Hello House,
Please is there any implication if someone want to discontinue TRV application for study and pursue EE because he has recently been nominated by a province. How can this be done, send email to Acre immigration or just ignore the medical request call to expire ?. Urgent advise please.

I don't see how discontinuing your TRV application would impact your PR visa. You may want to notify IRCC Accra as ignoring MR could attract a student visa refusal. Having a clean record is always desirable.

Jordon Ibe has completed his £15m transfer from Liverpool to Bournemouth.

Ibe had a medical at the south coast club on Wednesday and will now fly out to Chicago to join up with their pre-season training camp in the United States, having signed a four-year contract.

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11743/10501885/jordon-ibe-completes-16315m-transfer-from-liverpool-to-bournemouth

I guess, Hybe was not all the Hype after all. Only flexing muscle for Nigeria.

Wish the young man the best.

And if he excelled in Bournemouth this season?

One thing I have learned in life is not judge anyone by their current situation. Everyone would always experience some forms of speed bump in life.

Good evening nairalanders.
Pls I want to implore all of us especially parents to watch yourself or what you do in presence of your kids.I run a creche and i accept kids from 2m to 6yrs old.
The creche is a mixed creche(boys and girls)...Recently i noticed something, one of the boys who is just 1year and 3month usually stare at the female children private part anytime they are both naked so I separated them until yesterday I caught him manipulating the other girl of 11 month, shock was an understatement,i flogged him and warned him never to again try it again.
Today i saw the other girl of 1yr mimicking her parent sex moves cheesy moaning saying things like(oooooo)i was shocked and ashamed,i flogged her and promise to tell her mum.
The big question is
Is it their fault?
To me it's isn't their fault,i blame parent who still allow their 1yr old kids sleep in the same room with them, they aren't dumb neither are they deaf, they see everything that happens in that bedroom.

Quit flogging kids that ain't yours.

What is there to doubt? Siasia unveiled Gandoki as the OFFICIAL Comedian of the team. Gandoki is going on official duties. So how do you think Gandoki is not sponsored by the NFF?

It is obvious Coach Siasia dropped Ekpolo fraudulently. How could they tell the boy to transport himself when Coach Siasia said he needed the boy? Yet they have money to transport a comedian to Rio. Shame.

Unveiling Gandoki as the official comedian doesn't necessarily imply they would be sponsored by NFF. It could simply be a business deal where Gandoki hopes to cash in on. In view of this, Gandoki and his crew would be responsible for their own expense and ticket to RIO. Not sure of Gandoki's business model here, but I strongly doubt the NFF is spending a dime of them.

On the young lad being told to sponsor himself, personally, I feel it's not cool. However, Siasia can't spend the money that ain't available.

I hope the company will not rue their decision to invest when their plants get attacked by militants or the expatriates are being kidnapped in the name of agitation.

The SS is just too volatile for massive investment, most of the indigene would end up selling their jobs to Ibos and Yorubas even Seriake Dickson confirmed it.

Akwa Ibom has been relatively peaceful, compared to Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta State. These current developments (Dangote siting their refinery in Lagos and these guys in Akwa-Ibom) is a huge lesson to those militants in the creek and boko-haram in the north that their violent disposition does their local communities little favor. You would only end up destroying critical infrastructure, and invariably scare future investors away.

and if Soludo didn't recapitalise those banks to the tune of 25billion, you think Sanusi would have any bank left for his so called sanitizing?
what Sanusi did was a "storm in tea cup"
he Created unnecessary panick in the industry.. and ended up damaging confidence in the system, for example the share holder of those banks where more than capable of injecting enough capital to spur the banks, and if he didn't have ulterior motive which to victimize some interest and groups, that would have been the ideal things to do.

My response was to a dude blaming GEJ for the crisis in the banking sector which obviously predates GEJ era. However, if you are comparing Sanusi to Soludo, am afraid there ain't much to choose between those two. Sanusi was obviously too aggressive in enforcing his control measures, however Soludo was the bigger danger. He consolidated the banks (with the banks became suddenly bigger over night) WITHOUT robust risk management frameworks and controls. The banks who couldn't effectively manage billions of Naira were suddenly entrusted with trillions of Naira in depositors fund. What do you think would happen to a fellow who squanders #10,000 when he suddenly come across #10,000,000. In the latter part of Soludo's era, several banks flouted the banking single obligor limit without backlash from CBN. The controls were simply not there.

Must everything be about GEJ and PMB.

And for the records, the mess in the banking sector started with Soludo era, pre-2010 and Jonathan regime. Sanusi inherited an already sick banking sector when he became the CBN governor in 2009.

Akpeyi was already going to go with or without the flop. The hints were already there. He was not going to leave Akpeyi. The Daniel flop just gave Coach Siasia an excuse to see if he can push Akpeyi into the number one position. We debated it before the Suwon tourney.

