Politics / Re: 'Let T B Joshua Heal Your Husband' - Turai Urged by JaeCee: 12:26pm On Mar 02, 2010
im not trying to knock anyones believes or religious views but no offence i think it is highly stupid to think a fellow man like you and i could have the power of life and death in his hands, Death is an inevitable circumstance every man shall face even POPE Jon Paul died in 2005 so what we should do now is as human beings lets pray for the recovery of yar'adua in this unfortunate circumstance he find himself in no matter what my views are of him as a person it would be really f'ed up to wish death on somebody who is not only a politician but also a family man and who has relatives like both you and i that being said if he dies then it was meant to be it was his time, if a pope that surrounds himself with all sorts of deeply religious people that have dedicated their life to spreading the word of their belief die then i think it is highly irrational to think the power of life and death could lie in the hands of any man, like i said money or no money religion or no religion faith or no faith as a man is expected to have been born is the same way he is expected to die

Music/Radio / How Long Would M.i Last On Top: by JaeCee: 10:42am On Jul 13, 2009
First time i heared M.I was begining of this year in school in uk my friend had his song anoti playing,  I was like dayum i am impressed with this rappers delivery and for the fact you can understand what he says word for word,  His lyrics are up to par aswell i wont say he is the best lyrically though because we got people like modenine and stuff,  One thing M.I got an edge over M9 is the fact M.I knows how to be lyrical and still apeal to the masses which is one of my biggest problem with M9,

That being said we all know nigeria music industry is competitive in the sense an artist could be hot now and unknown next year. An exampe is 06 Sauce kid was the hottest thing but where is he now ? Naeto C was hot last summer but now its all about M.I ,  do people think M.I got what it takes to be around for a while or he would vanish next year or year after,

Most people who dont like M.I say irrational stuff like he is wack,  come on now. come on fear god be true to yourself ,  you might not think he is that good but this brother is definately not whack. only thing is he got a strict rhyme pattern i do admit sometimes he throws in words just for the heck of rhymeing,  Like I BRING WAR ON THE VIOLINS,  YOU RAPPERS ARE SMELLY SMELLY ,  I just want you to feel the real me im still me,  feel me the real me im still me,  makes sense but it blatantly comes from no where in the song anoti,   Another thing is the other rappers thing he says on almost every song  its abit cocky just like kanye where his style seems to be based on but its ok tho he knows how to pull it off

No doubt he is the hottest rapper right now with the best album of the year i mean almost every song is a hit ,  good thing but it could be bad aswell for the fact next album there might be a shortage of where that came from lol,

BASICALLY IM TIRED OF TYPING DO YOU THINK THIS SHORT BLACK BOY WHO IS OBVIOUSLY THE HOTTEST IN NAIJA HIP HOP RITE NOW GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO REMAIN ON TOP FOR A WHILE,

Music/Radio / Nigerian Rap/hiphop About A Girl. by JaeCee: 1:48am On Jul 09, 2009
Hey whats up people i am new on this forum and this is my first post.
I am an up and comming rapper / producer based in London and one thing i have noticed
from friends family and the internet is the nigerian music scene is a bit different
You gotta apeal to the club and the radio no 2 ways about that.
Ive writting countless songs about a girl but it has the western feel and i would like for you guys
to give me names of some nigerian rap songs that is about a girl so i can see how i can blend it in the whole
nigerian style i know chorus has to be catchy prefarelaby in nigerian or something ,

I plan on promoteing it on nigerian radios and stuff too,

Thanks

Stay Blessed,
