It's not factual that the the women CPD were not shorter than Trump?
It's not factual that the woman couldn't holster her weapon properly?
Is not factual that the ladies looked disorganized despite been trained for situations like this?
I'm referring to the close protection detail and you're going on a totally irrelevant rant.
I'm saying that the women could not properly protect their principal, this is a fact!!!
Did you see the Reagan assassination attempt?
Close protection is not for women that are short, and cannot respond in situations that they're supposedly trained for. Agree!! world has become to focused on "equality" rather than Merit 1 Like |

Sentiments of "Zuma and Malema were once part of the ANC so understand the struggle" will probably hold sway.
Will be glad to be proved wrong.
DA and ANC will form a Government of national unity, the IFP and PA are smaller parties that have been included in the GNU, personally I like both the PA and IFP............The part I find interesting is that out of the 4 parties in the GNU 3 are against expropriation of land without compensation |

I don't care what you call it really, coalition, agreement, GNU makes no difference. If ANC goes into bed with the DA it will be the end of ANC... Those that are in will view it as betrayal to past leaders
Reality is no one wants ANC/DA except for the big business that's funding them, voters do not want it..... Ramaphosa is not liked even by people in the ANC
Big business /Wants to have invicible hand/Big brother to watch over the country by using the DA because the afraid SA may grow by aligning with BRICS
surveys suggest the opposite actually, most SAns would prefer a ANC/DA coalition, it would also make sense since both DA and ANC are more centre than the PA,MK and EFF. Also the DA supports BRICS |

ANC:40% DA: 21% EFF: 9% MK: 14% PA: 2.% IFP: 3.8% VF plus:1% ACTIONSA: 1%
ONLY WINNER here is MK of zuma.. DA has reached the glass ceiling, its only going down from here a lot of truths coming out.
If MK was not there PA would have been around 7% along with ACTIONSA, DA will never grow in SA The PA and MK have fundamental differences the PA is centre right leaning and the MK is 100% left leaning.....your statement doesn't make sense in this regard, why would people that voted MK have voted PA, when these parties share nothing in common? As for the DA, it all boils down to the next 5 years, they could potentially grow a lot if they gain more control with the new GNU the ANC is suggesting and they preform well, They have also made good compromises that could mean a solid and stable ANC DA cooperation. The EFF agreement stated it will not form part of a GNU if the DA and FF is involved and the MK won't work with the ANC unless Ramaphosa steps down, this might be either a masterstroke or a death sentence to the MK EFF since that will leave a DA ANC option only and if the DA and ANC can turn SA around nobody is going to vote for those parties again. |

That's not always the case.
The evidence we've seen are captured SANDF vehicles and at least 1 KIA.
No other evidence apart from these. Here's what we know, the vehicles a casspir and mamba of the sandf were captured by the m23 and were recaptured shortly after the ambush when SADC forces launched a counter attack, the vehicles however were damaged beyond repair since they were hit by antitank missiles and were blown up rather than being towed back to base, no casualties were recorded due to this ambush which is testament to the design and protection of the mamba and casspir. The casualty is result of a mortar that hit the base. |

Where's the evidence that many M23 were killed? The fact that the ambush was repelled would logically mean they lost significant amount of men to retreat. |

It looks like they were able to get into the the SADC base and inflict casualties.
https://x.com/deanwingrin/status/1796634822053405008 No South African base was captured or penetrated, South African vehicles supposedly captured don't have regular SANDF paint scheme makes me wonder if they are not that of other SAMIDRC countries, and 1 dead vs many m23 dead isn't getting whooped bru ![wink](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/wink.png) 2 Likes |

jl115: well obviously you did not look properly because the ANC only got 46% of the national vote, secondly the EFF didn't grow, they have reached their ceiling and their policies especially those on open borders has kept them from growing, ActionSA on the other hand only contested 6 municipalities... Only 6!! And it already got 2.5% of the national vote, the DA has recently lost white votes not black votes, neither is it a white party, simply looking at SAs demographics will prove that the DA isn't a white party you ignorantly call it, the DA has also done well in recent by elections and is currently controlling 4 of 7 major metros in Joburg, Tshwane,CT and Ekurhuleni.... They might have not grown in support but they have increased the number of metros they are controlling and they are doing very well at running those metros.
My predictions for 2024 ANC: 41% DA:25% EFF: 12% ActionSA :7% Others: 5%
Unless the EFF go into a coalition with the ANC which is very unlikely we will see a coalition government led by a DA president.
This was my prediction almost a 2 years ago.... How it's panning out: ANC:42% DA: 25% EFF: 9% MK:9% PA: 3.5% . . . ActionSA 1% Things i didn't expect then: Formation of the MK which has taken votes from the EFF and and obviously a vast chunk of ANC votes, the PA that has grown tremendously, they had a great campaign and their leader Gayton McKenzie must be applauded, they have also certainly taken a chunk of ASA votes and DA colored votes .....ASA being a fart in the wind, there campaigning for these elections as been non existent, in fighting has also greatly damaged the party. Things that are surprising me: DA @ 25% although i predicted this then the actual PR of the DA is brain dead and personally i thought they wouldn't get more than 22% MK taking 3rd spot, I knew Zuma was popular but dammmm.... EFF I honestly thought would've done better, not by much but better, they have certainly been hurt by the MK 2 Likes |

I could care less if the gumboots is $1M, fact of the matter is , we are looking at a deployed soldier in an active combat zone with an inefficient equipment. Since when are gumboots insufficient? You ever been on deployment in the DRC? Im guessing the US army, French Army, Swedish army ect ect.....oh yes and off course the Nigerian army all have a shortage of boots? Well to be fair the Nigerian army it might be true |
Foreign Affairs / Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by jl115: 6:19am On May 14 |
Shaytun:
Oh, sure, because of the terrain let’s choose a gumbo ots over a combat boot even though it has worse traction, does not fit well which will obviously lead to feet problem, less breathable also. Ignore the obvious that combat boot are made for all terrain even wet jungles and can be waterproof to.
Rational thinking there buddy bro, you think he is wearing $10 gumboots?? Again use some of that gray matter! |
