N3TRAL:
Fvck Nigerian Academia with their 20th century styled curriculum.

Bunch of narcissists using paper without substance to molest young girls and exploit young boys through racketeering syndicates.

Superstitious fvctards who are unable to conquer religious dogma in their daily lives.

Bunch of bullies and scare crows opposed to development- that's what many of them are.

The government should give them a decent wage, btw, because, at least, they're more productive than other government employees.

Continue........

At least you have enough money to send your children to the Universities abroad starting from Benin Republic. Whatever your experience is while in school, you can't say all Lecturers are wicked to you. You need to even check yourself.

Can you imagine that Nigeria can not attract good foreign lecturer to contribute to our research. Whereas many good brain in Nigeria kept rushing out of the country to places like Uganda because of their regards for academia.

More reasons why you won't see any significant discovery in Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Bolt Delivery Driver - In Defense Of Hon. Alex Ikwechegh by jimade: 6:25pm On Oct 29
oluztx:
Many people are jumping to conclusion just based of off the snippet of the video posted by the Bolt delivery driver.

The Bolt driver was very disrespectful and lacks customer service. His demeanor shows he doesn't like his job and doesn't want to be there. He ordered the man to come outside and pick up his food. Hon. Ikwechegh said no, he needs to bring it inside, which is expected as that's why people use such delivery services and pay the extra delivery fees. What if Hon. Ikwechegh was sick and couldn't make it outside? This is what delivery service is for. Otherwise, it's meaningless. They can as well go outside and drive to the restaurant themselves.

Hon. Ikwechegh even called the restaurant asking what's going on as he couldn't understand why the driver is acting in this manner. If I were him, I would have asked him to return the food. Can't trust eating a food delivered by a driver having an attitude.

Yes, his actions were wrong but the bolt driver was very disrespectful to order a man that lives in an upscale part of the city and obviously an honorable member to come outside. If he had his security detail, they would dealt with him and rightfully so. Delivery driver is a customer service job, you have to do it respectfully.

It appears this could also be premeditated by the bolt driver, like he's been there before, perhaps, didn't like his tip and decided to set him up by acting disrespectfully.

You must be one of those people who make their fellow men a slave because of money.

Politics / Re: Tinubu's Victory... by jimade: 3:09pm On Jun 09, 2022
Mind you, it wasn't the youth that elect him . How many youth belongs to the delegates?
See delegates can never represent Nigeria even though I know that 80% of Nigerians focuses more on their immediate and not future.

Prosper123:
Since Tinubu emerged victorious in the APC presidential primaries, he has been congratulated by many, especially the Yorubas.
While I believe that Tinubu is a political juggernaut, but his victory and praise reveal the true color of Yorubas. They have chosen him because of tribe and sentiment without putting the country into consideration.

They easily chose him forgetting about the lekki toll gate saga, saying he is a real politician. What is wrong with the youth?

They have forgotten about his health issues and say he can handle the country anyways. A man that jitters when he talks. Watch the APC primaries, on one occasion, he staggered as he was climbing down the podium.
I could have gone for the young Osibanjo or any other option.

They have forgotten about the cases of corruption raised against him.

Many of the people from the south wanted a Christian to take the helm of affairs as the next president. Many Christians from Yorubas wanted that, but since Tinubu emerged, the Yorubas, both the Christians and Muslims have forgotten about what they believed could be best for the country at the moment.
When we talk about religion, they tell us they are liberals. Nothing could be more fearful of the truth.

Let us tell ourselves the truth.
The south has been betrayed by our Yoruba brothers in the south. They have revealed their true colors. They have always benefitted more from the North because they easily bend, feigning knowledge of politics.

Until we are true to these issues, the youth will always be in chains in this country.

I know many would say I'm wailing, but it seems we are not ready to change the country.
Tomorrow, the youths are the ones to cry , we need to change the country, fight corruption, and what nice rhetoric. But we have decided to sell our today off based on sentiment.

This is a vicious circle holding the country. When it gets worse, let us not cry again. Let us live with the monster we have groomed. The old ones have fooled us, but we keep fooling ourselves the more.

You are already a man since 18 years. So you should summon courage and take responsibility. Don't abort the baby, pls. Bear the shame for the child and do not ignore the lady if she is willing to go with you. Try as much as possible to help her education. She doesn't need to drop out of school. Let her also be ready to face the secret shame you people have been enjoying now in the public.

Keep the baby. Help the lady and you people should move on positively irrespective of what comes to you from the families and friends because you guys dashed their and really disappointed them.

Just be responsible.

The two of should also ask God for forgiveness and allow Christ to guide your lives henceforth. At least you have enjoying sin till now. Turn now to God and let Him help your pieces. God is willing. Shalom

New222:
I won't try to sugarcoat it. I'm 25 years old, she's 19. Still in university because of the endless ASUU strike.

I've been having unprotected sex with this particular girl for a long while now. We've been dating for close to two years. I practise the "withdrawal" and "safe" days method. I met her a Virgin too.

Just realised she's pregnant. She started showing a lot of symptoms. Darkened areolas, nausea, breast heaviness, headache, back pain e.t.c.

I asked her to get do a pregnancy strip test and it came positive. Two red lines.

Though it's not what I ever planned for myself, I won't really mind having a child at my age. People will so much insult me, including my family but I'm sure my family will take care of the child.

