Indeed the Christian is delivered through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, however, there are many spiritual rules that the Christian is unaware of and God tells us NOT to give room to Satan, so deliverance is a tool to restrain the Devil and not give him any room. Deliverance is only possible BECAUSE of what Jesus has done, so it is not unbelief in the work of the cross, but enforcement of the power released at the cross. That said, if a Christian's worldview is ONLY deliverance, then that Christian is out of balance. Every Christian MUST study the bible, live by the principles of the word and declare the word.

The bible gives a CLEAR direction on HOW to be saved, see Romans 10: 9-10

It is true that a calling does not teach one the bible, however, what one teaches will reveal one's master or authority. If Oschoffa was really called of Yahweh, the true God, then He would have been devoted to Yeshua (Jesus), the only begotten Son of God. While every minister has different knowledge about the things of God, the common and most basic fact that joins all TRUE ministers together is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Oschoffa and his trained leaders were into a different faith apart from the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ, that's why CCC is a cult not a church.

You raised a couple of issues and I will respond to them. However, first of all, Oshoffa deceived many and he was deceived as well. You don't have to agree with me. The truth is the truth regardless.

Now to the first issue - praying to "holy Michael" - that reason is unfounded from the scriptures. So what if Michael fought with Lucifer? That does not bestow on him (angel Michael) the right to the Trinity! You referred to Jude verse 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

In that verse, you see Michael honoring the Lord, Michael did not honor himself! That is one of the proofs that the spirit within the celestial church is an evil spirit.

Colossians 2: 15 declares that Jesus Christ made an open show of principalities and powers, I'll post the whole chapter later below. However, note that the overcomer is Jesus, not angel Michael.

The second issue - I no longer have nightmares or hear evil voices, I did while I was in Celestial church and for the first two-three years after leaving CCC. The oppressions stopped when I got filled with the Holy Spirit and began to pray in other tongues. I also learnt about my authority in Christ and pleading the blood of Jesus. So I am free and I enjoy my liberty in Christ.

Now on a personal note, I'll advise you not to be presumptuous. You don't know me or what I have been through and you can only tell about me from what I have told you. Whatever problem I have is solved by Jesus Christ, not by a church. I pray you know Jesus the Christ and celebrate his Lordship.

I stand by my statement that Oshoffa deceived people, I would however add that I believe he was deceived as well. The bible says that there is salvation in no other BUT JESUS CHRIST. Oshoffa taught that there was salvation in doing good works, not in faith SOLELY IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. That is deception! In Celestial Church of Christ, Jesus Christ is a good leader but He is not Supreme Lord, in other words, doctrine is not formed by what Jesus commands but by what the "spirit" reveals. Again, that is deception and error!

The fact that I was in CCC between the ages of 13-18 years does not mean that I was too immature to recognize the spirit of good and evil. In Hebrew cultures, bat mitzvahs and bar mitzvahs are performed at ages 12-13 years!

2 Timothy 2:15 says "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Experience and Opinion of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC)

Let's start with experience - I was in CCC for 6 years. It was a good religious experience but a very bad spiritual experience. Religion to me is the outward action while spiritual is the inward relationship. I sang in the choir and I had prophetic tendencies, so I gave "messages" here and there. I used to have dreams and a few times, I had messages given to me as well. The religious experience in going to church twice a week, wearing a white dress to signify "holiness" and praying in the "Ile anu" (mercyland)  gave an outward appearance of moving towards God, but upon proper examination, CCC was just occultism with a Christ-like look.

I was the first to leave CCC and all my family members left within two years of my leaving. Why did I leave? I was tired of the spiritual attacks. Unknown to me, the form of prayer at CCC (Jehovah, Jesu Kristi, holy Michael) was not a biblical way to pray. God never instructed us in the bible to pray to an angel. I opened the room for religious spirits to distract and disturb me by praying to an angel. Secondly, the biblical way of salvation was not taught at CCC. CCC believes that if one does good works, one would go to heaven. The bible teaches that good works does not save anyone, only the vicarious sacrifice of Jesus Christ does! Thirdly, CCC was patriarchal! The misogynist views were appalling. I developed a "God-was-'unapproving'-of-females" mentality in that church! Women were abused and misused! The last choir I was in, the choirmaster married a second wife from the choir! I was so disgusted. Many of the church leaders had more than one wife, a church that allowed polygyny,  how unequal can you get? There were many horror stories of prophets sleeping around with women and so on.

I went to the church only because my mother made me, as soon as I turned 18, I declared my independence and left for a pentecostal church.

Let's talk about opinion - CCC is Christianized occultism! Oshoffa was deceived by a religious spirit and he deceived as many as he could. Deception is a force, but it is not the most powerful force. The truth of God's word is STRONGER than the deception of evil spirits. If anyone who is in CCC wishes to know God from his/her heart, let the person STUDY the bible! That was what saved me. I chose to study the bible. CCC leaders encourage their members to read the psalms, but not the whole bible. I chose to study the bible and the God of the bible met with me. 

Anyone that has been to CCC, joined for a few years and then left, should go for deliverance or do self-deliverance, I have done both! If you have horrible dreams or hear voices, it's the demons, the religious spirits trying to talk to you, trying to distract you, bind them and cast them out in Jesus name! Salvation is found ONLY in Jesus Christ, not in any church or prophet! Jesus ALONE is LORD!

I spent some time at Celestial Church of Christ ( attended about ten different parishes in all) and I have to say that it is not a church but a CULT disguised as a church. Ask any "Celestian" the way of salvation, they will tell you to do good works and trust God. They believe that Jesus is the Son of God but they do not believe that Jesus Christ ALONE is the way to God. That makes them non-Christians, although most of them do not know it.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" - 1 Timothy 2:5

Celestians pray to an angel (Jehovah, Jesus Christ, Holy Michael), they believe and practice polygyny (marriage of one man and more than one wife) and they believe in labelling children as witches, "Emere", and other sorcery related terms. They perform exorcism with incense, candles, palm leaves, crucifixes, brooms and palm fronds, praying over water and calling it holy water, praying over clothes, calling it holy clothes, cursing withes and enemies, and staying in the church premises for a period of time (abo- refuge period).

They enjoy praying on beach sand (called ile anu) and using beach water. they drink "green water" - a mixture of concentrated salts which is unhealthy which causes the "drinker" to self-purge. Women are marginalised and constantly abused. Women cannot lead services, the church is designed as the Jewish tabernacle in the wilderness. A menorah is placed in the holy of holies section where the service leader who can be a polygynist, abortionist, wife beater, fraudster and etc. leads others into the presence of "God". Fornication and adultery is common and women cannot enter the church during their menstration period or they wear "aso ara (ordinary clothes) inside the church and not aso emi (sutana, white garment) during the period.

Fake prophecies are always given and flesh-inspired prophecies "come true". Galatians 5: 19-21 states; "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Celestians practice "Christianized withcraft". They call on another "Jesus" and preach another gospel ,

Galatians 1:6-9; "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. If you are a Celestian, I encourage you to STUDY the bible for yourself, don't let the Devil cheat you any further (2 Timothy 2:15, John 10:10). I think the question should be, what's right with African religions? I am a Christian and I made the choice willingly. It's only in the Bible that I saw mercy, grace, righteousness, holiness and JUSTICE. Yoruba religion left TOO much to be desired.
