Nyamiriflathed: By way of clarification, the Yoruba Federation under the royal leadership of His Imperial Righteousness Sheikh El Musiwa Bin Totoronto has officially relocated from Canada to Siberia, amid the frozen wilderness of The Arctic Circle, where the frigid weather is conducive to maintaining normal operating brain temperatures whenever our beloved Sheikh feels a need to ponder and ruminate about his next policy thrust. Before anybody starts to clamor for personal meetings with the Almighty Sheikh, I can only confirm that applications will soon start to be processed so that the stringent vetting process can be put in place and implemented without fear or favor. God bless the Yoruba Federation God bless The Benin Republic God bless late Gani Fawehinmi And of course, God bless our amiable Sheikh El Musiwa Bin Totoronto who has been kind enough to return from the dead to prepare for another epic battle royale with Oga Seun and his storm troopers who remain equally determined to ban the Sheikh for the rest of all time, come hell or high water. 1 Like |

Sheikh El Musiwa Bin Totoronto please rest assured that the world press has been notified about your 300th birthday. I can further attest that preparations are in full swing to mark this historic occasion with all the pomp and circumstance that one would expect when Nairaland's King of the Undead marks another year of vigorously resisting Oga Seun's punitive forum bans within the esteemed chambers of Nairaland.

Politics / Re: Legal Cannabis In Nigeria Will Create Many Overnight Millionaires by Jakumo(m): 7:40pm On Mar 03 |
Paraman: To the best of my knowledge as of this March 2024 day, Nigeria's cannabis decriminalization initiative has once again lapsed into a state of suspended animation as the various opposed forces have maneuvered themselves into a legislative stalemate over this vital matter that could so rapidly lift millions of rural Nigerians out of poverty while generating billions of tax revenue dollars for virtually ALL states that comprise the Nigerian federation. One can only hope that Nigerian legislators are paying close attention to the history that is being made right now in Ghana, as the good year 2024 kicks off. Now, at long last, a geographically close sister nation to Nigeria has bid farewell to that utterly pointless colonial-era cannabis prohibition, by boldly stepping on board the multi-billion dollar cannabis revenue train, thus setting the stage for the creation of VAST wealth throughout Ghana, as investors from near and far converge on that enlightened nation laden down with eye-watering sums of hard currency ready to invest in the local economy. Wake up Nigeria and smell the dollars. Legalize it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuF8u212IAw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tTuDl8HlZs |

Just a few weeks ago in December 2023, Ghana quietly passed into law the complete decriminalization of cannabis for commercial cultivation aimed at supplying the $30 BILLION medical marijuana global market. This masterstroke of legislative genius will position Ghana as a major investment Mecca for the cannabis industry, thanks to abundant year-round sunshine, rich agricultural soil, and cheap labor. Nigerian lawmakers need now look no further than Nigeria's close regional neighbor, Ghana to witness how the influx of BILLIONS of dollars, pounds, and euros will transform Ghana's economic landscape for the phenomenally better, in as little as THREE years from that December 2023 day this historic, destiny-changing decriminalization of cannabis was enshrined in the laws of the land for the lasting benefit of the Ghanaian people and their international investment partners. Here is a video clip about the unfolding mega-success story that Nigeria must emulate NOW before other African countries hog the export market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmDaeYJ2m9g https://www.africanews.com/2023/12/22/ghana-legalizes-cannabis-cultivation-for-medical-and-industrial-use/ 1 Like |
Crime / Re: NDLEA Arrests Members Of Drug Cartel, Intercepts Cocaine, Heroin Consignments by Jakumo(m): 7:01pm On Mar 03 |
Any person found in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, Rohypnol, deadly synthetic THC, and even illegally procured Tramadol tablets or cough syrup should be handed down jail sentences of ten to twenty years with hard labor after a fair trial. That said it is high time, no pun intended, that Nigeria REMOVE organically cultivated marijuana from the list of prohibited drugs to boost the Nigerian economy and also stay in step with the growing list of African nations already commercializing the production and export of this highly lucrative crop known as cannabis sativa or cannabis indica, whose medical applications could fill the pages of a PhD dissertation. It is always heartbreaking to see Nigerian cannabis farmers and sellers facing ruination and jail after being caught with a commodity that earns millions of dollars in annual tax revenue and commercial profit in Lesotho, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda, Malawi, and most recently Ghana, a close neighbor of Nigeria located one-hours flight time west along the Atlantic seaboard. Just two months ago Ghana kick-started a multi-BILLION dollar cannabis industry in that nation by FINALLY legalizing the cultivation and taxed sale of cannabis and its myriad derivative products that multiply the dollar value of the crop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmDaeYJ2m9g 3 Likes

A couple of days ago Electric Blues Guitar Guitar Maestro Sean Mann dropped another rework of that timeless rock'nroll classic entitled "House of the Rising Run". In this richly melodic tour-de-force of electric rock/blues guitar prowess, Sean Mann briefly switches from his trademark Fender Stratocaster guitar to a nylon-stringed acoustic guitar that allows him to showcase his fretboard mastery as a seasoned classical guitarist. This guy is a living guitar genius with a comprehensive musical vocabulary delivered with serpentine fluidity and impeccable percussive timing. A mass UFO sighting in Phoenix Arizona was recorded back in 1997 over the city of Phoenix, and that historic incident became known in UFO lore as "The Phoenix Lights". That alarming sighting was witnessed by THOUSANDS of Phoenix city residents, including the city mayor who initially made jest of the incident to prevent widespread panic among the citizenry, at least in part because the gigantic UFO sighted that day was over ONE MILE in length, and shaped like a perfect isoceles triangle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mKF5mgtJLc |