The issue is the girl. Her family (Deeper Life) are wahala, big wahala. Educated people that behaves as if they never went to school. Now, we detected very early, her first period is supposed to start tomorrow (which I'm sure she'll miss). She's still very young and about to start schooling. I'm sure her dad will disown her (he once sent her away from his home over a slight misunderstanding, refused to let her back in until it was shown she was innocent).

I told her we have two choices, keep the baby or remove it. I am confused too, but I didn't show it. Pls what do you think?

We're really considering ending the pregnancy. Since it's very early, I'm considered getting m...p......r..l. I need medical advice pls. Above all, I don't want to endanger the girl's life.
I've read about abortion pills. I don't know how to get them or their price. Or should we keep the baby? Her dad will surely disown her, might later accept her, but it will definitely end her Education. What do you think? Should we get the drugs pls. Or consider another option? Should we keep the baby?

P.S: I know nairaland. I've been here for years, insult are welcomed. I never imaginned I'll ever open a thread like this.

P.S: If you're using withdrawal method and it works, it WILL STILL EVENTUALLY FAIL YOU. I used it for a really long time, now I'm here.

First, Accept Jesus Christ into your heart. Confess this sin of lust before Him genuinely and request for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

(Prov.28.13 - He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy).

Secondly, if there is any genuine christian brother around you, confide in him by telling him. Together pray earnestly for mercy.

Thirdly, begin to occupy your heart with the word of God. Your heart must not be empty because the demonic taught will come again.

(Rom.12.2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God).

Lastly, deal with idleness by attending fellowship and engage in personal bible study and praying. You can add fasting to it

Shalom

During my ND, there is no famale tenant that i didn't see her unclothedness to more than a million time, even when i went back for my HND, i did thesame thing.

I'm currently serving right now, and i'm still doing thesame thing here. I peep on my neigbhous and fellow corps member here.

I've been doing this for six years, and i've never being caught. Sometimes i ask God; why was i not being caught all those times in school, why didn't GOD want me to get caught.

I've tried every possible means to stop it, but all failed, even when i don't want to do it, my spirit will keep pushing me & if i don't do it at that time, i won't rest.

It seems i can't live without it.

I know someday i will be caught and embarrassed and get my pictures uploaded online for this crime.

Any other man or woman apart from the first person who legally married you is a Sin Partner. You both are Decieving yourselves.

Except in a case where a spouse is dead. Then you are Biblically free to marry again.

Politics / Re: “Polygamy Is Not A Sin” – Reno Acts To Yul Edochie’s Second Marriage by jimade: 12:24pm On Apr 28, 2022
Niece:
A Nigerian activist and Pastor of Mind of Christ Christian Center, Reno Omokri has reacted to Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second marriage.

Earlier today, the Nollywood actor had posted a picture of himself and his son whom he welcomed with his second wife.

The post generated many reactions by celebrities and fans.

A loyal follower of Reno Omokri called his attention to it and asked for his views concerning Yul Edochie’s second marriage.

Reacting to it, the pastor stated that being polygamous is not bad. “Polygamy is not a sin”, he said. Reno went further and said that God Himself gave David many wives. He drew his submission from 2 Samuel 12:18.

The pastor made it known that polygamy is scriptural and only forbidden for bishops and elders of the church.

Pastor Reno said that it’s saddened that the Africans accepted the concept of monopoly which according to the clergyman, is the constructure of the Western world.
His statement reads;

https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc3lilsITS2/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

lalasticlala

For every genuine child of God who is also a priest and king, David and all the polygamist in bible are not our standard not even the great Moses but Jesus Christ. When some people asked him about divorce, he referred them back to the beginning.

Matthew 19

3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female( Not male and Females or vice versa)
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wifesad not wives) and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder

Acts.17.30 - Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
Acts.17.31 - because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."

Children of God (not church goers) are not permitted to marry two wives.

So be careful and don't create trouble into people's lives by misleading them. Every child of God is a Priest and the mind of God in marriage of One Man and One woman has not change. Bishop or whatever is just the office name which even every child of God should desire as the scripture says. And if you desire it you sanctify yourself for it and live for God's glory.

Shalom.

My brother Kuwait, Lybia and Alaska u've just mentioned have their hydrocarbon been source eithier from shale or carbonates rocks. Magma cannot accomodate organic matter but will destroy it and solidify to form Igneous rocks while metamorphic rocks are form as result of pressure and temperature effect on both Igneous and Sedimentary rocks. i live in Omu-Aran close to Ara Orin and u can also get their through Esie and all these region are crystalline basement very far from Southern Bida Basin or Nupe Basin. Sirte Basin in Lybia rift basins which are contigous to our Benue Trough. I am a Petroleum Geologist and also a graduate from University of Ilorin. I want you all to know that crude oil can only be gotten from a sedimentary rock. Kwara State is a crystalline basement which consist of Granite, Gneiss, migmatite and Metasediments that cannot produce nor host hydrocarbons. I will be glad to see what our people are calling crude oil. I have seen and handled one thru the sample from an Oil company in Nigeria and the exposed bitumen in Onikintibi, Ogun State. Any crude oil that is exposed to the surface will have been degraded like what we have in onikintibi in Ogun State where there is a bitumen seep. Nobody can just conclude there is a commercial quantity of hydrocarbon in an environment when geophysical survey has not been carried out to know the source rock quality and thickness, reservoir type and quality and migration-entrapment style and their seals potential. I mean the PETROLEUM SYSTEM need to be first establish. I sincerely believe that what u guys have heard about crude oil is a misinformation of a mineral deposit.  wink