Honestly, I would agree with you on Daniel Emmanuel. I do not see much difference between the 2 keepers; and would have loved to see Emmanuel between the poles at the Olympic.

I don't think anyone is advocating for the removal of Etebo but i struggle to see Ajayi's contribution when there are better options. What is Dimgba doing there... Ndifreke??

Ajayi's experience is still within the African continent and it does not make him close to Chikatara. I look at their scoring records for the national teams and Chikatara looks more like a goal threat. What is the use of strikers that do not score?

You can not coach with sentiments. Clemens westerhof dropped players that had been part of the qualifying process for USA 94.. You have to be looking at the best for your team not sentiments.

About half of the guys invited would not make it to Brazil (17 in 35), and most of those the average folks listed above may likely be casualties.

Do me a favor, draw up your name 18-man list (particularly your 15-man list without the overage players) without looking at 35 Siasia's list. I bet you would realize that 80% of the names in your 15-man list would be in Siasia's 35-man list.
Sports / Re: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by irondome: 2:38am On Jun 27, 2016

Coach Siasia knows we do not need Akpeyi. His team is leaking goals. The U23 goal keeper is good and he has been the best player of this team. Why carry an overage goal keeper when he could bring in an experienced defender or defensive midfielder to add to the team.

Going with Onazi and Raheem Lawal would be a good option if Chelsea does not release Mikel. Etebor and Azubuike can not bench these guys in the National Super Eagles team. This makes the team stronger.

Or a player like Babatunde or Aluko can take that overage slot if Arsenal fails to release Iwobi.

Coach Siasia's team just conceded four against the Flying Eagles. This is more than Enough sign to do something about that defence and defensive midfield. We know there are untouchables. He wants to make sure they have game time at Rio.

I reckon only 15 out fields players are Brazil bound. Suffice to state that he can't invite everybody. A comprehensive listing of all the names being hawked around here is well over 15. Invariably, some good players like Isaac Success are bound to miss out.

I also guess his kneel-jerking decision to bring in an experienced keeper was as a result of Emmanuel's flop against the Danes. The truth really is, Siasia has never had much use for overage players. He went to Beijing Olympics with just 2 overage players and one of them consistently sat on the bench. And guess what, he would have won Gold if not for the mercurial Messi.

Let's give him a chance and if he flopped, that may as well be the nail on the coffin of his coaching career with the national teams

You have to be professional if you are a coach. Reassess the performance of Ajayi in the under 23 tournament and Chikatara in CHAN... Mind you CHAN was more competitive. Based on that tournament alone, Chikatara is far better. He has recently been signed by Lille.

How many goals did Awoniyi and Ajayi bag in the tournament? The team relied on excellent saves by Daniel, penalties and individual brilliance from only 2 players, Etebo and Azubuike.. The rest were just making up the numbers.

If Siasia is bringing sentiments, then maybe coaching is not the job for him. He should constantly be focused on improving his team. They are currently not good enough.

Chikatara is good, but isn't far ahead of Ajayi. I wouldn't drop Ajayi who I relied on in securing the tickets for him. Mind you, Ajayi brings on board an edge of foreign exposure and confidence, having consistently done well at CS Sfaxien for a year now. I also wouldn't drop Etebo and Usman for the likes of Ifeanyi Mathew and Nwobodo some have been advocating for. There isn't much difference between them.

The only notable omission in his list would be Success. He probably prefers playing Moses from the left over an Isaac Success.

The hand writing is on the wall. Imagine selecting Akpeyi over Ikeme. I just pray we do not get another Suwon Embarrassment in Rio. That is just my prayer.

I hope Coach Siasia puts aside his bias sentiments and select a good team. So far, it is not looking good at all.

It would probably be a commitment issue. Remember Ikeme left the nation cup qualifier camp over some minor stomach upset; and subsequently flew back to the UK. Patriots would have preferred he stayed back to help boost the team's morale. I guess he needs a keeper he can totally rely on and would give his 100%. Enyeama is retired, Ikeme disappointed him once; and Daniel isn't so much of a shitty keeper.

Personally, I don't think we need Daniel anyway; the 2 under 23 keepers (Emmanuel and Yusuf) are good enough. However, I can understand his choice over Ikeme

Siasia has a mission and an agender.
Jst like how he was avoiding Omeruo, Troost-Ekong, Osede,Madu and co and so reserving space for Oduduwa, Amaefule and Awuzie until d Suwon crumble he is doing same by reserving spots for Awoniyi, Ajayi and Aminu Usman by nt inviting Success, Obaje, Chikatara and co.

Siasia has lost it. He forgets this the national team of NIGERIA and nt Siasia FC.