Politics / Re: Congratulations: Aba Geometric Power & Mauduguri NEPA by Jakumo(m): 6:35pm On Feb 28 |
cadmanspize: All other Akson Gominas in the Nigerian federation will not be happy to learn that Aba now enjoys round-the-clock uninterrupted electrical power. The Akson Gominas know their constituents will ask why their governor could not replicate the uninterrupted power blueprint laid out and implemented in Aba. Nigerians still living in electrical darkness will want to know what obstacle prevents their state government from setting up a reliable, consistent, and stable electrical power grid for their families and fellow citizens, given what Aba is now seen to have accomplished in a breathtakingly short time. Among the rogues' gallery of disgruntled elements that won't be happy to see round-the-clock electrical power in Aba would include generator sellers whose shops are now destined to close in Aba and its environs, and to a lesser extent the solar power equipment importers whose sale volume projections could be seriously upset if nobody requires solar power except as an emergency backup power supply that most households would do without to cut non-essential expenditure. |
Crime / Re: The Baffling Case Of The D.B. Cooper Hijacking by Jakumo(m): 11:11am On Feb 25 |
OhuDealer: Quite to the contrary, D.B. Cooper displayed a thorough working knowledge of aviation and flight deck protocol, as evidenced when he passed written instructions to the Boeing 727 pilot not only specifying airspeed and altitude but also incremental flap settings as his designated drop zone was approached, including a notable demand that the landing gear was to be lowered to create further slowing aerodynamic drag on the airframe as the master criminal made ready to bail out that back door over that remote forest in Washington state. Speculation was rife for years that D.B. Cooper was a disgruntled Viet-Nam-era helicopter pilot whose adjustment to civilian life took a wrong turn towards the dark side. Several movies have been made about this epic crime of air piracy and robbery, but nothing definitive has ever emerged about the man's identity or his ultimate fate. For all we know, D. B. Cooper might be living out his golden years watering the lawn of his modest condominium somewhere along America's sun belt, and smiling wryly to himself once in a while when another rumor about his exploits emerges along the relentlessly moving conveyor belt of social media. 1 Like |

Creamypie: The odds lean in favor of D.B. Cooper having died in that forest where he landed after his daring parachute jump in the dead of night. Quite recently a family was hiking along the shores of a remote river in the forests of Washington State, when a decaying pile of cash with serial numbers traced to D.B. Cooper's ransom cash, was found poking out of the sand along the river's gravelly flood plain, suggesting that the man and the cash never got out of that wilderness that night or thereafter. 2 Likes |

The legend of D. B. Cooper has assumed mythical proportions over the five decades since the man parachuted out the back of the Boeing 727 passenger jet he had hijacked for ransom. Mr. Cooper was carrying two huge bags full of cash, and he vanished without a trace in the Washington State alpine wilderness. D.B Cooper might be alive, or dead, and NOBODY knows the truth about his fate or destiny. |

jflower06: There is absolutely nothing wrong with publicizing the evils perpetrated by bad people regardless of whether such demons are dead or alive. Cult leaders typically operate a concentration camp business model with tight security that ensures that the cult leader can perpetrate the most heinous of crimes on his victim-followers, behind a veil of secrecy that sometimes CANNOT be lifted until AFTER the criminal mastermind dies and goes straight to hell, as did Pastor V. D Jaguda of the forcible teenage deflowerment and mandatory abortion fame. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The stories narrated by kidnap victims who were ambushed and abducted in virtually ALL parts of Nigeria are viscerally terrifying to read about, and perhaps the most worrisome aspect of the current kidnapping epidemic sweeping Nigeria is that army uniforms and army VEHICLES are now being used by kidnappers to masquerade as soldiers on routine patrol. This means that ANY "military" checkpoint on Nigerian roads might turn out to be the portal to hell itself. |

OLAADEGBU: Amazing to hear the assumed name of another snake oil salesman in religious garb who imagines himself to be an ANGEL. One imagines that within the parallel universe of brainwash-imposed alternate reality conjured up by cult leaders, the concentration camp administration presided over by every self-proclaimed "Prophet" would be incomplete without a few heavily armed, trash-talking "angels" assigned to impose their prophet's will on followers and external detractors alike, and by force of arms if necessary. On a serious note, anyone declaring allegiance to a dead felon may eventually find themselves on the receiving end of criminal charges or weighty civil court judgment fine assessments. 1 Like |

It is fascinating to note that while Puppeteer V.D Jaguda was alive swindling his gullible flock of parishioners out of their paychecks and forcibly deflowering teenage virgins five days a week, his brainwashed lemmings NEVER missed an opportunity to defend the felonious crimes of their cult leader while issuing veiled death threats, yet now that the true evil character of that horrid predator has been exposed to the world, all those cheerleaders who once threatened to kill anyone who spoke the truth about their false messiah have suddenly lost their voices. 1 Like |

Pascal9: This scenario certainly makes sense. The charlatan pastor's wife probably knew about her husband's habit of raping young virgins almost every night while keeping her at arm's length, so she waited for her perfect opportunity to poison him and thus send him to hell where he belonged, before making a move to take over the family business of duping the gullible sheep to make them hand over their paychecks, which continues to this day uninterrupted. 2 Likes 1 Share |
