My worry with this will be how the character is written Disney love for woke shit is at an all time high. I mean look at the absolute disaster that was The Acolyte. If she is written well like she was in Logan I am down. It will be easier for MCU fans to like her given her existing lore but if they ruin the character like they did capt Marvel I fear for the future of their new X-Men Saga.

No it's not logical because it's won't be the same production crew? The only thing they could reuse is the architectural drawings but it has to immediately be torn down? The same thing goes for sets of Harrenhal in s2 and s4, they'd to redo the sets again

It could be the same production crew or at least to a large percentage if its immediately after GOT you can't be certain they will change everyone.

Every Land used for production is for lease or rent. Do you think they'd continue paying for a set for 5 years that's of no use. Plus Harrenhal is different 170 years from Ayra's time

Exactly why I said they most likely tore it all down after the end of GOT? And no one said Harrenhal will be the same but if HOTD was made immediately after GOT the logical thing is to reuse what you have while making necessary adjustments no?

Wtf are you saying? So you don't see a difference between HoTD S1 and S2? They're how many locations in S1 and S2? How many VFX shots for dragons and dragon battles did you seen in S1. They had to create Harrenhal, Winterfell, the Vale, they built a full city for Kings Landing, they built a fully functioning sewer which took months to create, you think that's easy. Do you know how many years it also took to make HoTD S1? More than 2 years.
Because of the workload for Dragon shots and SFX - they had to bring in thousands of extras, create new sets. You should know the problems it comes with making sets and production expenses

Interesting one would have thought they would reuse the set from GOT. I mean they had alot of the current locations even Harrenhall where Ayra met no one. Well it is possible it was all tore down after it ended.

She just stupid to be blunt. She made her queen short of one dragon for no sensible reason. She was borderline suicidal to be honest.

She had gotten an immerse lick of killing the usurper and his dragon. That was a job well done for the day in my book. Even the unnecessary injury to Vaghar was another plus. She had 2 chances to escape but foolishness prevailed

It was a poor showing from the king/usurper. But Vaghar and Meleys made up for it even though the rider of Meleys wasn't very smart.

Apparently the King isn't dead at least not yet. We need more of the same. All these constant talks of lords, houses and loyalty don tire me. This is what I came to see.

Good on Rhaenys for serving us food however stupid the decision was.

Love how everything is getting connected.

I would love to see a new series that explores regions outside of Westeros and Valyria! Especially east of Essos

the mad king is the last Targaryen who rule and definitely it's will be at the end of The season

Nah the mad king is decades after the dance of dragons. There were still several Targaryen rulers after this war, like the Egg who I believe a series is being made for. Most of them if not all were obsessed with bringing back the age of dragons.

Rhaenyra is beginning to annoy me.

A completely pointless risk with zero rewards. There was never any benefit to meeting Alicent.
Things had already escalated way beyond cheap discourse.
So much risk to meet Alicent that she hasn't met in months...someone she doesn't even know if she has changed...

Even if she convinced Alicent, what would Alicent do exactly? Is she the one on the throne?

Alicent does not have the power to end the war...so it was a completely pointless meeting with no benefit whatsoever...

Imagine putting yourself and your entire cause at risk for nonsense...

I'm starting to think Rhaenyra is not just soft but becoming fôolish as well...
That is why she needs someone like Daemon at her side...

It seems like the only thing their meeting achieved was that now Rhaenyra would know that whatever she does next she had a right to...

But still a pretty unnecessary and fôolish risk that raises some eyebrows to the writing of this episode

Apparently she is written in the show to be more likeable compared to the books where she can't be labelled as soft at all.

Truth is neither Alicent and this version of Rhaenyra are good at the game of throne. They are playing it with their emotions rather than their head.

Alicent should have definitely had her captured if she was using her head and for Rhaenyra well you have made that point already.

But it does drives the viewers more to Rhaenyra's side which is what they were going for I guess.

Yup, mis interpreted would be the right word, as she saw signs but just mis read them.

