Compare this GJ-D1 chart to yours, what I see on your chart is several swings between two levels and not a ranging market. I would enter many swings from your chart. Now, see the attached, this is GJ that ranged for a complete 12days; you don't want to trade in this type of market. I stay away from this pair for the 12days while I find other ones.

PS: Swing traders should not be IN during this 12days period; however, it may be good for day traders or scalpers who are on lower TFs....Again, avoiding ranging market is one of the best ways of making money.

The rule said maximum lot allowed is 0.01. That means trading a single 0.05 is not allowed. Basic English!

Body is talking about the rules, what we are saying is they should add a new rule to the former rule, and the new rule should be "those that trade only one pair can place 0.05 lot on a single trade at once"

[b]What a contest this time? Obviously getting better. And I guess some body somewhere is challenged and learning and improving. There might be reward attached to it and that is to reward those getting it right and motivate those still struggling. Personally, I have been challenged and I have come to learn much more since the contest started. Kudos to every one participating or following.

The Most Valuable player and or trader goes to @Jbinary AKA @ilovebigyansh. Surprisingly, this boss stated sometimes that he is not in the contest for the money and I was wowed by his performance because I am clearly convinced by that statement with the results.. Excellent strategy + fantabulous risk management + Decent Psychology = Rewarding Performance. As a result, I will be giving him #20,000 for that and now he has a choice to either accept the reward or nominate four people here that he will want that I give #5k to each or he just let go of the price.

@jospidos was disqualified at the last minute simply because he failed to send in his login details, despite the warnings, despite the reminders and I personally sent him emails but still no response. I hope he is safe as well. Best wishes. The rules are as important as the results. The fact that most of us do not have rules or keep to our trading rules explains the reason for the struggle in trading and outside of trading.

In your six years of trading struggling and last two years been profitable, what did you learn along the way? what brought about the transformation in your trading results? You have made great points
It's true that there are things that you cannot automate like intuition but if majority of your strategy is based on intuition, then you are gambling not trading..

In trading, there are setting conditions that has to be true, for it to trigger your entry and exit and you can automate those.

It doesn't mean that you will go and sleep, if you feel that the market is behaving abnormally, u can turn off the robot.
If you are expecting a high impact news or event, you can turn the robot off.

I can even configure the robot not to trade on certain days like Fridays or certain known public holidays or NFP..

The world is moving towards automation and any process you repeat over and over again is an example of something you can maximize with automation..

I will code your strategy, back-test it, give you the result of the back-test. And then we can run it in a demo account over a period of time. If you are satisfied with the results, you can now put it into your live trading account.

Sure sir, you can code someone strategy but the market do change and when it does that robot can't stop trading, the fact that you said you can program a robot not to trade during news event, that I kind of disagree with that cause most of the time there'll be news release � in other for u to do that you'll have to update your robot frequently and this one na work oh ���

If a brain surgeon performe a successful surgery on a patient, and the strategy and knowledge the surgeon is program into a robot, the robot can not perform a more successful surgery than the surgeon itself, why?...there is what we call instinct and experience, robot does not have instinct or gut feelings





If u are driving a car and u got to a river niger bridge and you discover that the bridge has been broken into two, what will you do?...of course u will turn your car and go back, but if it was a robot the robot will not turn his car and go back, why?...because robot do not have instinct and gut feelings, they only do what their are programmed to do, so for this reason the robot will still go ahead and cross the bridge and it will fall inside the river and the car will damage




Same also apply to Forex trading, during trading an emergency news can will reverse the market might come up, if u are trading manually u will know how to handle the news but if it is a robot, the robot will not care about the emergency news instead it will only do what it was program to do





I have tried more than 200 robot in the past, and I discover that Manuel trading is the way forward, robot is for lazy people, let him who have ear hear, #peace

Robot are automatic therefore they have no emotions in the sense that they won't close your trade before it hit TP but humans (emotion) will increase their TP target when price is approaching their TP level....


In short both have their advantage and disadvantages but i prefer not to use robot

How can someone be on nairaland since 2019 no single post on nairaland or fta.
It shows that the person Just uprooted his rusticated account to register multiple accounts on this contest

There are people that have a bank account, but their bank account is empty, why?...because they are broke and do not have money to put inside the account, but that does not mean that the bank account is useless or not active,

Now, what I am trying to say is that there are different type of people on nairaland, if someone nairaland account post and thread is empty that does not mean that they are not active, it not everybody that like creating thread or post , some of us just prefer to read and move on.
