Yesterday, billionaire politician and businessman, Ned Nwoko and his team arrived Asaba, Delta state in three private jets convoy to attend the 27th May Children's Day event organised and hosted by his new wife, actress Regina Daniels.

Since Nipsey's death, there has been a battle for custody of his first child, a girl named Emani Asghedom, who he had with Tanisha Foster.

Nipsey Hussle's sister, Samantha has been the one with 10-year-old Emani since Nipsey was killed in March but Tanisha has been in court since then fighting to regain custody of her daughter.

Tanisha and Nipsey's family were in court on Monday to hash out the custody of Emani. Nipsey's family believe Tanisha, who has been known to shade Nipsey's fiancee Lauren London on social media, is an unfit mother for Emani.

Note that Tanisha has a warrant out for her arrest relating to an unsettled DUI case in 2017. She also has a lengthy rap sheet filled with arrests dating back to 2006 and 2007.

Monday's hearing was sealed but another hearing date has been scheduled in July. In the meantime, the child remains with her aunt.

According to TMZ, Tanisha was angered by this and left the courtroom crying.

Tanisha's lawyer, Larry Lewellyn, told the publication that he's working with Nipsey's family on a visitation schedule that will be in Emani's best interest.

Samantha played a crucial role in helping raise Emani when her father was alive and she wrote in her petition that she wants to "ensure the continued stability for Emani and ensure that she will be able to maintain her current and ongoing relationship" with her family. But Emani's mother, Tanisha, wants to regain custody of her child and she cried in court last week, saying she hadn't seen her daughter in months.

I have read and heard all sorts of comments pertaining to the Naira Marley case and seen the misinformation making the rounds which is quite unfortunate to say the least.
I do not know Naira Marley personally, the same way I do not know the over 300 Nigerians I have gotten justice for against police brutality. I do it because it is who I am.
All I did was caution a young artist, who has influence, against making utterances about an issue that by global standard is considered a crime. I believe correcting this was the way to go as an elder, but got insulted for this even by those being misled.
I never responded to Naira Marley’s invectives nor those of his fans, same way I have not responded to any of the negative comments from social media.
I note that saying I was “happy in a way” about his arrest has evidently frayed some nerves and for that I apologise. It was in hope that it would serve as deterrent for persons who might consider the said ills or need to make a u-turn. It by no means was intended to wish for his downfall. It perhaps was not a good choice of word in hindsight. I do not look forward to anyone’s downfall but rather hope we all learn from the situation.
I hereby state categorically that I had nothing to do with his arrest. We all must recall that he glorified fraud on a public platform where security agencies like the Police, NDLEA and EFCC are also on. I am sure they saw his posts and captions the same way we all did. I, however, was the one that cautioned him. I guess this was what led all the darts and arrows my way as a literal mortal retribution to my person.
Despite the disrespect to my person, I got nothing against him and only longed for him to be discerning and utilise his position of influence appropriately.

graduate of Criminology and Security Services, Adeusi Demola Olatunji, has been sentenced to four months in prison after being found guilty of internet-related offence filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Ibadan zonal office.

Justice P.I. Ajoku of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, pronounced him guilty of a one-count amended charge of criminal impersonation. Adeusi, otherwise known as Piero Luchas, was originally arraigned on a six-count charge to which he pleaded not guilty.


The one-count charge he was convicted of was consequent upon a plea-bargain agreement he later had with the commission. He pleaded guilty to the amended charge when read to him. The convict was arrested on February 8, 2019 at Elebu Oja, Ibadan, Oyo State.
His modus operandi, according to EFCC investigations, was to present himself as Piero Luchas, a white man with email address jeremy.david564@gmail.com,to dupe his victims.

The offence is contrary to Section 22(3) (b) and punishable under Section 22(4) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention) Act 2015. After pleading guilty to the amended charge, the EFCC counsel, Mabas Mabur, urged the court to accept the plea bargain agreement and convict him accordingly. The court granted the prayer.

