Religion / Re: Pastor Bimbo Odukoya Is In Hell? by kaghoe(m): 2:59pm On Dec 04, 2009
make we forget all these talk of pastor bimbo in hell.
1. we re not uneducated people: the bible says it is appointed unto MAN to die ONCE and after that judgment, no exceptions.
2. because some popular person says something does not mean we should swallow it all up.
as a matter of fact, this topic is such a huge joke to me, at least it reminds me that there are really foolish, dubious and fraudulent people remaining and gullible ones as well
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / What's Wenger's Problem by kaghoe(m): 11:53am On Dec 03, 2009
please, someone should give me fresh confidence.
if i was wenger, i would field a TEAM who had a BETTER fighting chance against a side who humiliated my team so as to avoid a repeat.
secondly, instead of using the carling cup to breed players, why not fight full force to at least win a trophy this season. aint it better to win a carling cup without winning any for 5 seasons running?

maybe there should be a change in his personal philosophy. most times it aint about him, nor his achievements, but about the fans out there, who need fresh belief and confidence, MY FELLOW GUNNERS FANS
Career / Re: Female Marketer Vs Her Client by kaghoe(m): 12:09pm On Jul 08, 2009
jennyo, you are not alone. it is a practice in naija for companies to employ females, especially pretty ones, as marketers thereby giving the prestigious marketing profession a thing called corporate prostitution. i know ladies who meet and exceed targets cos they give a bit more than professional service to rich male clients.
male marketers re not left out in the hands of rich madams.
my advice for u is to weigh ur odds, trust me, ur husband may not understand if he sees ur sms's or witness u being hugged by ur client. pray also,

Romance / Re: Sex After Traditional Marriage. by kaghoe(m): 3:52pm On Jun 19, 2009
why, why, why, why, why are we so RELIGIOUS in this country.
Lady gets married and wonders if she is committing a sin by sleeping with her HUSBAND, that has been joined to her, according to TRADITIONAL RITES, which is enough. just because she has not gone to the church yet,
the bible says, MY PEOPLE, not the people of the world, MY PEOPLE, GOD'S PEOPLE, perish for lack of knowledge.

honey please, enjoy your marriage and open your mind.

Travel / Re: Emirates Airline Paints Nigeria Bad On Their Website by kaghoe(m): 2:53pm On Jun 17, 2009
I dont give a shit even if they say Nigerians have horns, what matters is whether they are telling the truth or not.
What a reasonable person or country will do is ensure that all these mentioned here are properly curbed and that they do not show up on any website or news journal anywhere or anyplace again.

Nobody can say this about Dubai, fir those of us who have gone there, we can testify.
I will love my country to be that way. So what Emirates did was not bad at all,
@ poster< they rare telling the truth and we Nigerians and the govt should learn from it.

Romance / Re: My Story by kaghoe(m): 8:37am On May 21, 2009
DUDE, i believe in forgiveness and all that. But it will take a rare kinda grace for u to take back a lady who was F***ING ANOTHER GUY WITH A PREGNANCY THAT U THINK BELONGS TO YOU. Man do yourself a favour and do not subject yourself to a relationship of gross distrust and heartache.

