Justdman does it change the kind of person you are when you tell people what they want to hear?

Missy, it doesn't but sorry should come from the heart and not lips

Even the one from the lips has an effect.

But it doesn't stop it from happening again. however, hearty sorry will never go back to do it

Missworld:

If today is to be my last day on earth, I'll reveal my innermost thoughts and my deepest secrets to those that will cherish them. I'll forgive and make peace with the so called enemies. I'll confess my sins and ask for divine mercy on my departing soul.

I bet you have to start now. I'm waiting in the confession room to hear all

and what so special about friday, Tayo?
Nairaland / General / Re: Saying "Sorry" by justdman(m): 4:38pm On Jul 01, 2005
Well, they do say sorry is not in my dictionary and its true. I rather make it up than saying sorry cos if I do, know I'm giving you what you want to hear.
Romance / Re: Can old lovers (now married) come back together? by justdman(m): 4:23pm On Jun 27, 2005
hot-angel:

There is such thing.  I am talking because  I have seen stuffs like that happen. Although it wasn't marriage. It was my cousin, she broke up with her fiance for her ex fiance because she was still in 'love' with him.  She is going to her ex very soon because she says he makes her happy than the one she was with before. You see love does crazy stuffs to people.

Please, what i understand from Hot-Angel's point is that this cousin of hers is not yet married, just friendship. let's wait till the marriage come and see what happens. Like I said b4, if it didn't work at 1st, probably it wont work 2nd.
Business / Re: Is Self-Employment Ultimately Necessary for a Man? by justdman(m): 4:15pm On Jun 27, 2005
Flint:

Justdman, there are lots of millionaires who work for people IN NIGERIA.

Well, Flint it depends on what you call a millionaire. From my own view, a millionaire in naira and not in hard currency is no millionaire. Note: a million naira is just 4k pounds (black market rate) which average 9ja in Uk could make in 3months but where is it in UK land. On this note I'd say that forthe reason that you have 4million naira doesn't make you a millionaire cos you're way behind the margin. Call me a millionaire when I have a million pounds in me bank account, not just in assets.
Business / Re: Is Self-Employment Ultimately Necessary for a Man? by justdman(m): 10:55pm On Jun 22, 2005
I think you can only be a millionaire if you are self employed. For instance, you can never be a millionaire working for someone. And even in 9ja, no millionaire is empolyed under somebody.

Our people deserve good thing, and I feel Obong is trying to say that these basics should be in place. I know we have generators but its time we consider its side effect; pollution which we should protect our people from
Romance / Re: Nigerian Girls and their love for Recharge Cards by justdman(m): 9:08am On Jun 18, 2005
Let's not forget that a lady asks for recharge card when a boy must have made a funny move. So, the love 4 it is a payment in advance.

tayotina:

Honestly, I would love to get married to a guy who is very good and active in bed.  I can't imagine myself settling down with a man who has never had sex.  Gosh!! It's going to be boring   cry

i bet you're not virgin cos a test is required to be sure. I'm with you but would be an honour to tutor her
Nairaland / General / Re: To Stay and Work in the UK or return to Nigeria? by justdman(m): 5:13pm On Jun 15, 2005
IAH i'm with you all the way. However, will only go when I have the job already i.e. not go and start searching for one( no agency or search engine for that to help).

My people, abroad is not a bed of roses unless you're into the ashes or the paper work. From experience its not easy. The job your people do here, they can't do it in Naija. Its only 2 or 3% that have their career job here.

bolasho:

Its very easy for an Atutupoyoyo guy to toast a princess Diana lady but it will be very difficult for a Leonardo DiCapo guy to toast an Atutupoyoyo lady.

Quite natural! However, I believe atutupoyoyo is just how you carry yourself: snubbing, always dirty, and stuffs like that. I've seen an ugly person that is being dying for.
Romance / Re: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by justdman(m): 3:51pm On Jun 15, 2005
IAH:

I would accept the proposal from the non-virgin because, as justdman said in the post above, there should be one guru to lead the way forward. grin I need a guru.

Please, don't lean on me. I wish you don't end up getting one who will want a guru too. What next? Disaster. Anyway, best of luck as you hope for one but don't hoard.
Romance / Re: Can old lovers (now married) come back together? by justdman(m): 3:47pm On Jun 15, 2005
Una doo! I mean, don't make enemy out of it.
Romance / Re: Can old lovers (now married) come back together? by justdman(m): 3:43pm On Jun 15, 2005
Why are they coming back again, for what? they left each other for different person which means they are not made for each other. why come back, then?

infact, once you moved on, don't look back but become enemies.
Romance / Re: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by justdman(m): 3:28pm On Jun 15, 2005
Hiya people! Please, lets not forget that sexual skills are not naturally endowed, we acquire it way or the other. So, a virgin can be sexually compatible with you once you as the guru will lead the way forward.

However, we shouldn't make the mistake of saying that virgins are potential good house wives. From my own view, its 50-50.

I conclude this way, its an honour to have a virgin as a wife, I'll be extremely happy to have one but I'm not waiting for one.

TV/Movies / Re: Who is your Favorite Nigerian Movie Star? (actor or actress) by justdman(m): 12:20am On Jun 14, 2005
Are we talking about "Best home movie stars in Nigeria" or "best Nigerian movie stars". When we say home movie star: can be anybody acting film in Nigeria with whatever he/she can borrow (phonetics and antics) but a Nigerian movie star has everything Nigerian in him/her.

Based on the above, RMD stands out, Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, Ego Boyo, Liz Benson and few others who you'll admit are Nigerians in their films. Though some are not regulars but watch every film they were in, are sought for till date eg VIOLATED 1 & 2, ONOME and others. Though I've been away for sometime now, but I bet the setting hasn't changed much. Lets be Africans in our way and proud.

Wow!, please add Nkem Owo, Aluwe and other clowns. They are the real Nigerians of all time, these people's film can make one miss an appointment. Infact, a current poll in Miami (Nigerians living there), favour these clowns.