Besides the four months jail term, Adeusi was also ordered to refund the sum of$1,800 as restitution to one of his victims. He will also forfeit his Infinix phone, iPhone 6 and a Toshiba Laptop to the Federal Government of Nigeria, being part of the benefit he derived from his fraudulent act.

The conviction takes effect from the day of his arrest.

Meghan Markle's dad's ex-wife has said the Duchess of Sussex will be making a huge mistake if she lets her dad to be a part of her newborn son's life.

Roslyn Markle, 73, who was married to Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, 74, from 1964 to 1975, warned Meghan not to involve her father in the life of newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor because Thomas Markle sr. was an "awful father" to his children. She added that Meghan would be a "fool" to end the current estrangement between her and her father.

Living together again, Roslyn claims Thomas refused to take her anywhere to buy food and she became so desperate she had to resort to stealing.

She said: "It got so bad that one day I had nothing to feed the kids with, I went down the local corner store and got some food. I put some items on top of Jnr’s blanket, but I put many ­underneath it. I am so ashamed, but I had to steal, it was the only way I could feed them."

Roslyn also claims Thomas got into a habit of not coming home till 10 am the following morning. He usually retuned "smelling of women" then he will have a shower, change and go to work.

She went on to claim that Meghan's father used cocaine. Thomas Markle Sr. admitted last year to having had an "occasional sniff".

Roslyn said she was finally able to leave the marriage after a friend helped her out. Four years after Roslyn and Thomas sr. divorced, he married Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland. But they parted ways in 1987, 8 years after they married. Meghan was still a child at the time.

Thomas Markle denies all the allegations. He said that his ex-wife’s accusations were "not valid", adding that his children Samantha and Tom Jnr had since both left their mother to live with him. He claimed they had joined him as a result of Roslyn’s "bad habits and abuse".

It's been 38 years since Bob Marley died, but his legacy is larger than ever.

History has it that “Money can’t buy life” were the last words late music legend, Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley uttered to his son, Ziggy as the 36 year-old Jamaican passed away on May 11, 1981 at the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami, USA surrounded by members of his family including his weeping mother, Cedelar Booker after his long battle with cancer and brain tumor.

Today marks 38 years after his death and it's safe to say that his legend, music and impactful message still lives on!

At the time of his death, the world was shook with the news but comforted by the illustrious legacy the iconic figure left where he used his music as a tool to fight societal ills as well making it an avenue to unite the human race.

The late Bob Marley had a humble beginning. He was born in the ghettos of Kingston, Jamaica on February 6, 1945. His father was Norman Marley, a British Naval Captain posted to the West Indies during the Second World War.

Late Marley had little Western education as he dropped out of school at 14 to become an apprentice welder. He soon quit welding to team up with Peter Tosh whom he had met recently and both released a single, Simmer Down which enjoyed a considerable airplay on the local radio.

In 1964, Marley and Tosh formed the Wailing Wailers together with Bunny Livingstone Wailer, Junior Braithwaite, Beverly Kelso, Rita Anderson (who later became Rita Marley in 1966), Judy Mowatt, and Marcia Griffith (the 1-Three). The group was popular in Jamaica as it performed in many shows.

In 1972, the Wailers was signed on by Chris Blackwell’s Island Records and the following year, 1973 came out with their debut album, Catch A Fire an album that launched the Wailers into superstardom. The group toured Britain, but as successful as the tour was, it turned out to be the turning point for the group. Back in Jamaica, the group split with Peter Tosh and Bonny Walter opting out after alleging Bob Marley’s domineering role while on tour.

Bob Marley married Alpharita Constantia "Rita" Anderson in Kingston, Jamaica, on 10 February 1966. Marley had many children: three with his wife Rita, two adopted from Rita's previous relationships, and several others with different women. The Bob Marley official website acknowledges eleven children.

With 42 official releases, plus countless photos and videos of him captured both on and off the stage, the story of Bob Marley is one of the most chronicled in all of music history.

