Update on Lydia Lawal: The lady expelled from Federal University Lokoja.

Her case has been taken up after her last post.

Good day everyone. Thank you for the help received so far.

My first post was laden with so much emotion that little or no detail was given.

The head of department called me to his office and in his exact words "there is a committee set up and I want you to talk to them as departmental president and as a member of the class that was not involved in the leakage".

At the committee I was asked questions like what do you know about the leak, I told them I knew nothing and infact I had to travel to Lagos because I lost my brother few weeks to the exam. And I heard about it just as everyone else did since two students in my class reported the issue during the exam.

The driver confessed to the crime and mentioned the person he sold it to . My name was not mentioned by the seller or the buyer because I was never in the picture. The students involved acknowledged their offences.

I do not understand the university management's decision because the two committees I faced did NOT indict me and some of the other students expelled.

Attached is the copy of the expulsion letter backdated by 7days.

I schooled there and graduated last year. I know her from afar, and I know two other persons among the 13 that was expelled. I was really shocked by the decision of the university to expel them.

The case has been on since our final exams. Yes it's true that it was leaked by a driver to one of the lecturers. This that partook in the expo scored far higher than those that didn't. Hence, the need to redo the exams.

I watched with pity on my fellow level-mates as they prepared and read all through the night for their rescheduled exams. On the day we graduated, Economics didn't graduate. I had close friends there. I felt for them.

Now, 13 of them were expelled. One is even the son of a lecturer in that school. Its really shocking, the decision the VC took. Prof. Angela Freeman Miri, It is well with you.

This cannot be their end after spending 4 years in a school with the scorching sun, the wicked mosquitoes and a host of other negative circumstances and/or situations.

It is well.

Please guys... I registered late like a week after the actual registration started and I can't see what others are seeing on my dashboard (i.e the July postponment thingy). Am I the only one or is someone else having this same issues?

P.S: I didn't pay the 3k online as i'll rather collect the call up letter from my school.

While registering, I can't remember the exact words though, but there is a part you will see an option if you don't want to pay, you click on it and things should be good.

But from what you wrote there, it shows clearly that you didn't complete your registration. I don't know how to help you though.

I'll suggest you click on the link to pay, then just scan through the page if you see the option for not wanting to pay.

I can't guarantee you that you will be registered, just try your luck.

Okay, this topic is two years old. I came very late. Anyway, I still have a contribution to make as I know someone might still read this. I was recently praying to God to grant me power from above to be able to manifest His presence anytime I handle the podium in a church or fellowship. Later while praying, matthew 11:11-12 just came to mind and I read it. I didn't really understand it but later again, while sleeping after the prayer, the meaning of the passage came to mind again and i woke up with a start. This is the meaning i got.

The disciples of old suffered great persecution and they withstood the test of time. The they didn't backslide. Now the question that was asked of me. will I backslide? Can I stand persecution? can I stand the test of time?

I know you may want to argue that this is not the meaning as the disciples were still with Jesus and the main persecution had not started by then. But this is the meaning I got from the Holy Spirit that relates to me.
