When delay happens in someone's life a lot will be recorded and it will be unforgetable. Most especially when the reason for such delay cannot be justified people will see u as a failure,At such moment you will see your close associate going away from you and those that have always been there for you will begin to say goodbye and only for you to keep pursuing their shadows because you felt you wanted them in your life and journey. My dear, there is no Joy in delay but God can make one proud at the end. Delay could be a wind of change for a better life but the pain from delay could be psychologically derailing. God didnt put the power of your happiness in anyone's hand but you could discover that you find yourself chasing happiness by pursuing those that wants you rejected because you are on a delay. Many times delay makes one cry, weep, fall and faint but little did one always know that Joy comes in the morning. Many will humiliate you, infact the most regarded ones you least expected will make matter worse. My dear reader, don't ever put your trust in man because man can fail you. I have been there so i am talking from experience. No greater friendship than your friendship with God. See, there is little your money, your job, your academic success can do in bringing you happiness. Some people will derive pleasure in you begging them to get what you want or for your happiness to be guaranteed forgetting that there is always a future to talk about the past that is still in its present. There is more to life with Christ than men. If you are out there and you are under a delay, please don't lose hope because there is something great coming your way, let those that abuse you, humiliate you, wants you to keep begging them for your happiness, and those that wants to leave you continue their way of life. See, Don't ever beg anybody to continue anything whatsover with you, let that be your pride and be respected for it. If anyone wants to escape or go, let them go, your time of smile will surely come, i made that great mistake which i later regretted doing. If people are not proud of you because u are in a short delay period, those people do not deserve your respect when your delay is over. Don't ever bow for anybody's pressure because no man on earth deserve you temperature. Don't be surprised that those you trusted are now the ones that are manipulating you, sitting on the path to lower your esteem, always playing smart on you and always wanting to put trouble all over you, dont be amazed that is the way people are. See, dont ever try to please people because the more you please people the more you lose your value and funny enough those that will not be pleased will not be pleased. So stay strong, gather strenght from your Spiritual consciousness so that you won't fall out. Live your life for Christ alone and see what Christ alone can do. I am dedicating today to God Almighty. I am proud of where He has brought me. He restored my pride. I love the people God surrounded me with, Great Family and friends i will forever appreciate. Although you might not know much of what i saw and experienced in the last one year but your ever present as friends makes me cry for the love shown to me. Let's take Nigeria and Our Generation to the high now, this is not pride but i have been recognised where no one in History of my Family has been which is the outcome of the delay. Lets enter the gate with thanksgiving. I love you to the High.

Religion / Re: Happy 73rd Birthday To Pastor Adeboye by inno10: 8:39pm On Mar 01, 2015
Omooba77:
Tomorrow 2nd March is my Daddy in the Lord,Pastor enoch Adejare Adeboye 73rd birthday. He was born in Ifewara,Osun in the year 1942 and he assumed the position of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in the year 1981. God bless my daddy oh.

Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a Nigerian pastor and the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)[1][2]Pastor Adeboye had his B.Sc. in Mathematics at University of Nigeria Nsukka[3] and subsequently got his PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Lagos, and worked as a lecturer in mathematics at the universities of Lagos[2] and Ilorin;[4] After joining the RCCG, he began working to translate the sermons of its then Pastor and founder, Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, from Yoruba into English.[2][4]In 1981 Adeboye was appointed General Overseer of the church, taking over from Papa Akindayomi, who had died the previous year.[2][4] For three years he filled the role part-time, still lecturing at Ilorin, until giving up his university position to preach full-time.[4]The church, which was not well known before Adeboye took charge,[4] now claims branches in over a hundred countries, including more than 14,000 in Nigeria.[2] Adeboye has stated that his aim is to put a church within five minutes of every person on Earth.[2] He is the national president of RCF (an interdenominational fellowship in all the campuses in Nigeria)which is under the umbrella of Christ the Redeemer's Ministry (CRM)where he serves as founder and president. In 2008, Newsweek magazine named Adeboye one of the fifty most powerful people in the world.[2] He is married to Foluke Adeboye, also a pastor, with whom he has children.[4] he also has National and International awards and was named among the centenary awardees of his country in 2014.He recently endowed 4 Nigerian Universities: Obafemi Awolowo University,[5] University of Lagos, University of Ibadan, University of Nigeria with Professorial chairs in Mathematics to the tune of 50 Million Naira.[

Send your wish

Wikipedia was actually wrong by saying he had BSC mathematics in Uni Nsukka, He actually started in the uni nsukka but got transfer to University of Ife (OAU) in his final year and he finished in OAU.

Health / 25 Strange Facts Prove Your Body Is A Crazy Miracle by inno10: 3:27pm On Dec 19, 2014
Even though you're around human bodies
all day (after all, you have one of your
very own), you probably don't know
everything there is to know about them.
Each of our bodies are a miracle; it's
amazing they work the way they do, day
in and day out. If you thought what our
bodies could do before, once you read
this list of insane facts about the human
body, you'll be in awe. Never take your
own body for granted, because some of
the things it can do are mind-blowing.
1.) The average person produces
enough saliva in their lifetime to fill 2
swimming pools.
2.) Every 60 seconds, your red blood
cells do a complete circuit of your
body.
3.) Sometimes, when you have to pee,
you can visibly see that your bladder
is bigger.
4.) Most babies are born with blue
eyes; exposure to UV light brings out
their true color.
5.) Most westerners consume 50 tons
of food and 50,000 liters of liquid in
their lifetime.
6.) It can take your finger and toenails
1/2 a year to grow an entirely new nail
(from base to tip).
7.) The muscles that control your eyes
contract about 100,000 times a day
(that's the equivalent of giving your
legs a workout by walking 50 miles).
8.) Over the course of your lifetime,
you'll shed about 40lbs of skin.
9.) Your brain uses about 20% of your
oxygen and caloric intake.
10.) In each kidney, there are 1 million
filters that clean around 1.3 liters of
blood every minute and push out close
to 1.5 liters of urine every day.
11.) Ovaries contain over 500,000
eggs, but only about 400 get the
opportunity to create life.
12.) Everyone has a completely unique
smell (except for twins).
13.) Why doesn't your stomach digest
itself? That's because your stomach
cells are created faster than they can
be destroyed.
14.) You have about half-a-million
sweat glands that produce about a
pint of sweat daily.
15.) Humans are extremely visual; 90%
of the information we gather from our
surroundings is from our eyesight.
16.) It's nearly impossible to tickle
yourself.
17.) Baby foreskin is often used as a
skin graft for burn victims.
18.) Your bones, pound for pound, are
4x stronger than concrete.
19.) Your skin is the largest organ in
your body; if an adult male's skin
were to be stretched out, it would
cover 20 square feet.
20.) In order to taste something, our
saliva needs to dissolve it (try drying
off your tongue and tasting
something).
21.) Men produce about 10 million new
sperm daily (approximately enough to
repopulate the entire planet in 6
months).
22.) In just 30 minutes, your body can
produce enough heat to boil half a
gallon of water.
23.) There are more than 300,000,000
capillaries in your lungs and if they
were stretched out tip to tip they
would reach approximately the
distance between Atlanta and LA.
24.) Frequent dreams are correlated
with having a higher IQ.
25.) You'll be about 1cm shorter when
you go to bed at night compared to
when you wake up in the morning.
Your cartilage in your spine slowly
compresses throughout the day.
