I was at the embassy on Friday 3rd December 2021, got a positive response on the 8th December 2021 (3 working days) for a long stay visa

Just want to encourage as many as are still planning to apply and those already in the process not to give up.

Guys pls if a person's student long stay visa comes out in 3 working days ...Does it show sign of refusal or anything?

Hello guys pls is a cover letter required while applying for a study visa...If yes,let me know pls....i drafted a cover letter to submit among other documents at vfs for student visa

Guys pls i need an answer on this i am going for studies,My main school is in germany but i will be starting as an option in france to finish in germany as my school partners with the one in france...All my documents for visa application came from France except for my tuition fees issued to me from my main school in germany with it's name there but was written in partnership with the one in france....Now on the school fees receipt my program end date written there is for the one in germany not the one in france because i am to spend only 1yr in france and then move to complete in germany the remaining 6 months...so now on my cover letter for visa Am i to indicate that i will spend one year in france and then move to germany to complete on the end date written on my tuition fees receipts or is it going to complicate things for me as someone is saying that the embassy will feel that i want to use france and go into germany.....I NEED help on this issue pls...it's urgent� is it necessary to include on my cover letter that my school in france has a partnership with the one in germany ...What advice should i take on this matter.

Yeah all my visa application docs for studies came from france except the course fees receipts which was issued from germany as the main campus but my program end date written there is for when i will be done generally in germany not when i will be done in france...It's written July 2023 but i will be done in France in Jan 2023 then move to complete....How to explain that in cover letter is what i am confused about

Hello Iwuchineme

1. You are staying longer in France so you have to go through France. Campus France would not attend to you atall if you were to apply through the German Embassy.

2. Your Cover letter: Pick a Paragraph to explain this to the visa Officer in very simple English language.


Alot of Students do such interchange every year within the Schengen region.

Hello it's not erasmus...My school just have an option of starting in france then finish in germany or start from greece and finish in germany...so i picked france now i need help on how to put in that my program ends in germany with the date written on my tuition fees receipts because it's been issued from my main campus in germany but has in partnership with the school in france written on it...Thanks...

Please if I get you correctly you said you will be going to 2 schools, does it mean the programme is an Erasmus programme? If yes, how much did you pay for self funded?

Hey guys i am reapplying for student visa and i need all the help i can....Is it complusory i upload my documents online before submiting or can that be done at vfs and also place this that was written"Last completed degree completed (Countries out of procedure EEF-etudes en france)while uploading....Are we following campus france procedure meant to upload anything there?

Appeal ans my school begins this month....I don't think there will be time for that....i am just going to reapply this time more careful in filling my online form and uploading documents then submit evrerything on the check list to Vfs and pray for success....Appeal will take forever...

I suggest you appeal first. Using the evidence of the mix-up as proof and grounds for your appeal. I don't think it's because of the tuition fees because it wasn't ticked on the refusal letter. So appeal, before making a new application.

The 1st picture is for my 1st question while the 2nd is for this question Pls also while uploading support documents...the area that states Last degree needed(Countries outside EEF procedure) does it mean i should not upload anything there ?as Nigeria follows EEF procedure which is campus france

Hello about this....My school main campus is in germany but i will be starting in their partners school in france and then finish up in germany...is it neecessary i input it in my cover letter because all the documents i have is from the campus in france except my tuition fees receipts which bears my main school name in partnership with my school in france...i don't know if it's okay to talk about it on the cover letter also there is a policy of 50% tuition fees to be paid before visa then remaining 50% after visa which i did...Should i also include it?

Secondly my receipt bears a different start and and end date from my France admission letter as dates were shifted after i got my receipts and the france campus isn't one issuing receipts it's been done by my main campus i don't know if that will affect me
while submitting my documents .

before you submit another application, please get an attestation of later resumption from your school something like this.

please i need help in this area and also for the accomodation part i have an accomodation cert from a french company that partners with my school in providing accomodation for their students and it's a recognized company and i was provided with two accomodation options...Should i pick one and use for my application because that was what i did before...

The letter needs to be typed neatly on a normal A4 paper.

He or She considering the resumption time may have decided to reapply rather than going the appeal route.

However, Since you are reapplying make sure the Campus France Document and the tuition receipts are included . Seize the Opportunity to address the First refusal and the omission with the Tuition Receipts in the first application while drafting your Cover Letter.

Please who knows how long UPS take in delivering one's package here in lagos...My passport has been dispatched to them since friday for delivering to me and till now i still haven't received my package and it's quite annoying ....I am tired of waiting for them already...

Sorry guys who knows if UPS delivery operates on saturdays or not...i got an email and sms from Vfs lagos this evening that my passport has been processed and returned back to them and it has been dispatched to UPS delivery they will be the one delivering it to me so i wanted to know if they operate on weekend like saturday or till monday....

wow...Congrats...Mine got ready for collection but haven't been delivered yet to me...Hoping for it to turn out positive��
