They both made the right choice in the interest of the party and self interest. Umahi for self and party interest: Another election to that senatorial seat occupied by Umahi will be won buy APC in Ebonyi. @least 80%assurance. It is a win win for APC and Umahi. As for Lalong, if he remained a minister and another by-election is conducted , it will cost APC that senatorial seat, because there was 60% assurance that APC would lose that seat. Court gave APC that senatorial seat. So it is in the party interest to be a senator, while party replace Lalong with APC loyalist. Even though, PBAT is yet to appoint another ministerial nominee for Plateau State. 1 Like |
