nani667: My worry with this will be how the character is written Disney love for woke shit is at an all time high. I mean look at the absolute disaster that was The Acolyte. If she is written well like she was in Logan I am down. It will be easier for MCU fans to like her given her existing lore but if they ruin the character like they did capt Marvel I fear for the future of their new X-Men Saga. |

Illusioneffect: It could be the same production crew or at least to a large percentage if its immediately after GOT you can't be certain they will change everyone. |
TV/Movies / Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by jikins(m): 9:55am On Jul 13 |
Illusioneffect: Exactly why I said they most likely tore it all down after the end of GOT? And no one said Harrenhal will be the same but if HOTD was made immediately after GOT the logical thing is to reuse what you have while making necessary adjustments no? |
TV/Movies / Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by jikins(m): 7:17am On Jul 13 |
Illusioneffect: Interesting one would have thought they would reuse the set from GOT. I mean they had alot of the current locations even Harrenhall where Ayra met no one. Well it is possible it was all tore down after it ended. |

ReactExpress: It was a poor showing from the king/usurper. But Vaghar and Meleys made up for it even though the rider of Meleys wasn't very smart. Apparently the King isn't dead at least not yet. We need more of the same. All these constant talks of lords, houses and loyalty don tire me. This is what I came to see. Good on Rhaenys for serving us food however stupid the decision was. |

DieRich5: Nah the mad king is decades after the dance of dragons. There were still several Targaryen rulers after this war, like the Egg who I believe a series is being made for. Most of them if not all were obsessed with bringing back the age of dragons. |
TV/Movies / Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by jikins(m): 7:21am On Jul 02 |
Baddestguyp: Apparently she is written in the show to be more likeable compared to the books where she can't be labelled as soft at all. Truth is neither Alicent and this version of Rhaenyra are good at the game of throne. They are playing it with their emotions rather than their head. Alicent should have definitely had her captured if she was using her head and for Rhaenyra well you have made that point already. But it does drives the viewers more to Rhaenyra's side which is what they were going for I guess. |

Broskyjames: Yep S8 was a travesty. Do you know the prophecy of the prince that was promised is very similar to that of Azor Ahai from the far east where the Yi Ti are one of the dominant civilization. Melisandre is from there and she equated both prophecies to being the same thing and used them interchangeably. But it is very interesting to me that 2 very similar prophecies exist on both ends of the continent with their own spin on it. Although the prophecy of Azor Ahai came first. The world of ice and fire is very interesting when you go deep into the lore outside of westeros. You have a weird jungle Sothoryos to the south. A dragon rider tried to map it but couldn't find the southern border calling it a land with no end. You have the shivering sea which rumor has it there are ice dragons that breathe ice instead of fire. You also have the bones which is a mountain separating Essos from the far east, guarded by three forts with women only fighters. Then there is the Jogos Nhai east of the bones who are essentially like the dothraki but ride zebra like horses and elephants. There's also the Empire of Yi Ti which is analogous to China. They too have an interesting lore. It is believed one of their emperor the bloodstone emperor caused the long night which was then ended by Azor Ahai. They also have the five forts which is similar to the wall in westeros which protects them from demons apparently. Asshai where Melisandre came from, the city at the end of the known world. Its the most eastern and southern city. Its the centre of dark magic. |

Broskyjames: She didnt deceive him in the sense that she knew her interpretation of what she saw in the flames were wrong and acted as if she was right. She was just wrong on her summation of what she saw and didnt realize. Same can be said about The Egg (Aegon V Targaryen) who saw the vision of Dany with everything burning around her and the birth of her dragons and thought the vision was about him and he ended up burning himself and his family. |

001Lagos: I doubt it. Man united is a struggling club whose future is uncertain and they have a precedence of killing the talent of most of their recruits post Fegie. There is only 2 English clubs where I feel he is very likely to hit the ground running thats Arsenal and Liverpool. Man City too but they already have Haaland so not an option. Man utd nope, Chelsea nope. But ultimately it is up to him to decide lets see if he bites |

Interview with the Vampire Season 2 is ultra peak. Hands down the best piece of fiction I have seen all year. It completely improves on what was a solid Season 1 in every way. This is what great writing, immaculate dialogue, and breathtaking acting look like. Just a total masterclass! 1 Like 1 Share |

abduleez1: I personally just want to see it all burn! It would be nice to see the wild dragon "the cannibal" which was the biggest dragon at the time. There are theories it was bonded Corlys Velaryon but he just didn't know. Even if its just one shot of its shadow over Corlys ship it would be nice. |

oyaskii: I think you should improve your deductive skills because you are confusing me with abduleez or who ever wrote an epistle on this. Point is you complained about something that your complaint will in no way have any effect on. Others are doing the same thing. Let them have their time in the Sun. You can't criticize what you are guilty of that's the literal meaning of hypocrisy look it up. Lemme use your own word at you again maybe it will guide you to the point. As you complained back then did disney scrap Mustafa or did they and other studio take an oath not to do remakes anymore 4 Likes |

oyaskii: You are only digging a deeper hole for yourself. Same context applies to your Mufasa Just as you had the right to complain back then others have the right to do the same. Just as your own argument was pointless even though you never agreed to it they too are allowed their time in the pointless air. 2 Likes |
TV/Movies / Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by jikins(m): 10:44am On Jun 18 |
oyaskii: Well thats the world you live in you have to accept it. People will always complain about stuffs irrespective of the fact they will not change it by complaining same way you were complaining about Disney's Mufasa a while ago knowing it won't change anything same way people are entitled to air their views. So on that point you have no ground to stand on. Because you are just as guilty so rest 10 Likes |

