Politics / Re: Who Owns Saharareporters? by Jakoko(m): 5:47am On Aug 02, 2009
A plane crashed on the way to Calabar, killing the pilot and the air hostesses. Saharareporters sensationally claimed to have exclusive proof that the plane was spirited away by a corrupt ex-governor, and the crew are currently living it large somewhere. This report plunged the grieving families into untold confusion and trauma.
That is, until their charred and burnt bodies were found months later, proving Saharareporters as a pack of lying swine.

That, IMHO, is unforgivable. Perhaps you people can see past this and focus on their sensationalist stories. but i will not.
Rebels or not, we must demand for Responsible journalism.

This story ascribed to Saharareporters is total hogwash that medium never reported that the plane was spirited out of Nigeria. You Texazzpete you provide the url or google cache of such story if you have it. It is you that just lied through your teeth. I had cause to challenge another character here who made a similar sinister claim that Saharareporters reported that Yar'adua had died in 2007. Truth was that Saharareporters did not report anything like that. I await your evidence or an apology.

Debosky - You are perfectly within your right to doubt the credibility of Sahara Reports or even CNN. The issue you are confronted with here is as simple as this, this attachment by a British Press Gazette
http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/story.asp?sectioncode=1&storycode=38629 has said that Saharareporters did not report that Yar'adua had died as you posited severally in your blatant lies against the medium. It is your credibility that is at stake here. Every other explanation about why you don't think the earth is round is immaterial to this. To prove this wrong you ought to be able to provide evidence that SR did actually report that Yar'dy was dead, since this publication attributed that piece of news to Elendureports.. Even if they are revamping their site, you can find Google cache of popular stories such as this by doing a google search. I am still waiting , very patiently and selectively for this piece of evidence from you. Don't get upset please, do your home work, perhaps mother luck would smile on you.

Debosky-According to the link attached, SR never reported that Yar'adua was dead. So , this is a blatant lie you have repeated too many times already!

Politics / Re: Fresh Plot To Remove Nuhu Ribadu by Jakoko(m): 10:02pm On Dec 26, 2007
How about sending Saharareporters on a four years course in Iraq. Those blokes are certainly problematic too!
Hahahaha!
Politics / Re: Attorney-general’s Letter Set Ibori Free by Jakoko(m): 4:29pm On Oct 04, 2007
This case is very clear to the blind and audible to the deaf. There is no need to hairsplit legally, the AGF was doing Ibori's bidding. Where is our sense of outrage, why are we always bound by the "Stockholm Syndrome" why must we feel compelled to defend our oppressors. For those, who read Saharareporters regularly, these facts have been laid out long before a copy of the letter was obtained and posted on the saharareporters library.
Ibori as a fugitive was meeting with Yar'adua in New York during the UN General Assembly. He was designated as a member of the Nigerian Delegation to the UN General Assembly and given a pass which he also presented before the Judge in the London case.
The AGF, with his shady letter, merely told the court in plain language that IBori did not steal or enrich himself corruptly from the Nigeria. Since the London Police prosecutors had based their prayers on that argument, the case just fell apart as soon as Ibori lawyers were able to prove that the home country had no qualms with their intended target. It was as simple as that!

Politics / Saharareporters Discovers Trail Of Obasanjo/andy Uba Loot In The Uk by Jakoko(m): 2:41am On Jun 25, 2007
http://www.saharareporters.com/www/news/detail/?id=352

Saharareporters investigations have revealed that Obasanjo and Uba
used front companies to open foreign accounts into
which huge amounts of funds were deposited before they
were then moved out to the Cayman Islands, Jersey and parts of the Carribean.
The schemes involved a Nigerian born British citizen,
Lillian Nwoko whose modus operandi was akin to that of
Loretta Mabinton, the Portland, Oregon-based attorney
who served as a money-laundering front for Andy Uba
before she was caught by the US secret service."

ON THE TRAIL OF BABANGIDA’S BILLIONS

http://www.saharareporter.com/dn001.php?dnid=117

-Saharareporters, New York

Of all the big beasts roaming the Nigerian political firmament in expectation of taking over Aso Rock post-May 2007, none comes bigger than the man they call IBB. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida elicits mostly negative emotions from Nigerians, not only because of the eight barren years he spent as the nation’s military head of state and self-styled President, but more for what most consider his brazen audacity to think he can come back under a democratic dispensation after the harrowing experience his leadership put the nation through in those years (1985-1993).
