Money is a spirit, it has a soul and it lives in a body.
I heard that from Pastor Olumide Emmanuel for the first time.
I just couldn’t believe less! Money indeed is a spirit.
Money has its own intelligence. It has its own set of core values and believes.
Money has principles and strategies that engenders its release. It has access codes.
Money is not religious – it’s not a Christian or … whatever your religion is.
That is why there is no discrimination against it.
Money has feelings. It can get excited and can be angry as well. Money talks!
Money does not create friendship or enmity by itself; however, it has friends and it has enemies. It has no favourites.
Money grows and it can also be stunted.
It lives as much as it dies. It visits and it deserts.
It comes on your invitation and it leaves once it senses the leave signal from you – money has wings.
It doesn’t answer to prayer and fasting. If it does, Nigeria should by now have the largest concentration of the world’s wealth because we love prayer in Nigeria (what a virtue).
As good as prayer and fasting is, it doesn’t necessarily put money in your pocket.
Money is not a native of any land – it is everywhere. It doesn’t come to us in measures – we determine the measure of it that we want the way we do life. Money is neutral i.e.
It is not a man and it is not a woman. It is not old neither is it young.
It is neither white nor black. It is not a saint or a sinner – it simply takes on the image/attitude of the one in possession of it.
It lives and thrives on food. Money feeds on certain nourishments that keeps it alive/dead in our pockets.
If you feed it with the necessary nourishment that engenders its growth and development you keep it alive in your life and the result is that your pocket has plenty of it.
On the other hand if you deprive it of its necessary nourishment, it grows dead by the day and the attendant consequence is that it gradually finds its way out of the pocket.
Every human being came down with money the same way we all came with body parts like eyes, noses, ears, tongue, hands, legs, etc.
God wouldn’t allow a baby to be born without programming into him/her a money making machine that will virtually print money for him much more than he/she needs to last a single life time – that is why some individuals years after they are dead, their children children’s children are still spending their money.

This year, you will take money out of money in Jesus name (Amen)

I mean virginity is not only meant for females. We live in a generation that makes virginity sound like a female. Young man, you need to keep yourself till marriage too.

I got married as a virgin not because I am a superman but because I made up my mind longest time never to have any sexual relationship whatsoever with any female living or dead till I get married. You can make up your mind too today like the rest of us did years ago and we are reaping the dividends today, big time.

I told my wife before and after marriage that my decision to stay chaste has nothing to do with her at all! I am not doing her a favour – I am helping myself. That decision has saved me a lot of heartaches. Listen to me young man; you are destroying your future by being promiscuous. There is nothing whatsoever to gain from it other than a miserable short lived pleasure that has untold pains and aches embedded into it.

All my life I have never lacked female friends. I easily attract sensible female friends, so it’s not a matter of not having opportunities to have sex before marriage. I had myriads of opportunities to be promiscuous because in my case I wasn’t the one looking for them, they were the ones looking for me because I was so brilliant, quiet, caring and have an untiring listening ears. I had ladies who obviously were interested in me and I knew that very well – but, excuse me I am not interested! Period!! There is no excuse that will be fat enough to justify your need to have sex before marriage as a young man.

Granted, as a young man you have sexual fantasies and temptations. I can understand that, what I don’t understand is why you will allow the fantasy of today to become the fallacy of tomorrow. For young men, there are lots of fallacies about sex. It is sweet in your mouth today, but the bitter part of it is patiently waiting for you tomorrow. As a younger man when the battle raged so strong, I consoled myself with this thought; “there is nothing you have on you as a lady that my wife doesn’t have” Now, I was just in my early 20s (I think 21) at this time and I already had the picture of a wife I was willing to wait for even though she was nowhere to be found in my world at the time; but, I was convinced if I lived right that woman will come.

I never struggled to get engaged and married, she just walked in quietly into my world and I believe (among other things) it’s because of my stand for chastity and purity. God didn’t even wait for me to pray for her to come. How will you find a good wife tomorrow when you are busy having sex with them like crazy and dumping them today. If you don’t change today NEMESIS will soon catch up with you. Pocket the stories of those who were chaste and yet had late marriages or didn’t marry at all. There are other reasons why that happened.

That girl you are sleeping with today is someone’s wife tomorrow – have you ever thought about that?
I enjoy sex with my wife today because she is my first and last experience.
I preserved the destinies of every female that came across my path for their own God-ordained husbands and God preserved for me a jewel of inestimable value today – I have never had a day of regret!

It takes the blessed to bless.
It takes the rich to make rich.
It takes the loved to love.
It takes the knowledgeable to impart knowledge.
It takes the happily married to impart the reality of marital bliss.

