OluwaMichelle: WARNING... LONG ARSK REPLY AHEAD Does it not bother you that the leaders do not obey the GS due to their overzealousness? I don't have a problem with this wedding but I know someone must have been suspended in the past for the dress and limo. When goalposts changes according to the personality involved then it shows a structural problem. |

Sincere 9gerian: And you think he is the best from Sokoto state? By the way, your argument should have avoided the quota issue and made stronger if you blame PDP objectively. Anyway he use to be the Attorney general of Sokoto, maybe he is bad public speaker. Me thinks you measure him per his portfolio and how he has achieved his ogas youth vision . 1 Like |

We all know about the power supply situation in most parts of the country. So for a new manufacturing company that wants to save costs on power, any hope? Could a better process design help? Could setting up your business near a gas plant help? Or buying energy efficient equipment Or whatever In your experience as business people or workers, how have you saved power costs? Just curious |

We always mix forgiveness and Trust. Forgiveness let's go of the past, trust governs future behaviour. I would forgive a cheating partner but moving forward depends on how we solve the problem. Cheating is a consequence of a deeper problem how we resolve the problem will govern the future. 2 Likes |

Unity school students account for just 2% of the secondary school students population in this country. The current admission criteria is 40% merit, 30% national, 30% catchment areas. The Southeast has more kids even in non southeast states. So in Imo for example based on this criteria at least 60% are Igbos. Let's talk about fixing the schools to achieve its goals efficiently. Why we keep talking about this is irreprehensible, irresponsible and shameful. Una no dey tire for this anti Igbo blame game? Smh |

DerideGull: Do you have any numbers? FAAN manages airports, airline business is not a big money spinner but if you have demand it works. Based on the PH numbers you are the only one searching, it's that simple. Point is, rather than political it is demand and supply. |

Why must everything have to be seen through the eyes of tribalism? I am Igbo and if I was President I won't upgrade Enugu to an international based on the numbers and traffic statistics. Osubi airstrip in Warri handled more domestic traffic than Enugu in 2012. What we should be saying is why are folks not using this airports? Even Port Harcourt international numbers is rubbish but at least government dey manage. Please folks chill and before you argue visit FAAN website for details. Here www.faannigeria.org read the statistics. |

Dear Mark as a retired general you know nothing cos my brothers on NL especially, will fight with their keyboards while based in America and Lagos. They would rather blame the civil war for the lapses in development than their leaders who feed fat, fight each other and support whoever has the money. ![]() |

Security votes an idiots guide. A father had 36 sons. Due to the high number of sons he decided to give them money to protect themselves. The father is influential, controls the city and even the police so the money to his sons are just added benefit for his sons So what does his sons do with this new found money which the father insists will not be accounted for.? 1. They could divert it to other interests like buying computers for deserving kids or share with his bad friends drinking and women . Father doesn't care just spend it. 2. He could actually use it to protect himself more by maybe buying more phones/cars for say the police but the problem is remember the father controls the police and hence what can he do? Let's say the father assigned him 100 policemen to protect him and they have cell phones each, if he buys more that's one cell phone too many plus he can't hire his friends to protect him, it must be the one his father provides. Plus if he buys too much the father could take it and hand it over to his squandering brother. The security votes issue is quite a conundrum but it is free money for good or bad. |

You need to calm down and talk with your wife about this in a non condescending, non judgement al manner. Give her more responsibility. What is her passion? Since you mentioned she has changed. A lot of times you could set business she is not passionate about and you lose your money and are back to square one. Secondly you need to help her do chores. Not sure if you have kids. But make work fun at home by doing it together in a sexy manner too ![]() Buy appliances to help like washing machine or washer person. Truth is most men think women are super human but come on make her tasks easier. Lastly who are her friends? In all this pray and confess positive words in her life. 1 Like |

What has social media activism achieved really? Its like the roof telling the foundation, what has it achieved ![]() The major cause of every conflict in this world is when one person or group feels his way is better than others. We can have both and the impacts should be based on contexts really It is an arrogant statement. 2 Likes |

Duru1: There are certain things in Nigeria that fall exclusively within the domain of federal government of Nigeria. When federal government built MMA and NAA in Lagos and Abuja respectively, the OP would have inquired why respective states not build the airports. First of all, the government is no longer in business of building monumental stuff especially with calls for federalism plus no money really, this is not 1970s anymore. Plus this is a road and doesn't affect the security or sovereignty of the nation so the FG can afford to play political games with it. The way I see it if something will improve the lives of my people then I will do all there is to get it especially with broken promises of the past. Waiting for FG because they built MMA while my people suffer doesn't sound sensible to me. |
![]() |
The cost of a 100 billion is highly questionable and depending on sources the cost range varies. If the FG wants to make a 6 lane it is totally different if a state decides to take on the project. If I am a Governor I would do without any frills, no London bridge or hanging bridge just like the Murtala Bridge over the Benue as long as it is structurally sound we be good and a 4 lane will do perfectly. Plus the governor can go in partnership with other states like Delta or private companies, the project is very sellable if there is vision. Waiting for the FG and their gazillion lanes and golden parkways is a long thing... |
![]() |
For the past 25 years, every sitting President or Minister of Works promises that "Niger bridge would be repaired and the second bridge will commence soon". As we all know nothing has been done to that effect. I have lived in Onitsha in the past so I kinda understand how important a second bridge will help the city in areas of transportation, employment rates, agriculture, real estate values and even tourism (if an open space is added for markets underneath). In 2013, Anambra budget is at N110 billion, if the state government dedicates 0.005% (half of 1%) to the project for five years, it would be able to build a structurally sound bridge that could pay for itself in a few years if a toll gate is added at the Onitsha end of the bridge. So the question is: Why can't the state government build the second bridge, if they truly believe it is so important to the economy of the state? NB: Please no tribal insults, I just want to know why its not a solution at this time plus am Igbo ![]() Thanks! 3 Likes |

Sule Lamido for the past few years has been groomed to become a future President of Nigeria, whether that would be 2015 or not can't say but he will be up there when a Northerner takes over. Under his leadership Jigawa State is growing and he has improved greatly the infrastructures in the state. I am particularly happy for his vision in educating more women in the state as a means to reduce poverty. In the long run this is the real solution to violence in the North and he has focused greatly to make it work. He has one of the highest budget allocation on education in the country and that is no mean feat. So yes he is a Presidential material. http://allafrica.com/stories/201305300865.html |

Pets dont have a chance where people love bush meat. ![]() It is sociological and psychoological too. You think of pets when you can actually feed yourself. Apart from security folks do not see the need for them. In other countries people keep pets as companions but we are a close knitted community. Plus everything is based on economic development. Vets per capita is low so I wont even suggest pets until we have more practicing vets. Bush meat feeds a lot of people |

This is assuming that the guy is perfect. It takes two to make or break a marriage. Everything also depends on context. A wife deserves to be loved so telling her husband who has forgotten is no crime. It is what the bible commands husbands to do. 3 Likes |
