Sen Gbemi Saraki A Phenomenal Quintessential Personality Whose Generosity Knows No Bounds
BY ABDUL I KARIM

Exceptionally generous people are hard to come by, hence, I try as much as possible to rally around any of such rare personalities that cross my path by providence.

In every setting and circle, God intentionally sends Messiahs that represent Him through which respite and blessings will be distributed evenly devoid of sentiments whatsoever. Without mincing words, I make bold to say Sen Gbemisola Saraki is such a Messiah, doing the work of God in the lives of many.

The belief that politics changes good persons (from thinking about the masses to that of parochial interest) can not be said about Amazon GRS. in fact, her own perception of politics is solely centred on selfless service to humanity, women and youth empowerment and uplifting the have nots within her reach.

She acknowledges the fact that people are fighting personal battles to be the best versions of themselves. Hence, she works tirelessly just to bring smiles to the faces of the needy and the less privilege to the detriment of her personal gains most times.

Distinguished Amazon GRS is always thinking of how best she help uplift others so they can be useful to themselves and the society at large. Is there any better approach to sustainable empowerment greater than someone to train/see you through your academic pursuits, thereafter, get you a job? GRS is doing it!!!

Your Excellency Heaven will not keep silent until all your prayers and wishes for yourself and that of your genuine followers are answered.

No one can solve all human problems, and neither can any mortal satisfy the ever-growing needs of mankind so it's my prayer that God who is the "main" rewarder of men shall reward every genuine follower of yours and grant their innermost heart desires.

Permit me to end this eulogy with a popular quote of GRS so as to inspire and encourage some other persons to be committed to the service of humanity should the opportunity provide itself.

“Be intentional in your efforts to lift the burdens of people you meet in your own little ways and they would be eternally grateful to God for meeting you.”

Travel / Re: Narrative Of A Journey From Sokoto To Akwa Ibom by Janewrites(f): 11:38pm On Sep 26, 2019
Oh no! I wish I saw this thread earlier. You can actually get a straight luxurious bus from Sokoto to Aba.I came into Uyo from Gusau in August and I used Luxurious bus. The bus usually load from Sokoto, then pick the remaining passengers at Gusau central park. Price is around 6k. So, from Aba to Uyo take a bus at AKTC park around 900-1200 or more depending on your bag. You could also get Aktc straight to Uyo from Onitcha, it's usually super fast to go through Onitcha cos most times the luxurious bus will spoil before you reach Aba.
I am impressed with the way you got the names of those towns especially the ones in Akwaibom where you passed at night. I am your direct opposite. I pretend to sleep, then I fall asleep for real just to pass time. I'm always like let's reach already while swearing it will be the last time I will try such journey, next time I will book flight early for lower rate, bla bla Lol!. Then I check my pocket and I close eyes and just go by road again.I give it to you, you made the experience sound like fun!!!

beauty7:
Sokoto to Gusau N1200
Gusau to kaduna N1300
Kaduna to Abuja N800
Abuja to Onitsha N5100
Onitsha to Aba N1500
Aba to Akwa Ibom N1200
Total amount of transport=N11,100

This amount excludes the money spent on taxi, keke and bikes in Gusau, kaduna,Abuja,Onitsha,Aba, etc.

It equally excludes the money spent to book a hotel in Zuba town of Abuja.

I booked the cheapest room in the hotel at N2500 for a night. Very cheap it was!

The hotel is called "Anoga Guest House" in Zuba town.

At Aba,I spent the night at a waiting room of one luxurious company park.

Talking about the prize of flying as compared to that of bus,you know there is no direct flight from Sokoto to Akwa Ibom.

There is Sokoto to Abuja although.

As for Abuja to uyo,I don't know whether they fly everyday.

I know flying is a bit expensive.

I travel on the road to see things.

Next time I will travel by air.

That is my plan

Family / How To Find Time For Self-care As A Mom by Janewrites(f): 1:16pm On Oct 20, 2018
HOW TO FIND TIME FOR SELF-CARE AS A MOM
Making Out Time For Self-care as a Mom
How to Find Time For Self-care as a Mom
Temitope Rotimi

As a mom, it’s easy to lose yourself in the day to day activities of family life. Things like cooking, laundry, preparing the kids for school, struggling with office duties and so much more often come before our much needed personal time and space which is a very essential part of being a good mother. If you have self-care at the bottom of your to-do list or maybe it has never made it to the list, it’s time to put self-care at the very top. You can be healthy, look great and enjoy a happy life while juggling family and career.

Start Small

Even if you have the busiest schedule, you can still squeeze in some time to attend to your own needs everyday. Take advantage of early mornings before the kids wake up. Have a quick meditation, do simple exercises, read something from a book, write in a journal or just take a few deep breaths. You can start with as little ten minutes dedicated to yourself. It will go a long way. You can also plan out a night time self-care routine before going to bed.

Do Away With Every Form of Guilt

Most moms struggle with feelings of guilt when they take some time away from family to practice self-care. You might actually never get around to your own needs if you keep feeling the guilt.

Stay Connected to Yourself

Try not to lose yourself in all the day’s work and family needs that seem to increase by each day. Think about the things that give you joy and squeeze in time to do some of them. You might not be able to do the same activities you did before having kids, but you can find easy alternatives. Pursue your hobbies. Find some time and space to read that book you love.

Don’t ignore your skin too. Simplify your beauty routines for easy access. Get long-lasting hairstyles that will require less maintenance. Remember, when we look good, we feel good.

Staying connected to our own well-being radiates even to our children and we feel more joyful, patient, and full of life.
