Health / Do People Have Tourette's Syndrome In Nigeria by infobox: 5:45pm On May 06, 2010
I just read about a disease called Tourette's syndrome. It got me thinking, do people have that in Nigeria? Alot of diseases could be in existence here but no one would know what they really are. Here's the definition of the disease: Neurological disorder characterized by facial grimaces and tics and movements of the upper body and grunts and shouts and coprolalia. I'd like to know if anyone in the house has it.

Food / Re: Man Sells Vulture As Roasted Chicken by infobox: 2:12am On Sep 17, 2009
Well, to catch a vulture isn't that hard. It takes precision. I know alot of people would PM me cause of my reply on this thread. I saw a guy catch it back in my days in boarding school. What he did was go to the site where cattle is being slaughtered, take some pieces o raw meat, add snuff to it and throw all around the area. When the vultures see the pieces of meat, they'll land, eat it and go dizzy. Then he goes about picking up it half or dizzy vultures, break their necks and puts them in a sack. On days he has much time on his hands, he cuts off their heads and puts them in the sack. That's all. So for all those that want to eat vulture meat and don't know how to catch them, I've just given you a tip. But if they arrest you, I no follow o! shocked

Politics / Re: The Proposed Harvard Training For Governors by infobox: 1:13am On Jun 13, 2009
All these Governors are so amusing. Later, they would say Nigerian varsities are turning out half baked graduated. Why can't they use the money to upgrade a school and then converge there. Ok, if it's advance theft techniques they want to acquire, they don't need to converge to strategise on how to do it. Prominent leaders didn't go to Harvard. So who runs their respective states? Aren't the deputies going? Attention all cooks and care takers when the cat is away,, you know the rest. angry

Food / Re: Who Is The King Of Nigeria Swallow? Eba, Akpu (Fufu), Amala Or Pounded Yam. by infobox: 10:35pm On Jun 01, 2009
I guess no one in the house is interested in Amala. Though Pounded yam is taking the lead but I reckon others would brace up.
Food / Re: Kunu - Tell Me Everything You Know About It by infobox: 12:54am On May 31, 2009
Well, I heard in some part of the North Kunu taken with Banana can boast a Man's Libido (Viagra). Though I don't know which variety of Kunu that is being used. Am considering giving it a try. But I was told, the Hausa men use it as a form of Buran tashi. Can anyone confirm this.

Well, I think Akpu or fufu as it is also called is alot much better than other swallow. Even if the price of eba increases, it still remains the same. And for the record, it's not a labourers food. It's also for all and sundry. Give it a try and you'll be hooked.

Business / Traffic Generation Methods by infobox: 2:49am On Sep 20, 2008
One of the most frustrating things for a website owner is finding ways to generate website traffic. There are literally millions and millions of websites on the internet. Your site is just one in this sea of millions. So how do you get potential customers to find your site? Here are a few tips on implementing good traffic generation methods.

If you think about it, your website is a lot like a traditional brick and mortar store. If you were to open up a store in your city or town, the first thing you would do is advertise. It is critical that you get the word out that you are open for business. Without a steady flow of customers or ‘traffic’ your business will die.

The same principle applies to a website. You need to be able to effectively get the word out that your website is open for business. In order to be successful when you have so much competition it’s important that you study and become good at various traffic generation methods. If you cannot drive traffic to your site, your online business will die.

So how do you go about finding effective traffic generation methods? A good way to uncover great methods is to find someone who has already mastered traffic generation for their own business. It’s much easier to find a person who is successful on the internet already and follow his or her advice than to try and figure it out on your own. There are many people on the internet who say they can show you how to “make a million dollars in five days,” but they haven’t made the first dollar themselves. By doing a little bit of research, you should be able to find a legitimate marketer and follow his or her advice on how to generate website traffic.

There are many great traffic generation methods you can use to increase the amount of quality visitors you get to your site. It’s a good idea to learn and implement as many of these methods as you possibly can. Be sure to test each method you use to determine how successful it is for your particular site. This will allow you to scrap the methods that don’t work for you and focus on the ones that bring in the most traffic. Follow the advice of someone who knows how to generate website traffic and you can’t go wrong.
