Dear members,
I trust we are all doing great.

I helped my sister with her application for a tier 4 visa and I believe she met all the requirements. However, we are worried that she was not sent a decision mail from the UKVI, she only got an email that a decision has been made from teleperformance.

Could this be suggestive of a visa refusal? After reading through the forum , I noticed most successful applicants get an email from UkVI before teleperformance.

Please has anyone gotten a visa without receiving an email first from UKVI.

Would appreciate your responses to help allay her fears.thank you
my sister got the visa.Thank God.It means the email thing from UKVI doesn't necessarily confirm anything.

hello everyone...
I tried looking up ready made and treated issues here to see if i can get the right answer to my question, but since am still confused i rather ask out.
My flight is for 13th September.
what and what and what should i expect from immigration officers?
what can i pack and what can i not?
what should i do to be fully prepared and what should i not?
Please i need answers from people who has really been through the process and ASAP!!!
God bless us all
when I travelled in 2013, I packed literally all kinds of food without any issues. No raw meat or the likes. At the border, I was asked for my admission letter , where I would be studying and staying ,and my passport was checked. In terms of prep, all I did was make travel and accommodation arrangement and made sure I had enough cash for my living expenses.
I hope this helps.cheers

My brother got a decision mail from teleperformance and didn't receive any from UKVI. He got his visa. So just chill and pick up the passport when it's ready for collection. It's nothing to worry about.
thank you very much .That's a bit relieving.will wait now for the collection mail.

Thank you.

I just checked the hotel now it has been fully booked for that period. i am supposed to go with some other people and they have applied for visa with the booked hotel. can i book another hotel now to accommodate all of us ( which was what we had before). or just book for my self alone
Were u all meant to share the same room?Think u sud book yours but remember the hotel has to be in close proximity to where u ll be visiting

But the details i have inputted in the submitted application will have to change then. or must i try to book the same hotel i used the address in the application form. and what will i do to the price of accommodation already filled in the form.

Thanks
Yes,u ve to make hand written corrections on the form. You can book the same hotel but I am not sure they are very reliable ,except the cancellation has to do with something on ur end.I tried to book a room that was still within the same price range so I didn't ve to change much in the cost section

Morning Pals,

I just submitted my UK visa application but when i check my hotel booking today it has been cancelled. please advice on what next to do as i have already filled the cost of accommodation and address of the hotel. my biometric capturing is still later today.

Please it is urgent

Thanks
I was in a similar situation. What I did:I had to book another hotel. After which I replaced my old accommodation details with the new one on the printed form.I cancelled the initial one on the form with a pen and I attached a covering letter explaining the changes made.Got my Visa.

Hi good day gurus in the house justwise and Vicjustice you guys have been doing a great job. please i need advice. i am a medical doctor married with a daughter planning to go write plab in the Uk in june. first time applying for Uk visa, i have read most of the other comments but my question is this, my salary account is about 100,000 presently though about 1m is fixed, savings has about 1m as well but has large amount of money moved in and out as my father pays in money for some stuff i have to do for him. my question is this will this be an issue for getting visa, can i use 3 to 4 bank statements. lastly my fathers account is very good so can i just use him as a sponsor, but i am thinking since i am working class and i am applying for tourist visa wont it be somehow that my dad is sponsoring. pls advice from the house
Hi.I am a doctor who is currently registered in the UK. I am just wondering why you are applying for tourist visa instead of the business visitors visa for doctors.Which of the plab exams are you going to sit,1 or 2?If it's The second one,a business visa will be more appropriate.
Good luck with the exams

So my sister had her interview at the embassy today and it was gruesome. The interviewer asked her if she had dependants, was married and lived with anyone.she responded no to all the answers.I am skeptical she will be given a Visa as these were the main questions. We can only hope for the best.

Happy new month House. My sister used her friends address as where she would be staying in UK,with friends consent. However,After submitting her online form, her friend called to cancel this arrangement, says she is expecting family during same period. Can she cancel d friend' address on the printed application and replace it with that of d hotel she wants to book now.And write a cover letter explaining the reason behind d change of address.
Any suggestions please?

Hello House. Please just a quick question. My sister left the UK the day her visa expired but she was stamped in the following day in Nigeria cos she boarded a night flight. Now she intends to attend my grad in UK,does she have to provide any proof of when she left UK?She is concerned cos her stamp shows she arrived a day after her visa expired.
Any advice please?

You don't need to worry about the inactivity in his account, get documents to back up the source of that money....his payslip and salary account if he works
Thanks for responding to my query. He has an employment letter and a salary account, but most of the money in the domiciliary account was from savings accrued prior to this present job.So his present salary will not suffice as the source of money in his domiciliary account.
Any advice as to what to do,please?Should he just attach a covering letter explaining it's from his previous jobs?

Happy Sunday everyone. I have a number of issues that I need help with regarding my general visitors visa.To begin,I am applying for this visa so I can attend my graduation following successful completion of the program 4 months ago. However,my dad is my sponsor n he has sent a consent letter n his bank statement to me.On reviewing his bank statement today,I discovered it's a Domiciliary account with no activity for nearly six months but with a balance of over 12 million.I am a bit worried about the inactivity affecting my application negatively. And there is no evidence on d statement of the source of income.please any advice or am I just over thinking as he said.
Can anyone please offer me advice regarding my post.My appointment is in 2 days.

Your dad will be sponsoring your application for visitor's visa to attend your own graduation in the UK?

I meant the trip,not application.

Trust everyone is having a weekend.Regarding the visitors visa for my graduation which my dad will be fully sponsoring, will his bank statement of 6 months, consent letter and my birth certificate suffice? His statement only shows withdrawals,no deposits. But the balance is over 12M.

Saucy Dolph: Good day
Happy Sunday everybody. Please a friend of mine submitted 6months bank statement. He told his father 28days but probably he forgot n printed 6months. The next day was his appointment so he submitted it like that. Is there any implication cause he is soooo scared?
This waiting is killing me ooooo undecided grin
He shouldn't have any problem if he provided all the other supporting documents like a birth certificate.I printed a 9-month statement and I got my VISA.stay calm
