Hello all,pls let us read that same 1cor 7:12-16 in another bible translation. I go wit MSG

Vs 12-14 : For the rest of you who are in mixed marriages-CHRISTIAN MARRIED TO NON CHRISTIAN-we have no explicit command from the Master. So this is wat u must do.If you are a man wit a wife who is not a believer but who still wants to live with you, hold on to her.If u are a womanwith a husband who is not a believer but wants to livewit u,hold onto him.The unbelieving husband shares to an extent in the holiness of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is likewise touched by the holiness of her husband.Otherwise, your children would be left out;as it is,they also are included in the spiritual purposes of God.

Vs 15-16 :on the otherhand,if the unbelieving spouse walks out, you've got to let him or her go.You don't have to hold on desperately. God has called us to make the best out of it as peacefully as we can...

Question. 1.Is the wife an unbeliever?
2. Is she the one (the unbeliever) walking. out?
If these two conditions are NOT satisfed, sorry to say, then your Pastor is wrong.

I end with this, 2Peter 1:20 - no prophecy of the scriptures Is of any private interpretation.
Thank you

hayek: Hey guys, just need your advice on this. I am going in for a master in canada and have been accepted and submitted visa application at Oregun. My questions are: what is the chances that I could be issued with study permit and could this trigger my application to be given accelerated treatmentAlready I have been to canada twice 2005 and 2007 on a seperate issued visa and also I have a canadian valid visa till April 2013 (issued in April 2011). I have also been to several counries in Europe and US. I am applying as self- sponsor with $14K in my account but my employer wrote a letter that they would also support and that while on studying I would still be on their payroll. I have worked for them for the past 10 years. Your thoughts are welcome as you are more experinced on this stuffs than I do.
What more can we say? You said it all. You are already a regular visitor to Canada and from all indication you are not going to be an illegal immigrant because you could have done that when you had the chance. I guess you will get an accelerated TRV issuance. Happy for you. By the way I need a sample letter on the format you company did in assuring you will still be with them and on their payroll. Please if you can, send it to kehindegbadamasi@yahoo.com. God bless you
