The annoying part is that it happened so fast

It is honest to say we missed PDP or President Jonathan. If truth be told and based on all known economic statistics, not propaganda.

When Governor Obaserki pointed out the wrong this government was doing by asking the CBN to print money to finance the budget, some fools came after him that it was been political. Now we can see the whole thing playing out. Buhari is a scam, a thief a very corrupt individual .... Some Nigerian fell for his Mr. Integrity nonsense. Osinbajo was used to actualize the scam, both were proving they are poor men by drinking tea with a sachet of milo and milk. Sha... We are not a serious nation, there were unthinkable things Bihari did and got away with, yet we could not learn anything from the nonsense he did. I don't like using the word may god help us, that's a lazy man's word or unserious forks words. God can not be involved in indolence. I rest my case here.

Travel / Re: Applying For Nigerian Visa Reissue Online by kelvinovie(m): 4:28pm On Aug 09, 2022
The corruption in the system is much. I had a similar experience with my driver's license. I paid online for five years renewal driver's license. Authorization and approval were successful I printed the copy. I waited for three months, to get my driver's license card from the location I ask to be delivered. This payment was in 2015, and until now, the card is not ready. I have gone back to the road safety office where it was supposed to be delivered to me several times, but they keep telling me the card has not been sent to them, one other reason they keep telling me is why I went through online to apply. That I might not get the card, because I applied online.
There was a day some policemen arrested me because I tender an approved printed copy of my driver's license to them. They indicted me because I have a printed copy of my driver's license after several years and I am supposed to have gotten the card. I told them it was not my fault. I told them I have gone to road safety office to collect the card on several occasions, but the card is yet to be sent from Abuja to their office. The police officer even accuses me of exploring a cheap way on getting my driver's license, that in this country you go through the office, and make an extra payment for you to get what you want. My brother na so this country be oooh. Anything online, that has to do with a government official one has to bribe before you collect your documents. The online stuff is mostly the official payment rate but the danger is that you may not get what you applied for.

When stupid buhari took over power from GoodLuck Jonathan, he say the previous administration did nothing, he met no infrastructure on ground. That there were nothing on ground he met. Now, 2020, he wants to sell off what previous administration built. If nigerians don't see that this man called buhari is mad upstairs, me I see it. Buhari, you can not build your own infrastructure and sell it, it's GoodLuck Jonathan's own you want to start selling? I pity your life. Life itself is an irony. What you can not build, don't destroy others that build theirs. Karma is really a bitch.

The government and the disco's are deceiving the masses. I use a postpaid meter and the increment has been done since September. For September bill, a unit was charged for ₦53.02 band C. So hearing the government, say by November 1st the new rate will take effect from this month is disheartening. Government of deceivers and fail promises. No hope for this country i swear.

The support staff of Kaduna refining and petrochemicals company a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has just sacked about 200 support staff on 31 march 2020 without proper consultations.
Just at the time, the support staff are expecting their jobs to be regularised having served the corporation for several years ranging from 10-15 years in the production and maintenance departments of the refinery with meager salaries without Hazard or Medical allowances and made to work under hard condition over the years.

The disengagement has come after been deprived of participation in the just concluded recruitment exercise which criteria was not favorable to most of them and in other to pave the way for the newly intake the exit door was shown to the vast experienced staffs.
Precisely on the 4th and 5th of November 2019 an oral interview and verification exercise was conducted which rekindle the hope of these hard-working staffs that better days are ahead, only to be shocked by the directive from their management that their contract should the terminated with an outrageous severance package.

The entire support staff of KRPC is calling on the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the NUPENG to come to their aid at this time when the whole world is ravaged with the COVID-19 pandemic to see that their source of livelihood is protected by the virtue of been financial members of the NUPENG and in the spirit of INJURY TO ONE IS INJURY TO ALL.

We are also calling on the President of the Faderal Republic of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) and the honorable Minister of State for Petroleum Timipre Silva to use their respected offices to prevail over the action of the management of the
NNPC. Going by the directive of Mr president that no worker should lose their job at this time of this coronavirus pandemic.

1,000 New Recruits: Movement tackles NNPC over sack of 400 support/casual workers
Delta State Peace Movement, DSPM, has hinted of strong moves by some traditional rulers and host communities in Delta State, to tackle the management of NNPC and its subsidiaries, over alleged sack of 400 support/casual staff of Warri Refining and Petro-Chemical Company, WRPC, in a bid to accommodate the, “over 1,000 newly recruited graduate trainees”.

In a statement made available to Fresh Angle International, Tuesday May 5, Delta State Peace Movement, stated: “The latest turn of events have drawn the ire of not just community and prominent political leaders, who have made inestimable efforts and embarked on several journeys in recent months to the Nation's capital, Abuja, where the matter is still pending before the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions, with a view to finding amicable resolution to the issues, but also, of the traditional rulers, the Olu of Warri and Uvwie kingdoms.”

The statement signed by Chairman and Secretary of DSPM, Chief Moses Akpojovwe and Comrade Oritsegbemi Awaori, respectively, stressed: “Added to this highly volatile mix is the question of regard (or lack thereof) to the rule of law and respect for constituted authority by both the NNPC and its subsidiary, the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, WRPC, given the way and manner the NNPC/WRPC have conducted themselves so far.”

“Otherwise, how can one explain the flagrant disregard for a subsisting order of the House Committee given during the hearing of Dec 13th 2019, which expressly directed that the status quo (with respect to downsizing or continuation of the recruitment process) be maintained, by going ahead to sack the bulk of WRPC's Casual Staff and announcing the resumption of new intakes.

“The action of the NNPC/WRPC leaves much to be desired given that it had, at a previous hearing, which it failed to attend, written to ask for a rescheduling of proceedings to the 29th of April to enable it come up with appropriate response.

“The NNPC never waited for the 29th April scheduled date before moving to undercut the whole ongoing process at the National Assembly, embarrassing the institution of the Legislature.

“The timing of the NNPC/WRPC action in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and at the onset of the nationwide lockdown occasioned by the health crisis, is also curious to say the least.

“It brings to question whether the decision makers at the Nation's apex oil firm actually have any modicum of human face in the conduct of their business.

“As a testament to the cruelty of the NNPC/WRPC action, within days after over 400 casual staff were sacked, a Casual Staff Operator, who was by now forced to do the extra job meant for more persons and all alone in remote location, slumped and died on the field before he could call for help.

“Less than a week later, another Casual Staff of maintenance department who was also sacked, gave in to the trauma and died from the ensuing complications.

“Indeed, there is no doubt that we are in economic trying times, both at national as well as on the global stage, particularly with increasing instability in the oil markets, further exacerbated by the coronavirus emergency”, DSPM emphasized.

While warning that, “dark days seem inevitably ahead as the struggle by the casual staff of the company (majority of whom are indigenes of the host communities) for conversion to permanent staff, appears to be reaching an unsavory climax”, the group averred that the over 400 support staff purportedly fired by WRPC, “are graduates with Masters Degrees in relevant fields)”.

The NNPC had in a statement issued by its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Dr. Kennie Obateru, noted that the assumption of duty of the graduate trainees marks the successful completion of the 2019/2020 recruitment exercise.

Then why is Buhari still travelling up-and-down to seek for foreign investors to come to invest in Nigeria.