PS: i really fell sorry for you, and I honestly hope you get over it quickly.
Family / Re: Is It Compulsor For A Woman To Know How To Cook? Would You Marry One Who Doen't? by kaghoe(m): 1:28pm On May 18, 2009
AS A PROPER ISOKO MAN FROM DELTA STATE, IT IS HIGHLY COMPULSORY FOR A WOMAN TO KNOW HOW TO COOK. grin
secondly, there is an unusual bond it creates between couples. i know a lot of men who call their wife on their way from work and say '' honey, what's for supper''. u see, they look 4ward to the meals. a man traveled to the US and called his wifey, my cousin, that one thing he misses apart from her is her cooking--- married 4 14 years.
dont get me wrong o. wives are not house helps. but i really really support the face that a woman much know how to cook.
abi u never hear say because of good food, some men go marry another woman. no be say dem drive the original woman comot from house o.
men love good food and the naturally tilt towards the source of good food, (all those campus boys, una dey feel me). one cool way to a man's heart is thru his stomach
Sports / Re: Soccer Viewing Centers - Should They Be Banned? by kaghoe(m): 12:38pm On May 15, 2009
''Nigerians are just violent bastards.''
Ibime, that's a little too extreme for a social site these, please prune ur words b4 posting on a public page. That statement is too direct and general.
Sports / Re: Soccer Viewing Centers - Should They Be Banned? by kaghoe(m): 12:12pm On May 15, 2009
I understand this concern but banning these viewing centers due to potential unrest is like banning air travel after a major plane crash. There is always a potential disaster waiting to happen in many endeavors. All we can only do is to have a substantial control over them.

On a lighter note, if these centers are banned, you have to open ur windows to those who cannot afford HITV or DSTV . grin
Travel / Re: Death Of LASTMA Officer: Lesson For All by kaghoe(m): 9:38am On May 14, 2009
i do not wish to sound like an insensitive person here-it's a man's life that's lost- but i think it is a huge lesson to all them police and LASTMA people. what is supposed to be ''govt work'' is now personal ''hammer''. tell me, if he was to arrest and hand over the driver to the PROPER authority, he will not work that hard,
Sports / Poor Chelsea by kaghoe(m): 9:55am On May 07, 2009
For the first time ever, i feel genuinely sorry for Chelsea. And the actions of them players after the the game, to me, is quite justifiable. Or is there another opinion that may help this matter?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Another Trophy-less Season by kaghoe(m): 8:13am On May 06, 2009

Culture / Re: Is Pidgin English From Portuguese? by kaghoe(m): 3:12pm On May 05, 2009
Interesting topic.
now, we have pidgin(not pidgin English) and broken English. people usually take both as same.
Pidgin is a language used for communication by parties who do not speak same language. eg, when the Portuguese came to naija, they communicated in pidgin thereby bringing about words like pickin, boku(meaning plenty).
broken is a poorly structured english, which i believe we call pidgin in naija.
this is a very broad topic and i am looking to learn more.
Romance / Re: Mistakes Women Make When Choosing a Man by kaghoe(m): 2:59pm On May 05, 2009
honest opinion, some ladies are soooooo desperate to be with a guy that guys are really having a feild day with the chics.
like ''poster'' said, they pay attention to very ''petty'' stuff. but i think a lady's particular state of being, or presence of mind depends on what she seeks from a guy.
And guys being predators, know exactly what these ladies want and hit target.
Most people will argue with this point, but ladies are at a loosing end. so they must be extra sharp,
Religion / Re: Are Reverend Fathers Qualified To Advise Couples? by kaghoe(m): 2:51pm On May 05, 2009

Music/Radio / ''d'banj Burns To Ashes'' by kaghoe(m): 1:41pm On May 04, 2009
I have seen the video, ''suddenly'' a couple of times and the end part of it has spurred some questions I still find dificult to answer. We all saw that D'Banj caught fire and burnt to ashes. Now:

Is D'Banj too hot for himself, so much that he caught fire, (which is not bad) and burnt to ashes?
Or,
Was the concept just simply messed up?

I personnally think that if i am hot, my neighbours and surroundings should feel my heat, not roast myself to ashes,

what do ya'll think??
Nairaland / General / Re: Nairaland Home Page: What Do You Think About This Prototype? by kaghoe(m): 11:56am On Apr 27, 2009
Before this suggestion, i have always thought that the pages on Nairaland need a bit of colour and interactives. Though i did not have any issues with it.
Secondly, please, if the pages are eventually modified, let the prevailing features still be available and running as in the present. Sometimes, certian features are removed or placed placed in some winding, and difficult- to- reach matrix, while an upgrade or modification is being carried out on pages similar to this.
Nice development though.
