and waging war against corruption shouldn’t be the main preoccupation of the government of a country facing this peculiar emergency, occasioned by the rapid drying up of oil revenue.
The fact that this economy is tottering for lack of clear cut reform policy needs no gainsay. While some people continue to clap in ignorance, the international media have been sounding a note of warning. The first red flag was raised by The Economist which accused Buhari’s policy of damaging the economy. A few days later the Financial Times came out boldly to dismiss this administration’s economic management approach as “the height of foolishness.’’

One of the very first reasonably blunt local input to this debate came surprisingly from a camp that admires President Buhari. Reacting recently to the President’s proclamation on the economy, Pat Utomi, Professor of political economy added his voice thus: “President Buhari who was in Kenya recently said he would not devalue the Naira. The fact is someone like him should not be talking about such things. Whatever his sentiments are, he should keep quiet so that people who know about these things, should be allowed to talk about them. He has created a major problem for the economy by that statement.”
It is obvious that what is required is a carefully crafted economic agenda, designed to take the country out of the woods. The challenge of dwindling oil revenue in a mono-cultural economy, worsening unemployment and collapsing currency can neither be wished away nor solved with recovered funds or body language.

We need a clear-thinking, inward-looking economic team to take us through the value. Unfortunately, this administration has either failed to assemble one or is even scared to showcase what it claims to be one. For the records, this is the only period in the history of the nation where no economist with cognate experience is involved in the management of the nation’s economy. As it stands today we can only guess that the economy is being managed by the finance minister, the budget and planning minister, the Vice President and chairman of National Economic Council as well as the Central Bank Governor, none of whom has a post-graduate degree in economics. Add to that the fact that the president is yet to appoint an economic adviser, and you just realize, to your shock, that Nigeria’s economy is currently on auto pilot. This is sad.

General Muhammadu Buhari said he had only one million Naira in his account before he became president and 150 cows to his name and you jumped, clapped and said, “Yes, that is a man with integrity. He is dirt poor.”
Shortly after the elections and without declaring his assets publicly you realised that Buhari has N30 million in his UBA personal account and owns a palatial home in Abuja worth over N2 billion. You said, “It is okay, Buhari is a man of integrity. He can own a house anywhere. He is not as rich as IBB, Abdulsalam, or Danjuma.” Instead of you to call him out for what he is, a man of questionable character.
He said he borrowed N27 million to buy his nomination form to run for president on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and you clapped for him that he is so poor he had to borrow money and no president had ever been so poor.
A few weeks later, the wife of a “poor” general, makes a donation of N130 million to internally displaced persons in Adamawa. Because her name is Aisha Buhari, some people raise eye brows and ask, if she had N130 million to give away to the real poor people, why couldn’t she give her husband a paltry N27 million to buy his form. You said, “Oh! She is from a very wealthy family, the family of Nuhu Ribadu who also is an acclaimed “poor man” with cows to his name.” Without probing deeper, you swallowed the story of Aisha Buhari’s “wealthy family” hook, line and sinker.
Buhari said he owns nothing abroad, but yet his wife lives at Mayfair in London. Mayfair is one of the most expensive and exclusive neighbourhoods the world. So you really believed the lie that Buhari’s family, would live in a council home in UK? I repeatedly told you that Buhari owns the house in Mayfair where his Aisha Buhari stays, instead of doing research or at least some cognitive reasoning, you decided to call me names… Oh, never mind.
While Buhari was petroleum minister, N2.8 billion (valued at N645 billion in today’s money) grew wings and flew away from the NNPC account in London. Buhari claims he knows nothing about it. You decided he was innocent until proven guilty, afterall, he has sold you the dummy that he is Mr. Integrity. Yet you feel comfortable hounding Diezani Alison-Madueke for money that IS NOT MISSING of which a Senate committee investigated and cleared her of any wrongdoing from allegations fabricated by Buhari’s brother Sanusi the Emir of Kano. Buhari – innocent until proven guilty though money got missing under his watch; but Alison-Madueke – guilty even if proven innocent on money that is not missing.
Buhari said he would bring back the Chibok girls within 30 days of assuming of office, it is going to six months now instead of you demanding for the return of the girls you said you want to give him time. Okay, Buhari, please take your time.
He promised to wipe out his misguided brothers Boko Haram within 100 days in office because it would be a walk in the park for him as an ex-military ruler. You believed him and what has happened since? Over two thousand innocent Nigerians have been slaughtered by his misguided brothers under his watch. The deadliest reign of the Islamist terrorist group since they began their Jihadist campaign in 2009. Yet, instead of asking Buhari questions, you engage in an equally blood-stained conspiracy of silence.
Buhari claimed Jonathan left an empty treasury. But in six months or zero action on the economy and with foreign investors fleeing Nigeria, and with no cabinet… Nigeria is still in one piece. Please where does he get the money to preserve the economy? Instead of asking Buhari these questions and asking if he has been paid his salary and allowances in those six months you are busy passing the blame to a man who has left office.
Buhari has been jetting around the world disgracing Nigeria and Nigerians in the failed quest to be seen as a corruption fighter. He is running Nigeria down and making gaffes at every point. What do you do? Instead of holding him to Instead of holding him to account, you excuse him and point to non-existent gaffes of a Ph.D. holder president whom you love to hate. At this point, I have to say you are an idiot.
Buhari, is busy fighting the mantra “corruption” and the economy is grounding to a halt, you are losing your jobs and investments, instead of you to tell him that he can fight corruption and still keep the economy rolling you make dumb excuses for him and say he needs time to “fight corruption properly”. What does properly mean? You probably can’t say. But you give him a pass as Nigerian groan under the weight of a failed economy caused by a frozen-in1984 president.
Instead of reminding Buhari of his lack of an educational qualification for the job and why he should swiftly put up a team that does have the paper certification, you instead celebrate the “return of power to the North”. You forget to ask him how he is going to sustain the power he has. Instead, you remember to remind him that he is the messiah of his time.
Have you asked him what is happening to our currency depreciating by the minute? Why naira is not equivalent to a dollar as yet? Have you asked him why Nigerian school children are not fed once a day?
Have you asked him why NYSC members have not received their N50,000 monthly allowance that he promised during the campaigns? Or have you asked him why the current “paltry” sum paid to corps members are being owed under Buhari?
Have the docile “men of the fourth estate” aka the journalists reminded him of their insurance policies? That one is so funny………No, they have not but rather are still carrying on with lies and propaganda.
Have you asked him why petrol is N105 today instead of N40? Idiots you would buy and keep quiet after all your docile man is called Buhari. You still have not seen a reason to go and converge at the freedom park in Lagos and sing “Solidarity forever” Woe betide you all.
Have you asked him why he has not fed the old pensioners like himself as he promised? No, you won’t because you just can’t.
He promised you the best Angels and Saints as ministers but gave you the most rapacious criminals as noisemakers.
Have you asked him why he deceived you in almost six months? No, you have not instead you are busy telling people why he has the right to compensate his fellow thieving class.
He said the country is broke, but Fayose asked him to account for the monthly revenue as the previous government was doing instead of doing just that he is attacking and harassing the man. Does Fayose look like someone he can harass like that? Please, park well, Sir or reverse. But isn’t accounting for our monthly revenues what a nobleman should do? Isn’t that the true meaning of transparency? No, he is not noble nor transparent but he is a fraudster that lacks all forms of decency.
You still do not doubt his integrity as a person instead you are still believing him to be the Daniel that has come to judgment.
You are fools, but Buhari is a congenital liar.
Stand up and say no to ‪#BuhariSpoilingNigeria‬.
