Hi sigmond,
First, congratulations on your online newspaper. I followed the link and liked what I saw, the design is beautiful, crisp and professional. Well done.

However, the reality that most online business owners get to find out, sooner rather than later, is that having a beautiful website doesn't guarantee visitors or what we call traffic to your site.
Like any successful brick and mortar business, you need to advertise your business, even more so when it is an online business because of the ever increasing number of people online, and the huge number of competitors in your niche targeting these people.

The GOOD NEWS I have for you though, is that you can be hugely successful with your online newspaper and you can get lots of people interested in your site for their news daily.

Here's how:

1. You need to have your website ranked in the 1st page of Google for keywords related to your business. For example, there are people searching online daily for "Ghana News", and you need to ensure that when people search Google for this keyword, they will find a link to your site positioned in the first page at least,so that they can click on this link and be directed to your website. I hope you understand what I mean, I'm sure you've gone to Google.com before and typed into the search box, looking for information on a particular topic, right? Many people do this a lot for all kinds of topic. What most people don't know is that it is possible to have your site positioned in the results Google brings out. The ability to have your own site positioned or ranked properly in Google search engine (or other search engines like Yahoo and Bing) is what we webmasters and online marketers call 'Search Engine Optimization' (SEO)

I did a quick research on keywords related to your market, in order to find an estimate of people searching in Google for them, and I found some very interesting statistics. I used Google's own 'Keyword Tool' for this research and these are what i got:

For 'Ghana News': Global Monthly Search = 135,000; Local Monthly Search = 33,100.

For 'Ghana Newspapers': Global Monthly Search = 4,400; Local Monthly Search = 1,000.

For 'Latest News in Ghana': Global Monthly Search = 12,100; Local Monthly Search = 3,600.

For 'Current News in Ghana': Global Monthly Search = 2,400; Local Monthly Search = 720.

I could go on and on, but 'hey', you get what I mean right?
Anyway, what I find interesting is that when I searched for your website with the first keyword "Ghana news", not only was your website NOT in the 1st page, it was NOT in the first 100 pages in Google.com! That's bad, and that's one reason why you can't get people visiting your site: they can't find it. They don't even know it exists, sorry.

I didn't search for your positions in Google for other keywords mentioned above. You know why, I think? Lol. Anyway, seriously I usually get paid some good money to go the research I just shared with you freely, and I just wanted you to know where the problem lies...
But like I said earlier, the good news is that you can get this corrected and I can help your business get lots of traffic to your site.

OK, here's a second tip for you:
If you haven't already, please have a Facebook fan page for your online newspaper. Facebook is another giant platform to get lots of people to visit your website. When you have a Facebook fan page, and you integrate it with your website, it can do some awesome goodness for your business. I can explain in details here but I've got to go now, I have some business to run.

Okay, I agree with you. But the way you're sounding it's as if you've given up hope of receiving your money back.
Come to think of it, the guy didn't pay me my money when i asked of it, maybe if i hadn't given him another option to buy something else, i would still be in the same situation as you.

These 'gurus' sef.

See, my friend, the best thing for you to do is to report him to SDE Scam Busters, I'm sure they'll help you out. Abayomi Aje is an info marketer, and he has used the SDE medium before, so you are eligible to report him there. I'll try to contact him today to tell him what's going on here.
Don't give up on this case.

I also reside in Benin City, Gapiona G.R.A to be precise, is there a chance we could get to meet? It's always good to have a fellow IMer around. smiley smiley

Your subject line sounds interesting, but as I read the contents, i'm left more confused as to what you're really offering.
Everything looks vague, no where to actually see what we stand to get by participating in your training. The only link i saw, takes me to a page that talks about an event that has already started since April 29th! I don't understand my brother.

I think I understand how the OP feels.

I was also in the same position as him a few weeks ago but we finally got the issue resolved. In my case i didn't buy anything from him, i just paid him to help me make some purchases online, he missed the deadline for the purchase of the actual product i originally paid him for after days of receiving my money, and i demanded my money back. From there, things went sour between the both of us, Long story short, i didn't get my money back in cash but i had to settle for another product i asked him to buy. Eventually he bought it this time and we parted ways, I guess all is well that ends well.

I most note here that in my case, Abayomi Aje said he was sick and bed ridden for a long time, hence he couldn't go online, the sickness was so bad, he couldn't pick my calls either tongue

However, I don't see how making a post here will help you get your money back, other than you denting his 'image' here. You should have at least threatened him that you were going to report the matter to Success Digest Extra's SCAM BUSTERS. That's what i did in my own case and it worked.
It was an Information product you paid for, report him to SDE! It's more effective that way. The fear of Success Digest Extra's SCAM BUSTERS is the beginning of wisdom for ALL info marketers, trust me. They are no respecter of persons, they'll pick up the matter and see it to a favourable conclusion for you. They're that good.

Most times, these info marketers are not scams, they are just insensitive to the plight of the ordinary man. There's no hurry in their part, as they can't simply understand why you should be making all the fuss around N4,000

Abayomi Aje is one man I KNOW has made and continues to make huge serious cash online, i knew him at an International Forum long before he decided to enter the Nigerian Market, so i can categorically say that N4,000 isn't something he'll want to rob you off, the guy's customer service is just terrible, to be honest.

Unless you've resigned to loosing the money, and now you're on a resolve to make him pay badly by tarnishing his image, this post is uncalled for. He hasn't replied here since, meaning he's not a regular here and he's probably not seen this.
Be wise and look for other effective ways to address this issue,
Just my opinion,
Thanks.

The site is ok, the header graphics was nice. But I think you should add more contents to each post in order to get your readers stay longer on your site.
