i'm currently studying sustainable development management and the conference i wish to attend is about sustainable development. i also filled in the form that i was a student volunteer at a the recently concluded SBE16 conference. It's so disheartening that none of these were considered.

would you advise i reapply again to clarify this inconsistency issue once and for all? i really don't mind paying another visa fee

Of course not...I didn't pad it. What i noticed is that the first time i applied, i was studying economics and finance which i filled in my application, but late last year, i changed my program and i filled in the new course in the new application. In the first application, i told the VO i didn't have anyone in my country of residence, during my second interview i told the vo i have someone here.

Also, i made some errors in the first ds-160 form that i submitted, i then cancelled my appointment and submitted a new ds-160 although there were some discrepancies in the information i filled in the first and the second ds-160 form regarding my income in the first one, i filled in €1120, in the second one i filled in €520- reason being that i have a student job that pays €520 and an account with the govt where i get €670 monthly.

could these be the inconsistencies she was talking about?

here is the transcript of what transpired btw me and the VO
VO: Good morning Sir,
me: Morning
VO: Can i have your passport please?
me: of course
Vo: Why are you travelling to the US?
me: To attend the fourth annual conference on Bleep
vo: How many days you staying?
me: 5 days
vo: how long have you been in this country?
me: two years
VO: What do you do?
me: I'm a student- I'm in the final semester of a Master's prog in SDM.
Vo: Who is paying for the trip?
me: Myself- I did a summer job at Mercedes where i was able to save a considerable amount of money.
vo- Do you have any family member here?- i was gonna say no but i ended up saying yes(a distant relative-my uncle ...my dad's brother...i was just stuttering- coz the first time i applied, the vo gave me a blue paper immediately i answered no to that question
vo: he's been in this country for how long?
me: about 7 years now
Vo: You see, the American immigration system is a bit strict and i'm convinced that you are not qualified at this time.
me: Well, i applied last year, your colleague said the same thing. VO jumps in" i can see you were once refused a visa i also noticed some inconsistencies in the information provided.

** In my two applications, i didn't mention that my fiancé lives permanently in the US. We have intentions of getting married next year.Should i reapply before we get married or should i just wait until she files for me?

I had my B1/B2 visa refused today under section 214/b. I heard the VO officer say she noticed some inconsistencies in what i said during my first visa interview which was denied last year and what i said earlier today. Does that mean i’m permanently banned?

@ Nnecar...Are you sure the forms are still on sale? Coz i went to one of the designated banks today and they told me they had received instructions from Unilag not to accept payment for the PG form anymore.

@ vanderser. It,s a very simple process. Since you have the transcript, take it to a relaible courier provider like dhl or Ems speedpost. You will be given a form to fill. In the sender's section, write Exams and Records Unit,followed by the name of ur institution and address. In the receiver's section, write the secretary, school of postgraduate studies, University of Benin, Benin city, Edo state.
Most schools don't post the transcripts on behalf of students.

@ Vicjsutice, please can I apply for an Irish student visa with a fixed deposit Ceriticate? I have the lump sum fixed in my account for over a year now. Do I need to attach a statement of account or should I just submit my application with the fixed deposit certificate and a cover letter showing the genuinity of the fund?

What are the requirements for a student visa, and how much do I need to have in my account? My previous study was on part time, as such, I was excluded from the NYSC program but I haven't earned the certificate yet. Please, can I submit my application without the NYSC certificate?

@Justwise I got an offer letter from American College Dublin to pursue a Masters degree in International Business. It was stated in the offer letter that i need to pay the full tuition for the program.
please, do you know anything about this school as well as their standing in Ireland? because i'm planning to pay the tuition fee this week, so i want to be readily informed before i make the payment. I would also like to know the supporting documents required for visa purposes.