Thirty Six years after, Bob Marley’s work still lives on, he would constantly be remembered as the apostle of reggae music, a thorn in the flesh of the oppressors and the wailing voice of the oppressed. He was the cultural ambassador of the Carribean Island and his indelible mark in the world and influence on music even on generations yet unborn cannot and will never be rivaled.

North Korea has tested several short-range missiles, according to reports from South Korea, its neighbour.



They were reportedly fired from the Hodo peninsula in the east of the country, said South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff. This will be the first missile launch since Pyongyang tested an intercontinental ballistic missile in November 2017.



Last month Pyongyang said it had tested what it described as a new "tactical guided weapon". That was the first test since the Vietnam summit between the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, and US President Donald Trump, which ended without an agreement.



Firing a short range missile would not violate North Korea's promise not to test long range or nuclear missiles, but Pyongyang appears to be growing impatient with Washington's insistence that full economic sanctions remain until Kim takes serious steps to dismantle his nuclear weapons programme, says the BBC's Laura Bicker.



"We are aware of North Korea's actions tonight. We will continue to monitor as necessary" said White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders.

Social media researchers at Oxford Internet Institute have warned that, within the next 50 years, dead Facebook account owners may be more than living owners.

Lead author, Carl Öhman, says that within 50 years, the social media platform will compare to a “digital graveyard,” with hundreds of millions of people. The researchers say when this happens, there are concerns about who should lay claim to ownership of the data of the dead profile owners.

According to analysis by the Oxford Internet Institute, at least 1.4 billion Facebook members will die before year 2100. They base their conclusions on the social media platform’s 2018 membership figure.


“That means the dead could outnumber the living by 2070. If Facebook continues expanding, the number of deceased users could reach as high as 4.9 billion before the end of the century, these statistics give rise to new and difficult questions around who has the right to all this data, how should it be managed in the best interests of the families and friends of the deceased and its use by future historians to understand the past.
“On a societal level, we have just begun asking these questions and we have a long way to go. The management of our digital remains will eventually affect everyone who uses social media, since all of us will one day pass away and leave our data behind. But the totality of the deceased user profiles also amounts to something larger than the sum of its parts. It is, or will at least become, part of our global digital heritage,” notes the research findings.

Co-author, David Watson, also a DPhil student at the Oxford Internet Institute, adds, “Never before in history has such a vast archive of human behaviour and culture been assembled in one place.

“Controlling this archive will, in a sense, be to control our history. It is therefore important that we ensure that access to these historical data is not limited to a single for-profit firm.”

The researchers explain that their predictions are based on data from the United Nations, which provide the expected number of mortalities and total populations for every country in the world distributed by age, and Facebook data scraped from the company’s Audience Insights feature.

The Federal government has asked the United States government to think carefully before granting the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, a visa in order create the impression of endorsing him for the 2019 election.

Atiku who has been accused of corruption and investigated by the United States government, has reportedly been barred from entering the US for many years. Recall that the Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Orgsanisation (APCO), Gbenga Daniel, in a recent interview, said Atiku has received signal from the US government to apply for visa which would be granted. Reacting to this developmet, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, at a press briefing in Abuja yesterday November 29th, said although the U.S. has the prerogative of whom to issue visa, it should be mindful of the timing, in order not to give the impression that Atiku has been endorsed by the U.S. government.

“We understand and appreciate the fact that it is the prerogative of the U.S. to grant a visa to anyone who applies. However, we want the U.S. to be neutral and be wary of taking any decision that will give the impression that they are favouring or endorsing one candidate over the other.

Impression must not be created that the U.S. government is endorsing one particular candidate over the other.

I am sure you will all recall the Jefferson’s case and the cold 90,000 U.S. dollar in fridge. We are not unaware that Atiku has engaged the services of some lobbyists to persuade the U.S. to issue (a) visa to him. Our position is that if the former vice president is seeking the U.S. visa we have no problem about it.

However, we want the U.S. government not to create the impression that it is endorsing one candidate over the other,’’ he said.
