From experience, Migo does not call your contacts, they will only call you to follow up on repayment. As a matter of fact, the best loan apps you can patronize are Carbon pay later, Fairmoney, and Branch (from my personal experience with them). They don't call your contacts and they would not threaten you. The manner of approach of their representatives is commendable as they are always ready to listen to your reasons and would encourage you to make payment. Not the way some loan apps would approach you when your loan is about to be due for payment (only God knows where they employ their staff from), some will even start threatening you 2 or 3 days to the duration of your loan (and they only gave the loan for 7 days).
You should not panic, if any loan app calls or sends messages to your contacts, it is a breach of data protection policy and you can sue them for that, trust me, you will win the case as there's a policy that goes against such act. You even have the right not to pay back the loan once they indulge in such. snooping into your phone and scooping your contacts without your permission is a breach on its own. If you are able to approach them with all these when they start their threats, trust me, they'll back off as they would have seen that you know your rights and would not want to jeopardize their business.

Sparekey:

Did you pay migo and did they send msgs to your contact?

My loan will be due tomorrow and I'm yet to receive my salary.. How did you manage to settle them? And which of them didn't send msgs to your contact

Please can anybody help with this? Some loan apps like umba, Renmoney, etc. are requesting you link your internet banking details to your profile on their app, claiming it is to allow them to run a kind of credit check/score on your account to determine your eligibility for a loan.
Please has anyone done this on this loan apps?
How safe is it?
Anybody with extensive knowledge of this can also assist with helpful information

Thanks a lot, this is actually really helpful. the said client calls almost every day asking about my interest and stressing more on the payment which bothers me a little (you know) smiley. I really want to study in Germany but with the present circumstances, I am being skeptical.
Coldie:

I wish I saw this earlier I would have advised u against it.

Why pay 2000 Euros when there's a very high chance that u won't get a date. And the worst the money is not refundable.

Imagine paying almost 1m. Then applying for date over and over and over. If u finally not get a date u can't withdraw ur admission.

In India its 500 Euros they pay but I don't know why Nigeria's own is 2000 Euros.

So if Germany decides not to to give out date and the decide to switch to another country ur 2000 Euros is gone just like that. Think about it

Hi Everyone,

Please, I need assistance/advice on this school I am applying to in Germany but a bit skeptical because of the part payment of the tuition fee they're requesting before issuing an admission letter and some supporting documents.

The name of the school is Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), please does anyone have any information about this school cos I'm kinda scared as the requested amount is a bit high (2,000 Euros) and I do not want to be a victim of (you know) which is why I am requesting for support from people that has enough information about the school to kindly assist with information necessary to help.

although, it was written on their website that a part payment of the tuition fee would be made on submission and confirmation of one's application. I did submit all the required documents and I got an email that an education support officer would get in touch either by a phone call or by email. I got an email requesting for some other documents and shortly after I received a call from a Nigerian number telling me he is a representative of the school (this somehow has been bothering my mind) because I never expected to have received a call from a Nigerian (was expecting one of their citizens to be the one to get in touch).

so Fam' please, I need someone to assist with necessary information about the school majorly about the payment of 2,000 Euros and the authenticity of the school. please ill appreciate your support and advice to help with my decision making.

Thanks a lot for the anticipated support.
