OAM4J:

hehehe no time or you are saving face grin

You wish FA records agrees with your argument abi? Well check with FA, Loserpool only won League 1 which is now Championship grin

You wish it was called rebranding with FA claiming a new league was created in the lower division while the top leagues were renamed/rebranded, but the fact on the records of FA is that an higher not a lower league was created and winners of the old league 1 were allowed to graduate into it while the lower teams from lower divisions were allowed to continue chasing the records of Loserpool in League1/Now Championship - FACT! In fact Loserpool can increase its Championship Winning tally if it drops from premiership and wins championship again grin grin

For emphasis, Loserpool has NEVER won Premiership but yes it has won League1/Championship so many times - FACT grin grin

Good advice, they have to go down to extend and protect that record. Self relegation is recommended. Skretel and G. Johnson to start scoring own goals.

The same link : http://www.premierleague.com/content/premierleague/en-gb/about/history.html
says "The Barclays Premier League has now been contested for 21 seasons " 1992 - present

and this link : http://www.fl125.co.uk/records/past-winners
shows that the Div.1/Championship, Liverpool's comfort league (where they won 1 million trophies) has been on since 1888 and is the same as present day Championship.

The dude is suffering from dyslexia. Liverpool has not won the EPL - The EPL is NOT part of the football league as the previous division one ( now championship) was.

First Division NEVER became the premiership. The teams who formed the EPL left the first division - they left it behind along with its trophy. The first division only became the championship.

You may need to break it down further for him to understand. I don try.

English Language comprehension is a major problem here. There is not much I can do to help your stupidity.

When the Premiership was 'created', maybe the teams were populated with top teams from the continent and not the usual teams such as Man utd, ASSnal, Everton, Nottingham Forest, etc.

The old table exists because the Division one name was given to the old Division two.

All these dribbling just to make an asinine point. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Now you agree that you guys have never won the Premiership, what you won was the old league . . . whatever it's called.

Okiks even gave you expo, emphasizing on "EPL" with date of formation but you were inspired by DK and the other nàked supporter to run down a rabbit hole with your argument.

The table clearly states what was created and what was changed.

EPL was created in 92/93 (not about a name change)
Divisions 1, 2 & 3 changed to The Championship, League 1 and League 2 in 03/04

Trivial issue but no come dey show popeye muscle for here anyhow.

You should caution your brothers and sisters not to go looking for trouble with their bigger and stronger 'neighbours'. Where I come from, all call-outs must be answered. It's mandatory. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Just let Liverpool be and I will let ASSnal be. Any reference to liverpoo, loserpool, etc will result in the customary shishi.

DK dey beat supporters club drum for you, you sef dey dance follow am. grin grin grin . Na you find trouble come our house.

Please tell us what was different between the Division 1 race in 1991-92 and the premiership race in 1992-93?

See 1992 Table

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991%E2%80%9392_in_English_football

See 1993 Table

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992%E2%80%9393_FA_Premier_League

In 1992, Luton, Notts County, and West Ham were relegated' Ipswich, Middlesbrough and Blackburn were promoted from Division 2.

Please tell us what was different between both years.

It is your analogy that is not only off-point but moronic.

A father and son can exist at the same time but Okikiade can only be Okikiade, even if he changes his name to Agbalumo.

Lollolzzz !!! How else can I say it ? I don't write hirongo. grin grin

. . . . and what about the tables ? That they had almost the same teams present in the inaugural year doesn't change the fact that they are different.

Those teams together with the new entrants (Ipswich, Middlesbrough and Blackburn), resigned and broke away from the old league (Football League) forming/creating/giving birth to a new league (PL).

Both tables still exist today and belong to different leagues;

Here is proof that the old table still exists (1888-date) : http://www.fl125.co.uk/records/past-winners

Loserpool (champions 89/90) can be found under the same column as current champions, Cardiff (12/13). - same table showing the power of continuity.

. . . . and focus on the use of the word created vs changed. You cannot "create" something new and say it is the same as the old. (again, it is not just about a name change)

The premier league was created in '92 and is 21 seasons old. Liverpool has never ended the season at the summit of the EPL table (Okiki's point) - fact. grin grin

On the list of past EPL winners, the name LIVERPOOL does not feature and you guys have never been crowned EPL champions. grin grin

keywords : create, form.

Katsumoto:
How can a league which is contested by the same teams suddenly become 'higher' just because the name of the competition was changed? Did Madrid, Milan, Munich start competing in the EPL? What made it greater?

What makes the EPL greater than the championship (Div. 1) ? If it wasn't obvious then in '92, I'm sure it's as clear as 7up now. If you still don't see the difference, Loserpool can consider suicide relegation to get a taste of it. grin grin

uromi.com:

i don't think u have ever been out of Nigeria no disrespect ooooo i have been to so many countries and i find out that even the Nigeria we call pit is far better than those countries we so much worship ........

Nigeria is tax free for the citizen
in Nigeria u don't pay water bills.........(bore holes every where water is free)
in Nigeria u don't pay bills compare to UK and other countries that we worship
Nigeria don't pay car tax
so many things to be pointed out

some other Africans countries like stinky Ghana will be comparing them self been to Ghana last Christmas i must tell you Accra stinks like pu...ssy

"Nigeria is tax-free for citizens" ? I hear this all the time and I wonder where you guys get your info from, I paid taxes when I was working in Nigeria, companies and businesses pay taxes too.

"Nigerians don't pay car tax " ? Is car registration in Nigeria free of charge ? NO - That's a tax.

Taxes are not as high as what is charged in other countries but it's definitely not tax-free.

Nigerians pay utility bills directly to PHCN or indirectly by buying diesel for your gen, paying maiguard or by sinking your own borehole.

Anyway, there's nothing bad about other nationals seeking Nigerian citizenship. It's partly for the same reason Nigerians seek dual citizenship too, to be able to fully explore opportunities in your location without restrictions and in Nigeria, the opportunities are there for sure.

That's a silly question.

You go by Okikiade but your parents also named you Agbalumo. You get to secondary school and folks make fun of your name. You decide to use Agbalumo. Do you become a different person for instance, Naijababe? Aren't you still the same dullard that was born on day XX of month YYY in the year 19XX? grin grin grin grin grin

"Off-point" analogy.

The EPL was not just renamed , it was created, formed, generated, produced, spawned, born, etc etc,.

Papa and pikin are 2 different entities

Naijababe's kid is not the same person as Naijababe herself that was born on "day XX of month YYY in the year 19XX".

The football league gave birth to the EPL; in this case, a league of higher status.

Final word : Loserpool may have won the 'lower status' football league in the past but they have never won the EPL.

"Gunners shoot down the Scousers", how cliche. cheesy cheesy

Mehn, Rosicky is a bad old man, lil' mozart was all over the place chasing down every ball, I hope Wenger took him off to rest for Dortmund and it's not an injury.

Rambo is still on fire, even in his tiredness, he's unquenchable, lovely strike for the goalazo.

Carzola is getting back to normal, good goal too. Arteta, got me scared a couple of times especially when Henderson had so much space to run into and Arty didn't come across. Thank God for Hendy's useless effort.

Wilshere and Gibbo join the long list of absentees, I hope they're not too serious. Haters beware, we'll be deadly when they all come back. I shook my head when I saw our scanty bench today.

Special mention to the defenders and everyone else. Good game, 3 points, marching on, where's that EPL trophy? cheesy cheesy
