Everybody is advised to stay off London. They are not responding to Nigerian's passport because it's not under their jurisdiction. They are presently giving a timeline of 8 weeks or more. Some people have started requesting for their passport to be returned. It's a messed up process already. JohnyF: |

Not gotten yet. Guess my case is a one-off. It normally takes between 2 to 5 days, so you can just wait a little longer. JohnyF: 1 Like |

Number one, you make it sound as if PhD is an easy fit. Anyone who is not interested in academia would never want to go for a PhD. It looks more like you shipping her to a foreign land for your own selfish benefits, even though I know this is not the case. If you really want to relocate your family as a whole and you want your wife to oblige, you guys have to go together *as a family*. It's all shades of wrong to push her to go do something she's not interested in with her family not right beside her. Also, for someone who hasn't worked for 11 years, she would have grown lazy over time and less motivated to do other things than to take care of her family. So just dead the idea or better still, y'all relocate together. 1 Like |

I feel you, I'm a huge fan of being frugal in spending, but not at the expense of maximum comfort. We are only promised today, tomorrow is not guaranteed. I can't work my ass off, only for my kid to enjoy all the benefits and comfort that comes from it. A nigger can drop dead any time, so I'm gonna enjoy my life while investing for the future and retirement. welzyj2: 3 Likes |

When I started jogging too, I almost gave up. Different typed of pains I had, but with time, they gradually went away. What I eventually learnt is that you need to take it slow. Start from as small as 2km a day if possible, watch what happens with the pain, also have rest days too, don't jog everyday. The key is start small till you can take up elongated distances. |

I used to encounter this your problem from young age and still do till now sometimes. What I figured out in my own case was that if I enter a moving car without eating, I will def have motion sickness. So once I noticed this, I don't leave my house without eating. Even if I'm leaving home 4.am, I must eat normal breakfast before stepping out. So my advise is for you to try this and see what happens. Afam4eva: |

I'm not trying to justify cheating or any of sort, but these things are glaring and it's even proven from the bible. David was a philanderer, Solomon married 700 wives and had 300 concubines, we can go on and on. Men are are polygamous in nature, I know it's a bitter pill to swallow. That's why men need to be highly disciplined not to cheat on their woman. And this takes only the grace of God. Pavore9: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Worth every penny if you still need your certificate to move up your career. One thing about first degree is that it's very important, the grade. Doing a PGD or direct Masters won't always help your course because your first degree will always be referred to. Getting a top-up will erase that dent and give you a fresh start into the competitive Labour market. And I have two to three first hand testimonies of guys that have excelled going this route. tysonnn: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Yes..... that's what it's called. A top-up degree in the UK. It's for a year. Most or some of their universities offer it. MezieFresh: 1 Like |

Uw..... this is one of the most confusing state you can find yourself in. You can PM me if you need more insight on the best path to take. I've been in your shoes and I know so many other people who have been there and conquered as well. Good luck. hebenezher: |

You can start by using Google. Reword your question in so many ways. For example, WHAT NEXT after a third class degree, can I do my Masters degree in the US with a third class, where you able to get a job with a third class degree etc. Reword in so many ways and you'll be surprised at real life experiences you'll see on links you'll be directed to. You can get a Masters degree in the US if your CGPA falls within 2.5/4 evaluating your result using WES. Or if your CGPA lies within 2.3 thereabout. If you've got funds, doing a top up degree in a UK school will be your "bestest" choice. It goes for one year and you can do your Masters after that immediately. You can even get a First class in your top-up degree, I've seen one too many cases of such result. So in other words, your options are limitless. It's a tough road ahead, but you'll surely conquer once you're focused and you learn from your past mistakes. hebenezher: 27 Likes |

Unfortunately, this negative mindset has deluded the mindset of many Nigerians. I personally know a family friend, a son of nobody who currently works in NNPC. The guy is extremely smart, so I have no doubt in his abilities. He got in during the 2012 recruitment. Jarus: 5 Likes |

The only one thing Dangote can do that will help the Naira in the short run is to kick start his refineries. This will bring an end to importation of refined oil and in turn can reduce our importation in that sector. But how long will this last, oil is drying up, there's need for diversification. Other world economies are diversifying, Nigeria still living in past glory. Nigeria is a ticking bomb that will implode soon. nwanneni: 5 Likes |

You're wrong, you can complete your CIMA certificate (Ba1 - Ba4) within 4 months with no prior knowledge of accounting. This is if you've got an average time to study and pass your papers once. Some efiko have passed with one month of preparation as Well. Ladywinterfell: 3 Likes |