But i totally hate how, The prince that was promised was such a huge concept in the books, and in the GOT series, it was just like a flinging afterthought ultimately leading to them leaving the true identity of The Prince that was promised in great ambiguity in the hand. TPTWP is supposed to lead the world from darkness, and at very stages of the show the most obvious candidates would have been Jon Snow and Danys, both from Aegon's bloodline, but in literal terms, I don't think any of them did lead the world from darkness, even though the Night King was an invention of the show, it was the most obvious darkness throughout the show, and he was killed by Arya, and it was infact Danys dragons that helped in bridging the wall for the white walkers. Jon snow or Danys would have been perfect with better writing, as their story is literally the Song of Fire and Ice.

After the show caught up with the books around season 5, they were kind of winging it from there, and ended up with a rather ambiguous ending. Mad over that S8 again.

Yep S8 was a travesty.

Do you know the prophecy of the prince that was promised is very similar to that of Azor Ahai from the far east where the Yi Ti are one of the dominant civilization. Melisandre is from there and she equated both prophecies to being the same thing and used them interchangeably.

But it is very interesting to me that 2 very similar prophecies exist on both ends of the continent with their own spin on it. Although the prophecy of Azor Ahai came first.

The world of ice and fire is very interesting when you go deep into the lore outside of westeros.

You have a weird jungle Sothoryos to the south. A dragon rider tried to map it but couldn't find the southern border calling it a land with no end.

You have the shivering sea which rumor has it there are ice dragons that breathe ice instead of fire.

You also have the bones which is a mountain separating Essos from the far east, guarded by three forts with women only fighters.

Then there is the Jogos Nhai east of the bones who are essentially like the dothraki but ride zebra like horses and elephants.

There's also the Empire of Yi Ti which is analogous to China. They too have an interesting lore. It is believed one of their emperor the bloodstone emperor caused the long night which was then ended by Azor Ahai. They also have the five forts which is similar to the wall in westeros which protects them from demons apparently.

Asshai where Melisandre came from, the city at the end of the known world. Its the most eastern and southern city. Its the centre of dark magic.

I just remember now, how Melisandre also deceived Stannis Baratheon, as the prince that was promised and bro willingly killed his daughter cuz of it 🤣🤣

She didnt deceive him in the sense that she knew her interpretation of what she saw in the flames were wrong and acted as if she was right. She was just wrong on her summation of what she saw and didnt realize. Same can be said about The Egg (Aegon V Targaryen) who saw the vision of Dany with everything burning around her and the birth of her dragons and thought the vision was about him and he ended up burning himself and his family.

I doubt it. Man united is a struggling club whose future is uncertain and they have a precedence of killing the talent of most of their recruits post Fegie.

You guys saw all 3 episodes, and eagerly waiting the fourth this week, but you have written a thesis on about 2 minutes of the entire episodes released thus far...

It's best you guys set your priorities straight, yourself learn the concept of context while at it.

I think you should improve your deductive skills because you are confusing me with abduleez or who ever wrote an epistle on this.

Point is you complained about something that your complaint will in no way have any effect on. Others are doing the same thing. Let them have their time in the Sun. You can't criticize what you are guilty of that's the literal meaning of hypocrisy look it up.

Lemme use your own word at you again maybe it will guide you to the point.

That's why context matters. The show y'all complaining about has proven time and time again to have no shred of care for any sort of morality. So complaining about, something that they have quite literally done before in past seasons albiet in a different medium feels pointless.

Point being "The Boys" isn't a show to form morality police about. They have done more disgusting things without a war cry from you guys, so probably it's the act itself that disgusts you guys, and not the grey area of morality around the act itself, that's why I feel the outrage is pointless. If it was Butcher, that was suddenly turned, then i would have listened, because he has not had any prior inkling, but not Frenchie!.

You lot can't still see the point, by all means carry own with the whinging and complaining 👍🏿

You are only digging a deeper hole for yourself. Same context applies to your Mufasa argumentcomplain of studios doing remake as cash grab. When so many remakes have been made by different studios as cash grab. You see the hypocrisy grin

Just as you had the right to complain back then others have the right to do the same.