BTW I learnt Segun Oduduwa will b out for 12months. All thanks to "Siasia's rigorous training". sad

You guys should cut Sia1 some slack nah. He seems to favor and reward loyalty, obedience and hard work; which might be his focal point of his coaching philosophy. He probably feels it would be a bit unfair to fly into Brazil with a totally different set of players from the ones used in securing the qualifying ticket. Ajayi, Awoniyi and few others labored so hard for the ticket; discarding them for players who are only slightly better, would be a bit unfair. For instance, I don't not see much difference between Chikatara and Ajayi; as such, prioritizing the former (who never kicked a ball for the qualifying matches) over the latter (who gladly flew in from Tunisia to honor invitations) would be harsh. Furthermore, some of these players Siasia left out did a poor job in handling previous invitations extended to them. For example, Sokari forced himself out of the African Games camp to play an inconsequential match in Nigeria, literary damning the coach.

Most importantly, he is still the coach and has the final say. He knows the players he can work effectively with. Great teams are usually not forged by great individual players. Ranieri proved that with Leicester last season.

For the records, am not advocating that we discard our best players for some loyalty crap, but hey, don't discard all the old players either. Bring in the exceptional goods ones -Kelechi, Iwobi, Moses, Ndidi; and retained the old players who have proved their worth like Etebo.

My point exactly.
1. The pictures did not capture all the so called officials together in same maeeting with fayose.
2. Fayose and his gang of shameless conspirators mentioned names of zenith bank officials that visited but did not tell us the name of the one that porpetrdly knelt down.
3. The resolutions of the photographs looked like the one with the guys in black ties was taking at night. Maybe after the real officials and press men had left.
4. The video I saw did not also capture this scene and these men were not there in that video.
5. The video ddnt also show the officials begging. Instead we had an edited video of a guy asking questions right there while the men were still seated with the gov. mind you it was suppose to be a meeting with the gov and not a press conference so, questions should have waited till after the meeting.
6. The video was edited from the point where the so called zenith official was struggling with the whole set up to when fayose addressed the press in the absence of the same pple he said came begging.
7. We did not Realy get to hear anything reasonable comment from the banks staffs.

Finally, it was a poorly done job ones again.

Fayose isn't so smart, however, I don't think he is dumb enough to use a fake banker's face in his life & death case with EFCC. Suffice to assume that those guys are indeed Zenith Bank staff (definitely not the EDs, may be the relationship manager or branch manager in Ekiti). I strongly believe those guys are begging for something lot more important than their jobs; there is bigger crime/fraud they are involved in (possibly involving the governor himself) that may put them in jail. Either ways, Fayose seems to be blackmailing them here.

http://www.metronaija.com/2016/06/photos-zenith-bank-officials-kneeling.html

My takes are:

1. There is no smoke without fire, it's very much possible that Zenith Bank made some donations, which may be a fraction of what Fayose actually spent on his campaign. Unfortunately, Fayose may be using that as a ruse to hoodwink EFCC that his election was fully funded by Zenith Bank. Either ways, the bank officers are in trouble with EFCC, which may explain their pleading demeanor.

2. If the management of bank allowed a single state governor tarnish its reputable brand like Fayose is currently doing, then the bank is most likely complicit in some shady deals that Fayose may be privy to. These unfolding events should be a "tell sign" to EFCC that Zenith has something worst they are hiding, and invariably, they should be thoroughly investigated.

Either ways, EFCC should turn the heat on Zenith bank, and other banks; and get them to roll on Fayose. And if the banks would roll, EFCC should pick up account officers and relationship managers in charge of those accounts; am sure those poor folks would gladly roll against both the bank and the governor.

ON THE CONTROVERSIAL HALIBURTON AISHA BUHARI:
Having done my independent investigation, I came to conclusion that the said Aisha Buhari is an impostor and not related to the Wife of the President. These are my reasons;

1. The said Miss Aisha Buhari claimed to be the daughter of General Muhammadu Buhari and not the Wife of General Muhammadu Buhari.

However, Buhari in 2006 had denied having any daughter with such name. According to him;

“I don’t have any relationship with that Aisha Buhari,” Mr. Buhari said. “I don’t have any daughter called Aisha Buhari living outside this country. She is not my daughter.”
http://mobile.nytimes.com/2007/04/29/business/yourmoney/29lobby.html?pagewanted=all&referer=

2. The said Aisha of Haliburton was said to be in her middle age as at 2006, while Mrs Buhari is 47years of age as at now.

3. The Haliburton Aisha was said to have testified in the Haliburton case in the USA in 2006, there is no record that Mrs Buhari ever appeared in USA court to give any testimony.

4. Former EFCC Chairman and PDP Chieftain Mallam Nuhu Ribadu that handled the case had confirmed that the fraudulent Aisha is not the daughter of Mr President and has no relationship with him.

5. A Google search on the image of haliburton Aisha reveals no semblance with Mrs Aisha Buhari.

This sounds plausible, actually the first time am beginning to believe that the said Aisha Buhari isn't the president's wife.
