Politics / Re: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by Johnny(m): 3:59pm On Nov 24, 2006
If there is any candidate that can toe the path of national development and fight corruption in it's entirety, he is M'hmed Buhari. Lets join hands together and make him our leader. We are tired of corruption and all it entails. It is high time we moved forward as a nation. Any mistake of bringing back people like IBB will be the greatest injust we will be doing to ourself; That will be great disaster. That will be to square one of corruption, drug and human trafficking, 'chop I chop', and masive looting of our treasury.
God bless Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Why Is IBB Not In Prison? by Johnny(m): 1:52pm On Sep 28, 2006
The fact that the EVIL GENIUS is not in prison now does not mean he won't go there. Infact, IBB or what so ever he is called must pay for all the suffering we are passing through today; he must be jailed before he dies.We must all put our hands on decks to stop his evil plan to succeed OBJ. Of course, if he succeed OBJ, Dora Akinyuile will be the first person to be relieved of her appointment, then Ribadu will be sent on exile. Back to square one, you may say.

Romance / Re: She Rejected Me Earlier. Now She's Back And I Have A Girlfriend by Johnny(m): 11:57am On Apr 07, 2006
Why did the relationship not hold in the first place? Did she refuse you or she gave excuses? If she gave excuses and now she has overcome those excuses, and you like her more than the new girl, then go for her. But if she refused you, maybe she had or wanted some one else and you know this, please don't break away from your new girl.
Romance / Re: Most Romantic Way to Ask, "Will You Marry Me?" by Johnny(m): 11:42am On Apr 07, 2006
If a'm dating a woman, and it is very serious; as in she is the only woman in my life and I am the only man in her life, I think the only question I need to ask her is 'when is my family meeting your family?' Most girls I have gone out with, even when I did not take such relationships serious, had concluded within themselves that we were heading to the Altar. So the idea of 'will you marry me?' should have been settled long ago in the course of our dating.

Romance / I Sent Her Away, Now Her Mother Wants Me. (fiction). by Johnny(m): 12:25pm On Apr 05, 2006
I imagine myself having a girlfriend who flirts. She stays with her mum all alone;just the two of them. As a matter of fact, my girlfriend was given birth to when her mum was just 15, which makes the woman still young and beautiful. Now my girlfriend flirts, and after much warning, I decide to send her away. The problem is, I imagine, after sending the wayward girl away the mum comes after me trying hard to lure me into establishing a relationship with her; what does one do in such case.
Note: This is just a thought!!
Religion / 'pastor's Wife Died In Lover's House', Is It True? by Johnny(m): 12:10pm On Apr 05, 2006
Did you read the Sunday Punch of 2nd April? I came accross the paper just yesterday in my Library. Can you imagine the paper carried a story that a pastor's wife died in her lover's house after having series of sex together. What is this world coming to? They said the incident happened in Lagos;there is nothing that does't happen in Lagos. Lagosians, please give details of this incident.

Religion / Re: What Is The Right Day To Go To Church: Saturday Or Sunday? by Johnny(m): 11:51am On Apr 03, 2006
Jesus Christ, while He was in the world, did not set any day aside for worship as He was seen daily doing His father's work. But He kept the Sabbath day (Saturday) holy as instructed by God Himself. Now, when He died, He resurrected on Sunday, the reason why Christians go to church on Sundays to worship God. But the Sabbath day is a holy day unto the Lord God. If Jesus had resurrected on this day, the Sabbath day, Saturday, would have been a better day to go to church, even though Jesus did not leave any instruction that we must worship God on the day He resurrected.
Religion / Re: Christians: Can a Non-Christian Go to Heaven? by Johnny(m): 11:41am On Apr 03, 2006

Religion / Re: Do You Feel Like You May Not Enter Heaven? by Johnny(m): 11:35am On Apr 03, 2006
Once you begin to feel that you will enter heaven, self-rightousness has set in, and self-rightousness itself is a sin. So let us strive continously to make heaven. It is not easy, but with God, all things are possible.
Religion / Why Do Youths Run Away From Deeper Life Bible Church? by Johnny(m): 11:28am On Apr 03, 2006
A'm Methodist by birth, but I go to Deeper Life Bible Church founded by God and Pastor W.F. Kumuyi. One suprising thing here is that adults and children make up 80% of the congregation. Where are the youths? What is your view about the church?

Religion / Re: Should We Use Images And Symbols In Our Worship? by Johnny(m): 11:17am On Apr 03, 2006
Images and symbols of any kind in worshipping GOD, to me is idolatry. And idolatry is one sin that God frowns at seriously. But then our Catholic brethren use images of Jesus and Mary in their worship, so what then do we say?let's leave the judgment for the Almighty.
Religion / Re: Who Should We Direct Our Praises To? God Or Jesus? by Johnny(m): 11:10am On Apr 03, 2006
Jesus said 'I am the way, the Truth and Life, no one comes to the father except through me'. Again he said "if you believe, any thing you ask the father in MY NAME, He will do it for you". And again, the bible made us to understand that Jesus and God are one. So we can direct our praises to any of the two without giving thought to which of the names we are using. But prayers can be offered to God IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

Phones / What Is The Worst Message You Have Recieved On Your Phone? by Johnny(m): 4:15pm On Mar 31, 2006
I was sleeping in my room on the 9th of January this year at about 11.50pm when my SMS message tone woke me up. I sleepishly fliped my phone open hoping that the message came from a lady. But do you know what? The message read "John be a man, daddy is dead", sent by my younger brother. I doubt if there will be any other message as devastating as that one. Have you recieved any of such messages before now? Please share your experience here .