Just as your own argument was pointless even though you never agreed to it grin they too are allowed their time in the pointless air.

As we have complained now, they will definitely delete and re-plot Frenchie's role in the upcoming episodes right?? 🤷🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️. You lot keep bothering your heads over what you can't control, and how does this not even ruin the experience of seeing the entire show for you guys, if all y'all gonna do is complain about something that didn't even last 2 mins on screen for an episode that lasted about an hour.

Besides, i don't know what show you lot have been seeing for the last 4 years or so, or probably you lot haven't been paying attention, cuz the Frenchie guy has always been suggested to be on the spectrum.

This is how the world thinks now, or a section of it, best to get with the program, FF X4 the particular scene if it disgusts you so much, or better still avoid the show, instead of bickering about it for days, when you damn well know, when Episode 4 drops this week, you are still gonna be there 🤷🏿‍♂️.

Well thats the world you live in you have to accept it. People will always complain about stuffs irrespective of the fact they will not change it by complaining same way you were complaining about Disney's Mufasa a while ago knowing it won't change anything same way people are entitled to air their views. So on that point you have no ground to stand on. Because you are just as guilty so rest

The Boys S4 E1-E3 - 6/10
I hate to say it and I was really excited for this show tbh but it lowered the bar for me. THE MESSAGE is heavy on this one!
The political message has always been subtle throughout the boys but this time they've picked a side - THE LEFT. They've made right wing people look like they're all dumb conspiracy theorists looking for meaning in their life.
How the hell did they make Frenchie gay all of a sudden. Even his storyline is so dumb like they included it wayyyyy after they've written the script already- it was like the studio just said since Queen Maeve is no longer in the script we need to dump a gay character in the script and they just decided to make it Frenchie is just ludicrous at this point.
The Boys is just leaning into shock value and not story anymore because they've run out of ideas. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Dialogue is just not great anymore - they're trying to dig into an almost rotten pile ideas and increase shock value that'll make rounds on the internet

Same summation the first 3 episodes were very underwhelming not gonna lie. The writing is obviously declining and its sad to see. That Frenchie shit came out of no where. Even the shock value self is losing its value because we have seen it all before it doesn't have the same effect. Really hope future episodes gets better.

Yes, dentists need to eat. I'm not removing a salvageable tooth forever because of money, something that was below 100k.

People are different, the only time i would lose my tooth is if its not salvageable or that I don't have the money to treat it.

The doctor would first observe it and tell you the possible solutions, to extract or to treat.

So if RCT costs 2 hundred naira, would you ask some to save the 2 hundred and remove his tooth?

People have different financial capacity, so that is that.

If RCT won't fix it sure thats the point then they remove it. RCT isn't the be all and end all. Medical conditions are different your own was a case of endodontic lesion which RCT can fix doesn't mean op will be the same thing.

If op tooth is extracted doesn't mean he was dumb or he didn't have the means. But his own issues were different from yours. Trying to put everyone in your own boat is the problem here.

It just like saying because amoxicllin worked for me it will work for everyone.

These are your words "poverty has made people throwaway their tooth forever. Do RCT and crown it". When you don't even know the diagnosis. When you don't even know if RCT will do anything. You are already proffering medical procedures and being condescending to people without means.

Looking at the picture it doesn't look like what you had its looking more complicated. But in your head since RCT worked for me it must work for everyone else
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 2:14pm On Jun 08

I know.but if you are bouyant enough, you wouldn't want to remove it.

Na your type of patients dentist dey find. But there are situations where you just can't save it. Not everyone's condition is the same. I remember seeing the xray of a 1st molar and its very clear nothing was saving it.

Those situations are very common with third molars because of how and when they erupt. That's why they are very notorious. What you treated was an endodontic lesion depending on the orientation of the tooth it might be prone to perio lesions.

Most times these tooth can come with a combined perio and endo lesion which are a pain to treat. So yes its good to keep a tooth but a good dentist always think long term.