Illusioneffect: Same summation the first 3 episodes were very underwhelming not gonna lie. The writing is obviously declining and its sad to see. That Frenchie shit came out of no where. Even the shock value self is losing its value because we have seen it all before it doesn't have the same effect. Really hope future episodes gets better. 10 Likes |

YellowbaMoslem: And that's condensing and you know it And RCT can't fix all tooth problems only endodontic lesion at least learn something today. There is no fact in what you have said just dubious hubris |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 11:59am On Jun 09 |
YellowbaMoslem: Lol didnt you say those words? Didn't you say he should do a procedure without even knowing if it will help. Didn't you say poverty has made people throwaway their tooth forever. That is a condescending statement like it or not. I ain't channeling anything I am not Doctor strange . I am only pointing out the problems with what you said. If you want to live in denial thats your prerogative but I will call it as I see it. |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 10:04pm On Jun 08 |
YellowbaMoslem: If RCT won't fix it sure thats the point then they remove it. RCT isn't the be all and end all. Medical conditions are different your own was a case of endodontic lesion which RCT can fix doesn't mean op will be the same thing. If op tooth is extracted doesn't mean he was dumb or he didn't have the means. But his own issues were different from yours. Trying to put everyone in your own boat is the problem here. It just like saying because amoxicllin worked for me it will work for everyone. These are your words "poverty has made people throwaway their tooth forever. Do RCT and crown it". When you don't even know the diagnosis. When you don't even know if RCT will do anything. You are already proffering medical procedures and being condescending to people without means. Looking at the picture it doesn't look like what you had its looking more complicated. But in your head since RCT worked for me it must work for everyone else |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 2:14pm On Jun 08 |
YellowbaMoslem: Na your type of patients dentist dey find. But there are situations where you just can't save it. Not everyone's condition is the same. I remember seeing the xray of a 1st molar and its very clear nothing was saving it. Those situations are very common with third molars because of how and when they erupt. That's why they are very notorious. What you treated was an endodontic lesion depending on the orientation of the tooth it might be prone to perio lesions. Most times these tooth can come with a combined perio and endo lesion which are a pain to treat. So yes its good to keep a tooth but a good dentist always think long term. If you look at the op picture you can suspect there could be a perio lesion there too. Obviously investigations need to be done to confirm. |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 10:00am On Jun 08 |
YellowbaMoslem: Well it isnt covered with silver thats for sure except you mean a silver crown and yeah adding a crown will definitely removed the problems with the third molar. But removing it doesnt do any harm either its just saves you money. It would be way cheaper and it wont affect you one bit. Thats the point about knowing oral anatomy, you can remove all your third molars and be completely fine eating whatever you want. Its that simple. Alot of the population in this country can't afford RCT and a crown expecially when its on a tooth that you can remove and it doesnt affect your oral functions in anyway. |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 6:47pm On Jun 07 |
YellowbaMoslem: You don't understand oral anatomy is why you are talking this way. Yes it is a waste because most times that tooth will still develop problems after. The third molar is a very notorious tooth its why Dentist will advise you to remove it when it has problems. But hey who am I to stop you. It just means more money for the Dentist on the regular |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 3:33am On Jun 07 |
YellowbaMoslem: Extraction of the 3rd molar is better for everyone. Trying to save it is just a waste of money except the patient really wants it. 3rd molars can be removed without affecting the patient's quality of life. Its only when you start moving forward from 2nd molar and onwards that you definitely want to avoid extraction at all cost |
Health / Re: Can A Tooth With A Large Hole Be Cured Without Extraction by jikins(m): 3:26am On Jun 07 |
cedricksly: What do you mean when the bone under the tooth hasn't been affected it can be saved? There are many hopeless dental cases that don't involve the alveolar bone. Maybe you misunderstood what you were told. But i do agree he should see a dentist so proper investigations will be done. But most likely that tooth will be extracted as its a 3rd molar. |
TV/Movies / Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by jikins(m): 2:38am On Jun 06 |
Illusioneffect: The problem isn't religion, but poverty and illiteracy play a big role too. There are several religious countries in the world doing very well for themselves. Nigeria's problems are multi-factored, to narrow it down to one thing is just you being obtuse. The saying a rising tide lifts all boats is true. The less people in poverty in Nigeria the more you will see religion lose its power. Its very evident if you live in places in Nigeria with upper middle class. Percentage of people brought up in these places who are very religious is lower than in low income areas. The chains(religion) you see are what keep a lot of people going, it gets so strong that even when they do break the circle of low income they believe the chain got them there and will hold even more tightly to it and push these believes even strongly to their children. Its very easy to look down on people when you haven't walked a day in their shoes. I interact with people from different economic class very often because of what I do so I understand when I see these things. I strongly feel the more develop we become and the less families we have not just in the poverty line but in low income or low middle class the better our way of thinking will become. Imagine a country of over 200 million people where only 5% of the people have over N500000 in their bank account. People don't have the space in their head or time to even contemplate upgrading their knowledge on things that wont give them money. They delegate that work to others like the media, their pastors, movies, smart friends and others. While they focus on how to pay their bills. The status quo favors a lot of politicians especially in the north of Nigeria. So they deliberately dont want the population out of poverty. 3 Likes 1 Share |
