I work at a hospital in Ajegunle, Lagos. Close to the hospital, the next street (AKIMBO STREET) has the highest no of brothels per street=4. Also ironically, they have 5 churches in that same street. This area has the highest no of prostitutes in Lagos..... Like it is the first work a girl in secondary school reasons before finishing school. Teenage pregnancy is normal and it is so funny that most parents support this work here in this part of Lagos.

An Ekiti State High Court in Ado Ekiti, on Monday, May 15, sentenced three persons to death by hanging for conspiracy and armed robbery.



The defendants: Omotayo Deji, 23, Chidiebere Ifeanyi, 25, and Bolaji Usman, 28, were arraigned before Justice Bamidele Omotoso on January 21, 2020, on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy and armed robbery.



The charge reads that the defendants on “May 6, 2019, at Aba Erinfun, Federal Polytechnic Road, Ado Ekiti in Ado Ekiti Judicial Division did conspire to commit a felony, to wit; armed robbery and robbed Ademiloye Stephen, Olokuntoye Temitope and Ajayi Kolade of their belongings, such as phones, laptop computer, sandals, phone chargers and power banks valued at M186,000, as at the time of the robbery. They were armed with cutlass and wooden plank,"



According to the charges, the alleged offences contradicted Sections 6 (b), 1 (2) (a) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provisions) Act, Cap. RII, Vol. 14, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.



One of the victims in his statement to the police, said: “We were sleeping in our room at about 2:30 a.m., suddenly, I heard a loud sound on the door, immediately, we woke up, I saw the defendants armed with cutlass and wooden plank, immediately, they broke the electric bulb with the plank in their hand. They commanded us to lay face down and bring out all our money. We told them that we are students and we don’t have money, but they started beating us on our backs with sticks and cutlasses.



“Thereafter, they started collecting our phones, laptops, chargers, sandals, power banks and others I could not remember and ran away. We were later shouting for help but nobody came out.”



To prove his case, the police prosecutor, Kunle-Shina Adeyemo, called one witness and tendered statements of the victims and defendants, as well as phones among others as exhibits.



The defendants testified through their counsels, without calling witnesses.



In his judgement, Justice Bamidele Omotoso said, "I am of the strong opinion that the prosecution has proved beyond reasonable doubt the offence of armed robbery against the defendants.



"They are hereby found guilty as charged and convicted for the offence of armed robbery.



“The sentence of the court upon you, Omotayo Deji, Chidiebere Ifeanyi, and Bolaji Usman is that you be hanged by the neck until you are dead, and may the Lord have mercy on your souls.”

I studied BSc Anatomy as my first degree. During final year,, I realized there are very few opportunities for a graduate of Anatomy except that person'person goes out of their feiod of study... Like the banking job, teacher, research, lecturer etc. Had to write Jamb n use direct entry ASAP for a second degree-Medicine. I later got through Jamb.
Those talking about hospitals, there are few opportunities in Nigeria those in Medical Lab Histopath specialty are more preferred to and anatomist. Even in diagnosis and forensic medicine.
For me=if the person onto want to work in a mortuary, den he or she should start thinking outside the box.
Banking, data analysis, programming, research, lecturer etc.

Thank God we still have prayer houses and alternative medicine (Baba Ijebu). Those two provide alternative health care services.

Besides, when doctors leave, they increase our foreign remittances for strengthening our naira.

Actually, ds is the kind of mentality that has destroyed the health system of Nigeria.
Y people die like fouls all in of visiting herbal practitioners and alternative.
If d western world were so keen on these,, will their health system be top notch??
Will our politicians be traveling always to receive health care abroad??

Before the inception of PO in Anambra as Governor, ANSU was one of the worst universities and the king of strikes in the East. People spending 6-8yrs for a 4 yrs course.
Now.... I don't support his statement about education not for the poor but Honestly, ANSU /COOU is now the best university in the East (Both federal and state). They might not have reached other universities in terms of variety of courses etc, but honestly.. With the speed they are going, it is awesome.
I experienced strike twice for a 6yrs course and my mates in ANSU graduated far before us. Mind you, some other schools like IMSU, Esut and Absu all experience cases and series of strikes.
Now, ask anyone going to school in the east, they will tell you that they wish they are in ANSU. The only state school without strike for some years now, with the highest paid lecturers for a state school in Nigeria. Who won't want to go to school and graduate at the expected time?

I am an Ibo guy who grew up partly in Lagos,,, I am not voting PO because he is Jesus Christ... No. Everybody has a gud and bad side of them. I am voting him because his good side will affect Nigeria positively and also, with what I have seen him do..... I don't doubt him when compared to other aspirants.

Take your brother to a children hospital.
Forget everybody telling about chemist or buying ds n dat.
Though the picture is not clear to appreciate size and extent.... But it looks like postules which is associated with infection.
Go to d hospital, dey will do some blood test n give some antibiotics.
Topical medication is won't b enof.
Weda infected scabies or chicken pox or cellulitis.... It needs a close examination of a medical professional.
Just like someone said..... Our attitude towards health is very poor n we most times blame d govt.
I lost a baby yesterday cos d pregnant woman stay for 2 days in a maternity before presenting to d hospital...... With sausage shaped abdomen and edmatous vulva classical of prolong obstructed labour. It was so so sad cos dese r Lil mistakes dat can be avoided.
In summary, take ur bros to d hospital.

Now the treatment is :
-1 go to a big well established pharmacy

-2.Buy vancomycin and take 1 tab 4 times daily for 10 days to kill d bacteria ( clostridium difficult has most likely taken over ur gut.

-3.ask for a good gut probiotic and take it as prescribed on the leaflet to grow back ur normal bacterial flora.

First thing first...... If u know u don't like doctors and u feel u can be a better doctor Dan wat u r seeing dem do.... Pick up jamb form.... Fill and gain admission. Thank God Dia s no age limit to study medicine.
Secondly, am not in support of any medical negligence. We deal with life and so we should be careful in all our dealings with life.
Thirdly, if u feel the doctor is doing something wrong,,,, start with where the fault is coming from.
U beg a doctor to save a life even if he or she is tired or exhausted n wen something bad results, litigations will then b D order of the day. The person sacrificing all to save a life will den b D victim.
Only when u ve a brother, sister, parent, relative etc that's is a doctor u will truly understand how terrible n dangerous it is to practice medicine in Nigeria.
Health budget Was sliced n nobody said anything. But u Wil come to D hospital n complain that Dia s nothing functional. It's a pity we r in a generation with misplaced priority.