The sick cannot take sickness out of the sick.
Even a sick doctor cannot care for the sick because he is sick himself.
Two poor people cannot help each other out of poverty.
The best they can offer each other is sympathy and a deeper level of poverty.

Two childless women will never tell the story of ever delivering a baby as long as they are together.
Two people in the pit have no power to pull each other out of it.
Two sorrowful people have nothing to offer each other than a plateau of sorrow.
Two angry people cannot teach each other patience.

Two O’ level students who have both failed WASSCE three times cannot teach each other how to pass the exam in one sitting.


You cannot give what you don’t have.
No one will ever offer you what he doesn’t have.
You cannot ask for a three piece Suit in a food stuff market – Wrong Place.
No one on that level where you are can get you out of there into a higher level.
If they don’t have it, they can never give it.


You can never break out of that level you are right now except someone already on the level you are anticipating brings you out.
Your mess will only be turned into a message if you have someone with a message.
If the people you are hanging out with right now don’t have the message; you know what?
It’s about time you change your circle of friends.

That circle is limiting you – break out of it.


Why are you enjoying the company of the impoverished, hopeless, failures, pessimists, unhappy, childless, unhappily married, helpless, promiscuous, adulterers, e.t.c. If that is what you are enjoying, I think you are enjoying the wrong company! – That’s sweet and slow poison. You don’t need sympathy, you don’t need a replay of what you have always heard all your life – you need to hear what you have never heard before.

Nigeria is corrupt.
Oh, yes we have heard that before. Life is difficult. That’s not new.
This sickness is incurable, that’s already crystal clear. You will fail that exam again, that’s not the first time.
Your husband will never change for better, you hear that all your married life.
This child will never change for better, everyone already knows that.

Now, you need to hear things like; Nigeria has a future.
Life is wonderful. You are coming out of that sickness.
You will not be poor again another day in your life.
You are making progress and moving forward.
You might have failed five times, but, you are passing that exam right now.
Your husband will change for good like a dream of the night. Your child will turn a new leaf e.t.c.


To get out of the rut, you need to reach out to somebody on top of it.
Reach out to Break out.
Reach out to Come out.
Reach out to Stand out.
Reach out to Step out.

Dreams are the first few steps you take on the rung of the ladder of success and achievement. Dream wild and dream crazy dreams. By crazy I mean lofty and seemingly unachievable dreams.

Your greatness is at the mercy of the dream you are yet to dream. Greatness doesn’t happen without a dream. Show me the size of your dream and I will show you how great you are. The only way to become great is to become a great dreamer.

Every one of us were born as dreamers. That is why all of us have childhood dreams that have fizzled out with the passage of time. Perhaps, you and I need to go back and pick up all of our childhood dreams, realign them with current realities in our lives and start dreaming again.

Every impossibility of today is only waiting for a dreamer to emerge. My friend JOSEPH who lived in the ancient Egypt was so much of a dreamer that he began to interpret dreams.

He told me that he interpreted the dream of PHARAOH the king of Egypt at the time and rose to the place of prominence. His prominence came about as a direct response to his ability to create solutions through his dreams. Dreamers are solution providers.

Dreams provide solutions. Dreamers are solution bearers. If you are not providing solutions to naughty issues in that organization of yours, you are not dreaming. Dreamers are way makers and path finders. Dreamers brings something out of nothing. Dreamers bring the future as close to the present as possible.

You can go back to the score board of your life; find out where and when you stopped dreaming and start dreaming again. Abraham began dreaming at the age of 75 and his dreams came to pass. You dreams will not be lost.
Your dreams will come to pass.
You can start today.

It’s the dreamer’s world. Dreamers see the things that do not exist as though they do. What a Godlike attribute! God is the first dreamer that ever existed. No wonder He loves children because children are also dreamers. God loves dreamers. Remember, in the beginning the earth was without form. Then God began to dream and today the rest is history.

History is full of dreamers who shook the entire world. I don’t know what stopped your dreams. The gospel truth is that, you can dream again. Disappointment, lack of funds, disloyalty, fear, lack of support etc. are common enemies of dreams.

No one has a future without a dream. The reality of today was a dream yesterday. As a matter of fact, nothing is ever achieved in the absence of dreams. Every reality, achievement, success began as a dream. True accomplishments begin as a dream. Dreams are the seeds of success.


The difference between yesterday and today is dreams. The dreams of yesterday coming to reality today. Dreams are perfectly unnecessary only if the future and the present are meant to be the same thing. Dreamers don’t just make things happen, they happen to everything. Dreamers are game changers. They turn things around.

The future is in the hands of dreamers. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. Your castles must be built in the air before they find ground expression. You can never build a house without a building plan; that building plan in this regard is your dream. Your future is waiting for your dream. If you begin today, your future is guaranteed.
