hey guys, I'd love to ask those aleady in Norway, after completing your Masters In Norway will you be allowed to stay back and work and maybe try to get a PR? Or you'd be sent home like the UK?

While I wait for those in Norway to reply, just know that the UK recently approved 2 years post-study visa for Int'l students.

Make sure your job description aligns with marketing specialist job description on the Anzsco website. Its easy for vetassess to tell you that what u do is Sales rather than marketing.I know this cause i have been through it and got a positive assessment. You also need your direct manager to be able to answer questions concerning this when called.Your degree is not highly relevant to the chosen occupation but your years of experience should cover for this.Goodluck

So the assessing agency will call my company? What if they are not in support of my quest to travel out?

Run from any job that asks you to pay money, why can't they deduct the 5k from your first salary?

First off: Impossibility is nothing; anything is possible. (You can get it)

Secondly, What you had is greater than what you are chasing. It is a false flag.

Meanwhile, you have to study for atleast 2years in Aussie to be eligible for post study Visa.

NB: If you have strong ties to 9ja, and one or two doubts clearer of DIBP, they can give you even 2 months study visa.

But do you?

You can also check the student section for an updated information and advice.

Thanks for your response.

Good day all. Just discovered this thread. I want to know if it's possible to this just to speed up moving to Australia: apply for a six months diploma programme in Australia, work while studying and then apply for the post study visa towards the end of the programme. I already have a B.sc and more than 3 yrs work experience.

I started my abroad journey here in this forum and finally got my PR in Nov 2018.
I was working in a bank here so I was able to afford money for the entire process.

Cost me about 2m exams and all including visa fees.

I left this country with my daughter she was about 2yrs old to Australia in Dec 2018 with less that AUD3k

It was really tough in the first 3months as I didn't know anyone and had a child to care for as well.
The Nigerians I met here then were not so kind but some were.

I got a factory job after a month and was able to start paying bills plus baby daycare fees.
It was really tough for me.

After 3months I got a professional job in a company I never dreamt of.
I love my job and I'm happy.

Did it pay off? hell yeah!!

I've made all I spent long time ago.
I'm comfortable and happy and love God so much because he let me go through all I did so that I can get close to him and it worked.

Sharing to encourage you all especially women.
Don't let any make you feel that you are not enough or treat you less.
Love yourself and God will always see you through.

Please how did you move? Is it express entry or student visa? Is there a thread for Australian express entry? Kindly reply, please anyone that knows should reply me thanks.

Okay. That’s true though, but even at time it’s better you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into to work on your expectations so one don’t get disappointed n desperate.

Can you explain the use of sponsorship letter and how it’ can be used...

Thanks.

I was told I'll be paying for the taxation as foundation exam then pay for the skills too separately which is by all means double payment which is not comfortable with me why do I have to pay double and not given any incentive to their update in syllabus

Is it not better you pay and write it now than wait for next diet? Who knows you may pass all at once.

I just concluded my foundation in this last may diet and preparing for this new diet of skills but this there new syllabus update has taxation taken back to foundation and I'm not seeing ican putting up any clause for people who fall in my category or people in skills who have taxation as outstanding. What I see in my profile is exam fee for only taxation and when I called their help line the person replied I have to write the taxation like that, pass and wait till next diet before I start with any skills exam. Which is just messed up. This is outright waste of my time and money. I don't want to believe I'm the only one facing this challenge

You can combine taxation with skills courses, send a mail to professionalexams@ican.org.ng stating your case & you will be told what to do, or visit their office if you are in Lagos.
