Ive always said that its its only a few Yorubas that truly acquired good education and they are very sound as icons in their various fields but the rest are nothing but chaffs because they are product of Quota system.
Let the woman honourable resign.
This is what gets my head spinning on this board. Imagine a minor error made by a minister has been reduced to a thing of ethnicity.

Some of you were mistakenly dropped among population of civilised human beings. You should be living in caves or dwelling amongst some ancient tribesmen in some virgin forest where everything revolves around "tribe".

Now, look at your own error (@ bold), yet you call a people "chaff". You are indeed disgusting.

#God forbid.

In developed countries this mistake will fetch her a national disgrace and job loss.

Nigerians condones much and sometimes I attribute it to lack of proper education and national consciousness in administering their country endeavours...

No patriotism.
In developed countries, a president saying on national television "stealing is not corruption" or "when you put a goat and a yam together, the goat must eat the yam" would earn him instant impeahment by the parliament and not hero worshiping by citizens.

In developed countries, political bias/loyalty isn't based on tribe and religion.

Indeed, #NoPatriotism.

I'm no mediocre for I've said here several times, even yesterday, that I feel Soludo should take over from her while she's redeployed to perhaps a less tasking ministry or agency.
But you guys NEVER see anything wrong in anybody you support. Make you people less of independent minded individuals, less human, and shamefully hypocritical. wink

I tire oo!

Ahap, these men can never deceive me. Instead of giving them my money (except for a very few whom I trust and who always preach about salvation and moral rectitude as opposed to the norm these days centred on prosperity) I give the monies to the beggars or very poor people. They deserve it more- not some pastor cruising in private jets and driving V12 SUVs.

The other day I was in Shephard House, Abuja, and the G.O, Telena, called for some "weird" offerings after which he asked people to rush to purchase some useless church calender he was holding, I just looked on as people rushed to drop monies!! I was like "God forbid that I ever give this man a penny from my sweat".

Most of these men are nothing but criminals- yes I said so. Come at them and some ignoramuses would tell you God says "touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm". Well, I don't they are either "God's anointed" or his "prophets".

Jesus didn't lay down his life for us to be stupid.

Politics / Re: I Won’t Devalue Naira, Buhari Insists by Iroh88(m): 10:06am On Feb 21, 2016
Sibrah:
Buhari is on the right track here. No devaluation is needed. Let the dollar account of all exporter fund the import needs of importers.

What we have had is a case of govt giving out dollars from oil sales to importers who add no value to the system but help promote capital and employement flight.

Nigerians have been net consumers for too long, if you are truely productive and reasonably competitive, sell your products and services to the dollar market and buy what you need with the dollar earned, not you going to govt for dollars.

Buhari can't subsidize every toothpick, mascara, toothpaste, noodle, DSTV subscription with non-existent Dollar that isn't his fault. Importation of those things means a foreigner is employed for its production and the wealth generated in Nigeria has been transferred to the foreigners hand for the forseeable future.

For even offering to give hard earned Dollar out at a low rate to importers of certain items is a plus from the Buhari govt. If you are productive and competitive on global standard, then earn your own dollar.

What we are paying for today isn't really oil earning reduction but lack of productivity and global competitveness in time past.
Tell them!!

Abi oo!! They are just trying to force Baba to pull the trigger while the barrell of the gun is pointed at his head, feigning genuine patriotism.

I think this should settle it. If no one likes this position Baba has taken, they should approach the supreme court- at least they have judges sympathetic to them there. cheesy

Baba says his three major objectives are:

1. Securing the country.

2. Reviving the economy.

3. Stamping out corruption.

Not saying Baba is vindictive and would come for his pound of flesh, but does Fayose know his tenure would end a year before Buhari's?? What happens when his immunity is gone??

No one is saying he shouldn't criticise, but what's gonna happen to him if he does so with decency instead of always sounding like an agbero??

I feel Baba is being too much of a democrat for my liking. Remember Dariye, remember this same uncouth and garrulous scaremonger, what Obj did to them. Despite all the evidence against this man, Baba has yet to turn on the heat on him.

Smh.

Politics / Re: Jonathan Presidency Was A Disaster Foretold (1) by Iroh88(m): 8:59am On Feb 21, 2016
The only time I ever supported Jonathan was during the Yaradua crisis era when he was being treated by Turai and Aondokaa like a "houseboy". I supported him because by LAW, transmitting power to him was the right thing to do, but I never had a doubt about his incapability.

Though the deed is done, I just can't stop imagining what a bad luck Obj brought on us as a nation back then selecting an obviously mentally and morally handicapped man to be Yaradua's Veep. I just can't stop imagining where we would have been today had he supported Donald Duke for that position.

Jonathan's presidency set this nation back a century honestly. The manner in which they plundered the treasury especially in the last days was simply barbaric. Worst still, the president, saddled with the responsibility of the security of our common patrimony was the number one cheerleader of the crooks, encouraging their criminality with such statements as the Goat and Yams theory, the "America will know" stuff, "stealing is not corruption", etc. What manner of president does that!!!??

Much as we try to forget about the inglorious past and all its ignominy, realities of today keep taking us back. Much as Baba bursts his hump to make things right, I feel he still needs some measure of divine assistance to get it done in the short time he has.

God help us.

We are ready and will attack them in Abia, Anambra and Abuja, where they shed the blood of Biafran brothers and sisters. “We are not going to attack the civilians per se; but we are going to attack the presence of the Federal Government in the areas.
Lol. They are promising to bring North East to the South East. Anambra that has almost become the envy of all of us would be taken 50years backwards.

And they say they won't "attack civilians per se", then I ask- do these people know what war is?? Let me guess, they are going to use smart bullets and bombs that can detect civilians and dodge them, abi? Do they know the meaning of "collateral damage"??

I just dey laugh. cheesy
