Education / Re: Nigeria’s Fake Professors List That Turned Out To Be Fake by israelolugbemi: 5:13pm On Jan 09 |
koyeni: It’s quite easy. Our background check is not solid. Some might have paid to have records generated for them. Such as bachelors degree, masters degree and even PhD. When I was trying to apply for this Canada work relocation, a company offered to give me a masters degree, all I need to do is pay and the school will include me in their record and backdate things for me. I was shocked!!!!!!! So yes, they can fake it to any level. |

Almaigaa: To me, you don’t need to share anything when running for office. You want them to share all manner of expensive things to win your votes. Where would they get the money? In as much as someone is willing to help, they can’t be too willing to stake all they’ve sweat for just to help and make you happy. Left to me, election campaign shouldn’t involve the sharing of things such as foodstuffs or household appliance. What I’m interested in is your track record and game plan for what you want to do. |

Education / Re: How did the B.sc Become So Useless In Nigeria? by israelolugbemi: 11:10am On Jan 27, 2022 |
After all said and done, be it that you believe that polytechnic offers more practicals than university or vice versa. It all boils down to personal development. The school you attended is just a platform to enlighten you if the happening and potentials of what you can become. Personal development matters. Where I did my IT at the refinery, without bragging a colleague of mine AND myself from FUTO and FUTA superseded our counterparts in dexterity, technical do how and theoretical knowledge through out the IT period. 2 Likes |

Indispensable85: It’s very different sir. I can’t pay you and I will not pay you are very different. What you said is that companies can’t pay BSC holders. The truth is they can but they prefer rather not to. “They can’t pay BSC holders” means they don’t have the finical capability of doing so. |
Education / Re: How did the B.sc Become So Useless In Nigeria? by israelolugbemi: 10:57am On Jan 27, 2022 |
edochie12: This is a hoax/facade that has prevailed over time. There is no such thing as polytechnics having more practical/practical session than universities as of the present age and dispensation. I finished from the federal university of Technology AKURE and my colleagues who were DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS FROM POLY, did attest to the fact that we were more involved in practicals than they were. Let’s leave the world of engineering and pure sciences. What practicals do those that read banking and finance, sociology, linguistics, languages, public administration and it likes engage in? Or would you say those courses had specialized practical session in the poly than university settings? The bias in the employment simply lies in the pay grade and growth rate of BSC VS OND/HND holders. Bsc starts on level 8 in any industry and B.eng starts from level 9 while in contrast HND starts on a level 7 while OND starts on a lower grade. The starting salary and benefits of this levels differs greatly, and at the Long run, there’s a limit to which each entry level can grow to. Companies are simply playing an economy game to maximize profits. Start the staffs on low salary and their highest salary will just be a little above the stating salary of a BSC holder. Do take to note that regardless of your level, companies still offer a form of training to prepare you for the job. Thank you 4 Likes |

It is sad to see how people are quick to judge and condemn. He came out here for solutions and not to be crucified for a fault he identified and decided to share. The truth is that a good percentage of humans are born this way but they refuse to reconcile with this truth and work on themselves. I believe you are on the track for a change. The first step in solving a problem is in the identification of the problem. I pray to find a quick fix to it. This take a lot of conscious efforts and time to correct. You just eed to stay dedicated to the course of change(not APC kinda change though). Icouldhave: |
Culture / Re: Fallen 100-Year-Old Tree In Oyo Rises Again, Pulls Crowd (Pictures) by israelolugbemi: 4:42pm On Oct 07, 2021 |
I can't stop laughing. This is simple Physics. The actions of cutting the branches by the loggers simply altered the weight distribution of the tree until it got to a point where the base is considerably heavier than the top and remaining branches hence causing the three to sit back in the whole. it is just like fixing a spring to the ground then using your hand to bend the top, it will return to its original position after the external force has been removed. note: the tree wasn't blown away it fell..... the root leaving the ground made a huge whole on the ground upon which the root of the tree rests (on its edge). when weight distribution is altered by cutting the branches, the tree simply sits back in the hole. the base of the tree was the pivot 1 Like

Career / Re: My Experience At A Retail Store Today by israelolugbemi: 6:42pm On Aug 12, 2021 |
This has become the status quo in Nigerian eateries and relaxation centers today. This usually happen when you walk in to a eatery with a lady. The sellers would be like "oga you no go buy aunty the big ice cream", who does that!!! do you know how long i saved for the small pack ice cream??!!! if i need advice i'd ask you. Sales girls/boys/men/women needs to learn how to be professional about dispensing their duties. One day i go off clothe fight with them. |
