Crime / What It Means When The Court Grants Bail In The Sum Of N20m Or Any Other Amount by jUeLiZ: 1:20pm On Apr 17
WHAT IT MEANS WHEN THE COURT GRANTS BAIL IN THE SUM OF 20M, 50M, 30, 000 OR ANY OTHER AMOUNT.

You see generally bail is a contract/agreement between a defendant (commonly called an accused person) and the court that the defendant will have a temporary liberty (right to move freely) pending his trial and shall appear in court throughout the trial. The agreement is normally in written form and is called a “bail bond”

The bail bond normally stipulates that the defendant cannot be released until he brings a surety (someone who will assure the court that the defendant would always be in court). The terms may also include a requirement that the surety must be someone who has money worth certain amount, example 50M. THIS HOWEVER DOES NOT MEAN that the defendant SHALL pay the 50M as a condition for his release. No! What it means is that if the defendant jumps bail (fails to appear in court when required and as agreed upon in the bail bond without cogent reason), his surety shall forfeit the money. But if he appears in court all the time, the money remains his own.

By reason of the foregoing, whenever you hear that someone had been granted 10M bail, know that what the court means is that anyone who is to stand as a surety to the defendant must afford 10M and shall forfeit the 10M Naira if the defendant jumps bail. Simple!

It is still floating. They already closed the parallel/normal rate gap and this FX intervention will be sold at the same market rate.

They are selling at that current #1500/#1600 rate for now until the rate goes down back. No subsidy on dollar again.

I am sure enemies of Nigeria will now be very sad.
I don't understand a thing from what you just wrote... though I really want to understand what what is ....but please will it see Naira appreciate to atleast #800 or 1k....and will prices of some products come down...?... please put me through, I'm not inclined to this area... thank you

Ignore the charlatans... They are already miserable, and want others to be the same.

That someone else fails at something doesn't mean it is a dead end.

My only issue is people going into tech without a solid background or passion for it... Those flying in solely for the perceived instant rewards... That won't work.

Take your time, and find your passion... There is a market for value created whether online or offline.

There are people earning over 600 Dollars monthly from just writing and editing. Some earn more just from email marketing and social media growth.

People will always be willing to pay for solutions to their business needs... There is a place for every serious and focused person.
please sir, one more thing. I created a thread some days ago and someone commented that registering with Aptech is more of wasting of funds. he said I won't get value for my money. I actually made in Aptech I was 410k for 5 months. The guys suggested I stick to online sites ...I don't know if you have any input concerning this. Thank you

It's always been very funny to me when people come with pitchforks to attack the tech industry in Nigeria like it's a bubble or other nonsense.

Electrical, mechanical and petroleum engineering jobs that have been seriously bastardized with barely any job openings except being a maths teacher for private secondary schools, where are the articles?

Law as a course where over 70% of the graduates end up selling imported goods from china, where are the articles?

Aside from the healthcare, every field that was once lucrative has little to nothing to offer new graduates and no one talks about it

But for tech every ekuke with internet connection go dey open their silly little mouth dey shout "it is overrated".

Ogbeni shut the fûck up and do whatever it is you want to do. Una body odor dey disturb the environment.
honestly the comments here just demoralize me..... I've started learning online...I plan to register on Aptech before the year ends for web development with python.... I'm just feeling discouraged now... please 🙏 advice me

React and boot strap are too diff things..

May be you should have asked: Should I learn React or Angular?

Bootstrap is for styling, while React is a JS fame work for build front end components..

React for building, while bootstrap is for styling.

They work together..

Lolx!

boss please say something, I need inputs from OGs.... The main reason why I'm asking is this, I'm expecting some cash by October so I want to learn web development with python. I did some findings. I contacted Tech. 365 in Lagos and they told 500k for 4 months. One of the stuffs I will learn is that react.

I also aak in Aptech.... theirs was 410k in 5 months..but I will learn bootstrap there.
Both of them teach me Django.
But I'm just confused on which one to go for, which one is selling and which one has most jobs opportunities....

Please 🙏 I need your honest input...

Though I've started learning HTML and CSS online, just to get familiar with it till October....

I know. It seems like the react is the trending deal right now.... people are talking and hyping it, making it look bootstrap is obsolete. I don't want to code for fun...I want to code to get a job.. I'm confused on which one to settle for right now.

I don't if it's possible to learn both. One at a time I mean