If you look at the op picture you can suspect there could be a perio lesion there too. Obviously investigations need to be done to confirm.

If i don't understand it, i can still use my self as an example.

I did it, and also crowned it.

For years now I'm not having any problem. As a matter of fact, it appears to be my safest tooth from any possible infection since it's covered with sliver.

Well it isnt covered with silver thats for sure except you mean a silver crown and yeah adding a crown will definitely removed the problems with the third molar. But removing it doesnt do any harm either its just saves you money. It would be way cheaper and it wont affect you one bit. Thats the point about knowing oral anatomy, you can remove all your third molars and be completely fine eating whatever you want. Its that simple. Alot of the population in this country can't afford RCT and a crown expecially when its on a tooth that you can remove and it doesnt affect your oral functions in anyway.

Waste of money? For someone to save their tooth.

Unless the person is not well to do.

You don't understand oral anatomy is why you are talking this way. Yes it is a waste because most times that tooth will still develop problems after. The third molar is a very notorious tooth its why Dentist will advise you to remove it when it has problems.

But hey who am I to stop you. It just means more money for the Dentist on the regular

Yes, do a root canal and crown it.

60-100k depending on Tinubunomics

Do not extract it, unless you don't have Money.

Kai, poverty has really made many people throway their tooth forever.

Extraction of the 3rd molar is better for everyone. Trying to save it is just a waste of money except the patient really wants it. 3rd molars can be removed without affecting the patient's quality of life.

Its only when you start moving forward from 2nd molar and onwards that you definitely want to avoid extraction at all cost

you are not a doctor.. When the bone under the tooth hasn't been affected, it can still be saved... Mine was worse when I put my tongue through mine I feel it is removal, but after the xray on the tooth I discovered it hasn't reached the bone underneath the decaying tooth. RCT was done on it on 4 different sessions when he confirmed I wasn't feeling pain anymore he filled it with amalgam(silver kind of substance) after 3 Weeks of filling and no pain it was crowned with porcelain. Mine wss worse, and funny thing is I didn't even go to the dentist when I was having lain on it, I went there years later. My point is he should see a dentist and the dentist is in the best position to advise him, not all these remove it remove it bcoz of a common picture he showed... I say it again extraction is always cheaper, hence why people feel wtth every teeth pain is extraction.

What do you mean when the bone under the tooth hasn't been affected it can be saved? There are many hopeless dental cases that don't involve the alveolar bone. Maybe you misunderstood what you were told.

But i do agree he should see a dentist so proper investigations will be done. But most likely that tooth will be extracted as its a 3rd molar.

I can't count how many times I've argued over and over again about how foul religion is 😪.
White men brought a religion to your country so they could dominate you easily- they left and Africans are still like the elephant who thinks he's still chained when he isn't - Africans just love chains at this point🤦🏽‍♂️

The problem isn't religion, but poverty and illiteracy play a big role too. There are several religious countries in the world doing very well for themselves. Nigeria's problems are multi-factored, to narrow it down to one thing is just you being obtuse. The saying a rising tide lifts all boats is true. The less people in poverty in Nigeria the more you will see religion lose its power. Its very evident if you live in places in Nigeria with upper middle class. Percentage of people brought up in these places who are very religious is lower than in low income areas.

The chains(religion) you see are what keep a lot of people going, it gets so strong that even when they do break the circle of low income they believe the chain got them there and will hold even more tightly to it and push these believes even strongly to their children. Its very easy to look down on people when you haven't walked a day in their shoes. I interact with people from different economic class very often because of what I do so I understand when I see these things.

I strongly feel the more develop we become and the less families we have not just in the poverty line but in low income or low middle class the better our way of thinking will become. Imagine a country of over 200 million people where only 5% of the people have over N500000 in their bank account. People don't have the space in their head or time to even contemplate upgrading their knowledge on things that wont give them money. They delegate that work to others like the media, their pastors, movies, smart friends and others. While they focus on how to pay their bills.

The status quo favors a lot of politicians especially in the north of Nigeria. So they deliberately dont want the population out of poverty.
