TV/Movies / Re: content deleted by kemmy(f): 5:10pm On Sep 07, 2005
Remedy, you have just hit the nail on the head.

But on the other hand, in Nigeria now producers don't want to spend money "unnecesarily" by having to "spoon feed" a new talent before you are known young or old..........you go sweat and when known the best thing is to make good use of the opprtunity.............type casting or not.......(make the money before you star shine finsh), if not what will they do.

And for people like them it doesn't get easier because writers don't put them in mind when they write story lines.

Romance / Re: The One You Love or the One Who Loves You? by kemmy(f): 1:49pm On Sep 07, 2005
Me too o, the one who loves me. But it would also depend on my take on the person.......I have to at least see my self learning to love that person back with time......if not.............it's not worth it.

I could easily say the one I love, but I can only speak for myself......and no one wants to be used........

Politics / Re: Cameroon, Nigeria, who owns Bakassi? by kemmy(f): 4:22pm On Jul 15, 2005
The International court of justice don't know the people living in Bakasi.Anyway, omo oko will always come back home....ask HongKong,Guam,Nigeria, and all other places that has always been given out politically. It's just like saying Britain owns Nigeria(in the early 1900s).
Politics / Re: Will Christian Leaders bring Integrity to Nigerian Politics? by kemmy(f): 8:13pm On Jul 06, 2005
Coincidentally I just got back from class and the topic was on Leadership.

Leadership is about influencing people for a particular course and if you notice, there's always a "PURPOSE" when you think of any known leader....Mandela,Bill Clinton(Politics),Adolf Hitler,Winston Churchill(War),Nnamdi Azikwe,Awolowo,Tafawa Balewa(Independence),Bill Gates,Emegwali(I.T), and so on.When you start to dilute that PURPOSE, people get confused and with time you lose followership.

I believe if you are a church leader or any religious leader for that matter, stick to that purpose, build people of high integrity and trust that they will become great people in any field they find themselves......politics inclusive.
I don't believe that any church leader can directly, by being the President of Nigeria, take us to the promise land, will they put only pepole only they know in offices?. It's just me saying my own sha!
Politics / Re: Was Murtala Mohammed a good man? by kemmy(f): 7:54pm On Jul 06, 2005
Kazey, you'll be surprised by how much of the past will determine the future, especially when it is the case of Nigeria. Too much cases - and too many diverse people involved here - with their different values.

I've alwayes believed some that things happen so the worst would not happen (bi eyi o s'ele). So, if MM was killed then, he was probably going to be the worst leader we could get. Thank God he died at a time people would have fond memories of him. So also the case of Abiola, even Abacha. Yes, Abacha. Who knows what he could have done if he was elected the President of Nigeria? That is why I'm optimistic about this Babangida issue too. God will always be God!
Politics / Re: Against Babangida.com Website by kemmy(f): 7:39pm On Jul 06, 2005
Knowing how politics is run in Nigeria....Kazey seriously, truthfully,do you think the vote of the average Nigerian matters in this?

We can only pray that the people at the helm of affairs in these political parties don't appoint him as their flagbearer(if oju kokoro will allow them to).......or God does HIS wonders when the time is ripe!.......I believe,it's up to Him now.
Politics / Re: Cameroon, Nigeria, who owns Bakassi? by kemmy(f): 7:33pm On Jul 06, 2005
Kazey, that your logic no work o!Even if I get something,....so long as I no give anybody out of my own freewill, they have no right to take it from me,......if that is what happens, the situation is called "STEALING",.......simple as ABC!

If anyone knows the true situation about Bakassi, feel me in.....Angela take note!
Nairaland / General / Re: Women with both Beauty and Brains by kemmy(f): 5:43pm On Jun 28, 2005
Seun,Bianca is Ojukwu's wife.

Matix,what are you saying.....that if you're beautiful and a model or a beauty queen,.....then you're not inteligent?.....I don't think so!
I have a beauty queen in my class and I tell you, she's one of the most intelligent you can find around. She even tutors in Managerial Statistics(MBA Class),she rep.India.

When we talk of beauty and brains,we are not talking about those who "daddy" helped to the top o,we are talking of "cold sweat" kind of climb to the top of any career path one chooses.

I am proud to say that whether you like it or not, there are lots of beauty and brains around.
if you use your mind and not your "eyes" to look, you'll find them.

By the way.....is the hot bachelor you?
